আয্-যুমার (দলবদ্ধ জনতা)
بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ
শুরু করছি আল্লাহর নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়, অতি দয়ালু
[1] تَنزيلُ الكِتٰبِ مِنَ اللَّهِ العَزيزِ الحَكيمِ
[1] কিতাব অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে পরাক্রমশালী, প্রজ্ঞাময় আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে।
[1] The revelation of this Book (the Qur'ân) is from Allâh, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
[2] إِنّا أَنزَلنا إِلَيكَ الكِتٰبَ بِالحَقِّ فَاعبُدِ اللَّهَ مُخلِصًا لَهُ الدّينَ
[2] আমি আপনার প্রতি এ কিতাব যথার্থরূপে নাযিল করেছি। অতএব, আপনি নিষ্ঠার সাথে আল্লাহর এবাদত করুন।
[2] Verily, We have sent down the Book to you (O Muhammad SAW) in truth: So worship Allâh (Alone) by doing religious deeds sincerely for Allâh's sake only.
[3] أَلا لِلَّهِ الدّينُ الخالِصُ ۚ وَالَّذينَ اتَّخَذوا مِن دونِهِ أَولِياءَ ما نَعبُدُهُم إِلّا لِيُقَرِّبونا إِلَى اللَّهِ زُلفىٰ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَحكُمُ بَينَهُم فى ما هُم فيهِ يَختَلِفونَ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لا يَهدى مَن هُوَ كٰذِبٌ كَفّارٌ
[3] জেনে রাখুন, নিষ্ঠাপূর্ণ এবাদত আল্লাহরই নিমিত্ত। যারা আল্লাহ ব্যতীত অপরকে উপাস্যরূপে গ্রহণ করে রেখেছে এবং বলে যে, আমরা তাদের এবাদত এ জন্যেই করি, যেন তারা আমাদেরকে আল্লাহর নিকটবর্তী করে দেয়। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তাদের মধ্যে তাদের পারস্পরিক বিরোধপূর্ণ বিষয়ের ফয়সালা করে দেবেন। আল্লাহ মিথ্যাবাদী কাফেরকে সৎপথে পরিচালিত করেন না।
[3] Surely, the religion (i.e. the worship and the obedience) is for Allâh only. And those who take Auliyâ' (protectors, helpers, lords, gods) besides Him (say): "We worship them only that they may bring us near to Allâh." Verily, Allâh will judge between them concerning that wherein they differ. Truly, Allâh guides not him who is a liar, and a disbeliever.
[4] لَو أَرادَ اللَّهُ أَن يَتَّخِذَ وَلَدًا لَاصطَفىٰ مِمّا يَخلُقُ ما يَشاءُ ۚ سُبحٰنَهُ ۖ هُوَ اللَّهُ الوٰحِدُ القَهّارُ
[4] আল্লাহ যদি সন্তান গ্রহণ করার ইচ্ছা করতেন, তবে তাঁর সৃষ্টির মধ্য থেকে যা কিছু ইচ্ছা মনোনীত করতেন, তিনি পবিত্র। তিনি আল্লাহ, এক পরাক্রমশালী।
[4] Had Allâh willed to take a son (or offspring), He could have chosen whom He willed out of those whom He created. But glory is to Him! (He is above such things). He is Allâh, the One, the Irresistible.
[5] خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضَ بِالحَقِّ ۖ يُكَوِّرُ الَّيلَ عَلَى النَّهارِ وَيُكَوِّرُ النَّهارَ عَلَى الَّيلِ ۖ وَسَخَّرَ الشَّمسَ وَالقَمَرَ ۖ كُلٌّ يَجرى لِأَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى ۗ أَلا هُوَ العَزيزُ الغَفّٰرُ
[5] তিনি আসমান ও যমীন সৃষ্টি করেছেন যথাযথভাবে। তিনি রাত্রিকে দিবস দ্বারা আচ্ছাদিত করেন এবং দিবসকে রাত্রি দ্বারা আচ্ছাদিত করেন এবং তিনি সুর্য ও চন্দ্রকে কাজে নিযুক্ত করেছেন প্রত্যেকেই বিচরণ করে নির্দিষ্ট সময়কাল পর্যন্ত। জেনে রাখুন, তিনি পরাক্রমশালী, ক্ষমাশীল।
[5] He has created the heavens and the earth with truth. He makes the night to go in the day and makes the day to go in the night. And He has subjected the sun and the moon. Each running (on a fixed course) for an appointed term. Verily, He is the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving.
[6] خَلَقَكُم مِن نَفسٍ وٰحِدَةٍ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِنها زَوجَها وَأَنزَلَ لَكُم مِنَ الأَنعٰمِ ثَمٰنِيَةَ أَزوٰجٍ ۚ يَخلُقُكُم فى بُطونِ أُمَّهٰتِكُم خَلقًا مِن بَعدِ خَلقٍ فى ظُلُمٰتٍ ثَلٰثٍ ۚ ذٰلِكُمُ اللَّهُ رَبُّكُم لَهُ المُلكُ ۖ لا إِلٰهَ إِلّا هُوَ ۖ فَأَنّىٰ تُصرَفونَ
[6] তিনি সৃষ্টি করেছেন তোমাদেরকে একই ব্যক্তি থেকে। অতঃপর তা থেকে তার যুগল সৃষ্টি করেছেন এবং তিনি তোমাদের জন্যে আট প্রকার চতুষ্পদ জন্তু অবতীর্ণ করেছেন। তিনি তোমাদেরকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন তোমাদের মাতৃগর্ভে পর্যায়ক্রমে একের পর এক ত্রিবিধ অন্ধকারে। তিনি আল্লাহ তোমাদের পালনকর্তা, সাম্রাজ্য তাঁরই। তিনি ব্যতীত কোন উপাস্য নেই। অতএব, তোমরা কোথায় বিভ্রান্ত হচ্ছ?
[6] He created you (all) from a single person (Adam); then made from him his wife [Hawwa' (Eve)]. And He has sent down for you of cattle eight pairs (of the sheep, two, male and female; of the goats, two, male and female; of the oxen, two, male and female; and of the camels, two, male and female). He creates you in the wombs of your mothers, creation after creation in three veils of darkness, such is Allâh your Lord. His is the kingdom, Lâ ilâha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He). How then are you turned away?
[7] إِن تَكفُروا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَنِىٌّ عَنكُم ۖ وَلا يَرضىٰ لِعِبادِهِ الكُفرَ ۖ وَإِن تَشكُروا يَرضَهُ لَكُم ۗ وَلا تَزِرُ وازِرَةٌ وِزرَ أُخرىٰ ۗ ثُمَّ إِلىٰ رَبِّكُم مَرجِعُكُم فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِما كُنتُم تَعمَلونَ ۚ إِنَّهُ عَليمٌ بِذاتِ الصُّدورِ
[7] যদি তোমরা অস্বীকার কর, তবে আল্লাহ তোমাদের থেকে বেপরওয়া। তিনি তাঁর বান্দাদের কাফের হয়ে পড়া পছন্দ করেন না। পক্ষান্তরে যদি তোমরা কৃতজ্ঞ হও, তবে তিনি তোমাদের জন্যে তা পছন্দ করেন। একের পাপ ভার অন্যে বহন করবে না। অতঃপর তোমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তার কাছে ফিরে যাবে। তিনি তোমাদেরকে তোমাদের কর্ম সম্বন্ধে অবহিত করবেন। নিশ্চয় তিনি অন্তরের বিষয় সম্পর্কেও অবগত।
[7] If you disbelieve, then verily, Allâh is not in need of you, He likes not disbelief for His slaves. And if you are grateful (by being believers), He is pleased therewith for you. No bearer of burdens shall bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return, and He will inform you what you used to do. Verily, He is the All-Knower of that which is in (men's) breasts.
[8] ۞ وَإِذا مَسَّ الإِنسٰنَ ضُرٌّ دَعا رَبَّهُ مُنيبًا إِلَيهِ ثُمَّ إِذا خَوَّلَهُ نِعمَةً مِنهُ نَسِىَ ما كانَ يَدعوا إِلَيهِ مِن قَبلُ وَجَعَلَ لِلَّهِ أَندادًا لِيُضِلَّ عَن سَبيلِهِ ۚ قُل تَمَتَّع بِكُفرِكَ قَليلًا ۖ إِنَّكَ مِن أَصحٰبِ النّارِ
[8] যখন মানুষকে দুঃখ-কষ্ট স্পর্শ করে, তখন সে একাগ্রচিত্তে তার পালনকর্তাকে ডাকে, অতঃপর তিনি যখন তাকে নেয়ামত দান করেন, তখন সে কষ্টের কথা বিস্মৃত হয়ে যায়, যার জন্যে পূর্বে ডেকেছিল এবং আল্লাহর সমকক্ষ স্থির করে; যাতে করে অপরকে আল্লাহর পথ থেকে বিভ্রান্ত করে। বলুন, তুমি তোমার কুফর সহকারে কিছুকাল জীবনোপভোগ করে নাও। নিশ্চয় তুমি জাহান্নামীদের অন্তর্ভূক্ত।
[8] And when some hurt touches man, he cries to his Lord (Allâh Alone), turning to Him in repentance, but when He bestows a favour upon him from Himself, he forgets that for which he cried for before, and he sets up rivals to Allâh, in order to mislead others from His Path. Say: "Take pleasure in your disbelief for a while: surely, you are (one) of the dwellers of the Fire!"
[9] أَمَّن هُوَ قٰنِتٌ ءاناءَ الَّيلِ ساجِدًا وَقائِمًا يَحذَرُ الءاخِرَةَ وَيَرجوا رَحمَةَ رَبِّهِ ۗ قُل هَل يَستَوِى الَّذينَ يَعلَمونَ وَالَّذينَ لا يَعلَمونَ ۗ إِنَّما يَتَذَكَّرُ أُولُوا الأَلبٰبِ
[9] যে ব্যক্তি রাত্রিকালে সেজদার মাধ্যমে অথবা দাঁড়িয়ে এবাদত করে, পরকালের আশংকা রাখে এবং তার পালনকর্তার রহমত প্রত্যাশা করে, সে কি তার সমান, যে এরূপ করে না; বলুন, যারা জানে এবং যারা জানে না; তারা কি সমান হতে পারে? চিন্তা-ভাবনা কেবল তারাই করে, যারা বুদ্ধিমান।
[9] Is one who is obedient to Allâh, prostrating himself or standing (in prayer) during the hours of the night, fearing the Hereafter and hoping for the Mercy of his Lord (like one who disbelieves)? Say: "Are those who know equal to those who know not?" It is only men of understanding who will remember (i.e. get a lesson from Allâh's Signs and Verses).
[10] قُل يٰعِبادِ الَّذينَ ءامَنُوا اتَّقوا رَبَّكُم ۚ لِلَّذينَ أَحسَنوا فى هٰذِهِ الدُّنيا حَسَنَةٌ ۗ وَأَرضُ اللَّهِ وٰسِعَةٌ ۗ إِنَّما يُوَفَّى الصّٰبِرونَ أَجرَهُم بِغَيرِ حِسابٍ
[10] বলুন, হে আমার বিশ্বাসী বান্দাগণ! তোমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তাকে ভয় কর। যারা এ দুনিয়াতে সৎকাজ করে, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে পুণ্য। আল্লাহর পৃথিবী প্রশস্ত। যারা সবরকারী, তারাই তাদের পুরস্কার পায় অগণিত।
[10] Say (O Muhammad SAW): "O My slaves who believe (in the Oneness of Allâh Islâmic — Monotheism), be afraid of your Lord (Allâh) and keep your duty to Him. Good is (the reward) for those who do good in this world, and Allâh's earth is spacious (so if you cannot worship Allâh at a place, then go to another)! Only those who are patient shall receive their reward in full, without reckoning."
[11] قُل إِنّى أُمِرتُ أَن أَعبُدَ اللَّهَ مُخلِصًا لَهُ الدّينَ
[11] বলুন, আমি নিষ্ঠার সাথে আল্লাহর এবাদত করতে আদিষ্ট হয়েছি।
[11] Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Verily, I am commanded to worship Allâh (Alone) by obeying Him and doing religious deeds sincerely for His sake only.
[12] وَأُمِرتُ لِأَن أَكونَ أَوَّلَ المُسلِمينَ
[12] আরও আদিষ্ট হয়েছি, সর্ব প্রথম নির্দেশ পালনকারী হওয়ার জন্যে।
[12] "And I am commanded (this) in order that I may be the first of those who submit themselves to Allâh (in Islâm) as Muslims."
[13] قُل إِنّى أَخافُ إِن عَصَيتُ رَبّى عَذابَ يَومٍ عَظيمٍ
[13] বলুন, আমি আমার পালনকর্তার অবাধ্য হলে এক মহাদিবসের শাস্তির ভয় করি।
[13] Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Verily, if I disobey my Lord, I am afraid of the torment of a great Day."
[14] قُلِ اللَّهَ أَعبُدُ مُخلِصًا لَهُ دينى
[14] বলুন, আমি নিষ্ঠার সাথে আল্লাহ তা’আলারই এবাদত করি।
[14] Say (O Muhammad SAW) "Allâh Alone I worship by doing religious deeds sincerely for His sake only (and not to show off, and not to set up rivals with Him in worship)."
[15] فَاعبُدوا ما شِئتُم مِن دونِهِ ۗ قُل إِنَّ الخٰسِرينَ الَّذينَ خَسِروا أَنفُسَهُم وَأَهليهِم يَومَ القِيٰمَةِ ۗ أَلا ذٰلِكَ هُوَ الخُسرانُ المُبينُ
[15] অতএব, তোমরা আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে যার ইচ্ছা তার এবাদত কর। বলুন, কেয়ামতের দিন তারাই বেশী ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হবে, যারা নিজেদের ও পরিবারবর্গের তরফ থেকে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হবে। জেনে রাখ, এটাই সুস্পষ্ট ক্ষতি।
[15] So worship what you like besides Him. Say (O Muhammad SAW): "The losers are those who will lose themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection. Verily, that will be a manifest loss!"
[16] لَهُم مِن فَوقِهِم ظُلَلٌ مِنَ النّارِ وَمِن تَحتِهِم ظُلَلٌ ۚ ذٰلِكَ يُخَوِّفُ اللَّهُ بِهِ عِبادَهُ ۚ يٰعِبادِ فَاتَّقونِ
[16] তাদের জন্যে উপর দিক থেকে এবং নীচের দিক থেকে আগুনের মেঘমালা থাকবে। এ শাস্তি দ্বারা আল্লাহ তাঁর বান্দাদেরকে সতর্ক করেন যে, হে আমার বান্দাগণ, আমাকে ভয় কর।
[16] They shall have coverings of Fire, above them and covering (of Fire) beneath them; with this Allâh does frighten His slaves: "O My slaves, therefore fear Me!"
[17] وَالَّذينَ اجتَنَبُوا الطّٰغوتَ أَن يَعبُدوها وَأَنابوا إِلَى اللَّهِ لَهُمُ البُشرىٰ ۚ فَبَشِّر عِبادِ
[17] যারা শয়তানী শক্তির পূজা-অর্চনা থেকে দূরে থাকে এবং আল্লাহ অভিমুখী হয়, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে সুসংবাদ। অতএব, সুসংবাদ দিন আমার বান্দাদেরকে।
[17] Those who avoid At-Tâghût (false deities) by not worshipping them and turn to Allâh (in repentance), for them are glad tidings; so announce the good news to My slaves,—
[18] الَّذينَ يَستَمِعونَ القَولَ فَيَتَّبِعونَ أَحسَنَهُ ۚ أُولٰئِكَ الَّذينَ هَدىٰهُمُ اللَّهُ ۖ وَأُولٰئِكَ هُم أُولُوا الأَلبٰبِ
[18] যারা মনোনিবেশ সহকারে কথা শুনে, অতঃপর যা উত্তম, তার অনুসরণ করে। তাদেরকেই আল্লাহ সৎপথ প্রদর্শন করেন এবং তারাই বুদ্ধিমান।
[18] Those who listen to the Word [good advice Lâ ilâha ill-allâh — (none has the right to be worshipped but Allâh) and Islâmic Monotheism] and follow the best thereof (i.e. worship Allâh Alone, repent to Him and avoid Tâghût) those are (the ones) whom Allâh has guided and those are men of understanding.
[19] أَفَمَن حَقَّ عَلَيهِ كَلِمَةُ العَذابِ أَفَأَنتَ تُنقِذُ مَن فِى النّارِ
[19] যার জন্যে শাস্তির হুকুম অবধারিত হয়ে গেছে আপনি কি সে জাহান্নামীকে মুক্ত করতে পারবেন?
[19] Is, then one against whom the Word of punishment is justified (equal to the one who avoids evil)? Will you (O Muhammad SAW) rescue him who is in the Fire?
[20] لٰكِنِ الَّذينَ اتَّقَوا رَبَّهُم لَهُم غُرَفٌ مِن فَوقِها غُرَفٌ مَبنِيَّةٌ تَجرى مِن تَحتِهَا الأَنهٰرُ ۖ وَعدَ اللَّهِ ۖ لا يُخلِفُ اللَّهُ الميعادَ
[20] কিন্তু যারা তাদের পালনকর্তাকে ভয় করে, তাদের জন্যে নির্মিত রয়েছে প্রাসাদের উপর প্রাসাদ। এগুলোর তলদেশে নদী প্রবাহিত। আল্লাহ প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়েছেন। আল্লাহ প্রতিশ্রুতির খেলাফ করেন না।
[20] But those who fear their Lord (Allâh) and keep their duty to Him, for them are built lofty rooms; one above another under which rivers flow (i.e. Paradise). (This is) the Promise of Allâh: and Allâh does not fail in (His) Promise.
[21] أَلَم تَرَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ أَنزَلَ مِنَ السَّماءِ ماءً فَسَلَكَهُ يَنٰبيعَ فِى الأَرضِ ثُمَّ يُخرِجُ بِهِ زَرعًا مُختَلِفًا أَلوٰنُهُ ثُمَّ يَهيجُ فَتَرىٰهُ مُصفَرًّا ثُمَّ يَجعَلُهُ حُطٰمًا ۚ إِنَّ فى ذٰلِكَ لَذِكرىٰ لِأُولِى الأَلبٰبِ
[21] তুমি কি দেখনি যে, আল্লাহ আকাশ থেকে পানি বর্ষণ করেছেন, অতঃপর সে পানি যমীনের ঝর্ণাসমূহে প্রবাহিত করেছেন, এরপর তদ্দ্বারা বিভিন্ন রঙের ফসল উৎপন্ন করেন, অতঃপর তা শুকিয়ে যায়, ফলে তোমরা তা পীতবর্ণ দেখতে পাও। এরপর আল্লাহ তাকে খড়-কুটায় পরিণত করে দেন। নিশ্চয় এতে বুদ্ধিমানদের জন্যে উপদেশ রয়েছে।
[21] See you not, that Allâh sends down water (rain) from the sky, and causes it to penetrate the earth, (and then makes it to spring up) as water-springs and afterward thereby produces crops of different colours, and afterward they wither and you see them turn yellow, then He makes them dry and broken pieces. Verily, in this, is a Reminder for men of understanding.
[22] أَفَمَن شَرَحَ اللَّهُ صَدرَهُ لِلإِسلٰمِ فَهُوَ عَلىٰ نورٍ مِن رَبِّهِ ۚ فَوَيلٌ لِلقٰسِيَةِ قُلوبُهُم مِن ذِكرِ اللَّهِ ۚ أُولٰئِكَ فى ضَلٰلٍ مُبينٍ
[22] আল্লাহ যার বক্ষ ইসলামের জন্যে উম্মুক্ত করে দিয়েছেন, অতঃপর সে তার পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে আগত আলোর মাঝে রয়েছে। (সে কি তার সমান, যে এরূপ নয়) যাদের অন্তর আল্লাহ স্মরণের ব্যাপারে কঠোর, তাদের জন্যে দূর্ভোগ। তারা সুস্পষ্ঠ গোমরাহীতে রয়েছে।
[22] Is he whose breast Allâh has opened to Islâm, so that he is in light from His Lord (as he who is non-Muslim)? So, woe to those whose hearts are hardened against remembrance of Allâh! They are in plain error!
[23] اللَّهُ نَزَّلَ أَحسَنَ الحَديثِ كِتٰبًا مُتَشٰبِهًا مَثانِىَ تَقشَعِرُّ مِنهُ جُلودُ الَّذينَ يَخشَونَ رَبَّهُم ثُمَّ تَلينُ جُلودُهُم وَقُلوبُهُم إِلىٰ ذِكرِ اللَّهِ ۚ ذٰلِكَ هُدَى اللَّهِ يَهدى بِهِ مَن يَشاءُ ۚ وَمَن يُضلِلِ اللَّهُ فَما لَهُ مِن هادٍ
[23] আল্লাহ উত্তম বাণী তথা কিতাব নাযিল করেছেন, যা সামঞ্জস্যপূর্ণ, পূনঃ পূনঃ পঠিত। এতে তাদের লোম কাঁটা দিয়ে উঠে চামড়ার উপর, যারা তাদের পালনকর্তাকে ভয় করে, এরপর তাদের চামড়া ও অন্তর আল্লাহর স্মরণে বিনম্র হয়। এটাই আল্লাহর পথ নির্দেশ, এর মাধ্যমে আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা পথ প্রদর্শন করেন। আর আল্লাহ যাকে গোমরাহ করেন, তার কোন পথপ্রদর্শক নেই।
[23] Allâh has sent down the Best statement, a Book (this Qur'ân), its parts resembling each other (in goodness and truth), and oft-repeated. The skins of those who fear their Lord shiver from it (when they recite it or hear it). Then their skin and their heart soften to the remembrance of Allâh. That is the guidance of Allâh. He Guides therewith whom He wills and whomever Allâh sends astray, for him there is no guide.
[24] أَفَمَن يَتَّقى بِوَجهِهِ سوءَ العَذابِ يَومَ القِيٰمَةِ ۚ وَقيلَ لِلظّٰلِمينَ ذوقوا ما كُنتُم تَكسِبونَ
[24] যে ব্যক্তি কেয়ামতের দিন তার মুখ দ্বারা অশুভ আযাব ঠেকাবে এবং এরূপ জালেমদেরকে বলা হবে, তোমরা যা করতে তার স্বাদ আস্বাদন কর,-সে কি তার সমান, যে এরূপ নয়?
[24] Is he then, who will confront with his face the awful torment on the Day of Resurrection (as he who enters peacefully in Paradise)? And it will be said to the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers): "Taste what you used to earn!"
[25] كَذَّبَ الَّذينَ مِن قَبلِهِم فَأَتىٰهُمُ العَذابُ مِن حَيثُ لا يَشعُرونَ
[25] তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরাও মিথ্যারোপ করেছিল, ফলে তাদের কাছে আযাব এমনভাবে আসল, যা তারা কল্পনাও করত না।
[25] Those before them belied, and so the torment came on them from directions they perceived not.
[26] فَأَذاقَهُمُ اللَّهُ الخِزىَ فِى الحَيوٰةِ الدُّنيا ۖ وَلَعَذابُ الءاخِرَةِ أَكبَرُ ۚ لَو كانوا يَعلَمونَ
[26] অতঃপর আল্লাহ তাদেরকে পার্থিব জীবনে লাঞ্ছনার স্বাদ আস্বাদন করালেন, আর পরকালের আযাব হবে আরও গুরুতর, যদি তারা জানত!
[26] So Allâh made them to taste the disgrace in the present life, but greater is the torment of the Hereafter if they only knew!
[27] وَلَقَد ضَرَبنا لِلنّاسِ فى هٰذَا القُرءانِ مِن كُلِّ مَثَلٍ لَعَلَّهُم يَتَذَكَّرونَ
[27] আমি এ কোরআনে মানুষের জন্যে সব দৃষ্টান্তই বর্ণনা করেছি, যাতে তারা অনুধাবন করে;
[27] And indeed We have put forth for men, in this Qur'ân every kind of similitude in order that they may remember.
[28] قُرءانًا عَرَبِيًّا غَيرَ ذى عِوَجٍ لَعَلَّهُم يَتَّقونَ
[28] আরবী ভাষায় এ কোরআন বক্রতামুক্ত, যাতে তারা সাবধান হয়ে চলে।
[28] An Arabic Qur'ân, without any crookedness (therein) in order that they may avoid all evil which Allâh has ordered them to avoid, fear Him and keep their duty to Him
[29] ضَرَبَ اللَّهُ مَثَلًا رَجُلًا فيهِ شُرَكاءُ مُتَشٰكِسونَ وَرَجُلًا سَلَمًا لِرَجُلٍ هَل يَستَوِيانِ مَثَلًا ۚ الحَمدُ لِلَّهِ ۚ بَل أَكثَرُهُم لا يَعلَمونَ
[29] আল্লাহ এক দৃষ্টান্ত বর্ণনা করেছেনঃ একটি লোকের উপর পরস্পর বিরোধী কয়জন মালিক রয়েছে, আরেক ব্যক্তির প্রভু মাত্র একজন-তাদের উভয়ের অবস্থা কি সমান? সমস্ত প্রশংসা আল্লাহর। কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই জানে না।
[29] Allâh puts forth a similitude: a (slave) man belonging to many partners (like those who worship others along with Allâh) disputing with one another, and a (slave) man belonging entirely to one master, (like those who worship Allâh Alone). Are those two equal in comparison? All the praises and thanks are to Allâh! But most of them know not.
[30] إِنَّكَ مَيِّتٌ وَإِنَّهُم مَيِّتونَ
[30] নিশ্চয় তোমারও মৃত্যু হবে এবং তাদেরও মৃত্যু হবে।
[30] Verily, you (O Muhammad SAW) will die and verily, they (too) will die.
[31] ثُمَّ إِنَّكُم يَومَ القِيٰمَةِ عِندَ رَبِّكُم تَختَصِمونَ
[31] অতঃপর কেয়ামতের দিন তোমরা সবাই তোমাদের পালনকর্তার সামনে কথা কাটাকাটি করবে।
[31] Then, on the Day of Resurrection, you will be disputing before your Lord.
[32] ۞ فَمَن أَظلَمُ مِمَّن كَذَبَ عَلَى اللَّهِ وَكَذَّبَ بِالصِّدقِ إِذ جاءَهُ ۚ أَلَيسَ فى جَهَنَّمَ مَثوًى لِلكٰفِرينَ
[32] যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহর বিরুদ্ধে মিথ্যা বলে এবং তার কাছে সত্য আগমন করার পর তাকে মিথ্যা সাব্যস্ত করে, তার চেয়ে অধিক যালেম আর কে হবে? কাফেরদের বাসস্থান জাহান্নামে নয় কি?
[32] Then, who does more wrong than one who utters a lie against Allâh, and denies the truth [this Qur'ân, the Prophet (Muhammad SAW), and the Islâmic Monotheism] when it comes to him! Is there not in Hell an abode for the disbelievers?
[33] وَالَّذى جاءَ بِالصِّدقِ وَصَدَّقَ بِهِ ۙ أُولٰئِكَ هُمُ المُتَّقونَ
[33] যারা সত্য নিয়ে আগমন করছে এবং সত্যকে সত্য মেনে নিয়েছে; তারাই তো খোদাভীরু।
[33] And he (Muhammad SAW) who has brought the truth (this Qur'ân and Islâmic Monotheism) and (those who) believed therein (i.e. the true believers of Islâmic Monotheism), those are Al- Muttaqûn (the pious and righteous persons - see V.2:2)
[34] لَهُم ما يَشاءونَ عِندَ رَبِّهِم ۚ ذٰلِكَ جَزاءُ المُحسِنينَ
[34] তাদের জন্যে পালনকর্তার কাছে তাই রয়েছে, যা তারা চাইবে। এটা সৎকর্মীদের পুরস্কার।
[34] They shall have all that they will desire with their Lord. That is the reward of Muhsinûn (good-doers - see the footnote of V.9:120)
[35] لِيُكَفِّرَ اللَّهُ عَنهُم أَسوَأَ الَّذى عَمِلوا وَيَجزِيَهُم أَجرَهُم بِأَحسَنِ الَّذى كانوا يَعمَلونَ
[35] যাতে আল্লাহ তাদের মন্দ কর্মসমূহ মার্জনা করেন এবং তাদের উত্তম কর্মের পুরস্কার তাদেরকে দান করেন।
[35] So that Allâh may expiate from them the evil of what they did and give them the reward, according to the best of what they used to do
[36] أَلَيسَ اللَّهُ بِكافٍ عَبدَهُ ۖ وَيُخَوِّفونَكَ بِالَّذينَ مِن دونِهِ ۚ وَمَن يُضلِلِ اللَّهُ فَما لَهُ مِن هادٍ
[36] আল্লাহ কি তাঁর বান্দার পক্ষে যথেষ্ট নন? অথচ তারা আপনাকে আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে অন্যান্য উপাস্যদের ভয় দেখায়। আল্লাহ যাকে গোমরাহ করেন, তার কোন পথপ্রদর্শক নেই।
[36] Is not Allâh Sufficient for His slave? Yet they try to frighten you with those (whom they worship) besides Him! And whom Allâh sends astray, for him there will be no guide.
[37] وَمَن يَهدِ اللَّهُ فَما لَهُ مِن مُضِلٍّ ۗ أَلَيسَ اللَّهُ بِعَزيزٍ ذِى انتِقامٍ
[37] আর আল্লাহ যাকে পথপ্রদর্শন করেন, তাকে পথভ্রষ্টকারী কেউ নেই। আল্লাহ কি পরাক্রমশালী, প্রতিশোধ গ্রহণকারী নন?
[37] And whomsoever Allâh guides, for him there will be no misleader. Is not Allâh All-Mighty, Possessor of Retribution?
[38] وَلَئِن سَأَلتَهُم مَن خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضَ لَيَقولُنَّ اللَّهُ ۚ قُل أَفَرَءَيتُم ما تَدعونَ مِن دونِ اللَّهِ إِن أَرادَنِىَ اللَّهُ بِضُرٍّ هَل هُنَّ كٰشِفٰتُ ضُرِّهِ أَو أَرادَنى بِرَحمَةٍ هَل هُنَّ مُمسِكٰتُ رَحمَتِهِ ۚ قُل حَسبِىَ اللَّهُ ۖ عَلَيهِ يَتَوَكَّلُ المُتَوَكِّلونَ
[38] যদি আপনি তাদেরকে জিজ্ঞেস করেন, আসমান ও যমীন কে সৃষ্টি করেছে? তারা অবশ্যই বলবে-আল্লাহ। বলুন, তোমরা ভেবে দেখেছ কি, যদি আল্লাহ আমার অনিষ্ট করার ইচ্ছা করেন, তবে তোমরা আল্লাহ ব্যতীত যাদেরকে ডাক, তারা কি সে অনিষ্ট দূর করতে পারবে? অথবা তিনি আমার প্রতি রহমত করার ইচ্ছা করলে তারা কি সে রহমত রোধ করতে পারবে? বলুন, আমার পক্ষে আল্লাহই যথেষ্ট। নির্ভরকারীরা তাঁরই উপর নির্ভর করে।
[38] And verily, if you ask them: "Who created the heavens and the earth?" Surely, they will say: "Allâh (has created them)." Say: "Tell me then, the things that you invoke besides Allâh, if Allâh intended some harm for me, could they remove His harm, or if He (Allâh) intended some mercy for me, could they withhold His Mercy?" Say : "Sufficient for me is Allâh; in Him those who trust (i.e. believers) must put their trust."
[39] قُل يٰقَومِ اعمَلوا عَلىٰ مَكانَتِكُم إِنّى عٰمِلٌ ۖ فَسَوفَ تَعلَمونَ
[39] বলুন, হে আমার কওম, তোমরা তোমাদের জায়গায় কাজ কর, আমিও কাজ করছি। সত্ত্বরই জানতে পারবে।
[39] Say: (O Muhammad SAW) "O My people! Work according to your way, I am working (according to my way). Then you will come to know,
[40] مَن يَأتيهِ عَذابٌ يُخزيهِ وَيَحِلُّ عَلَيهِ عَذابٌ مُقيمٌ
[40] কার কাছে অবমাননাকর আযাব এবং চিরস্থায়ী শাস্তি নেমে আসে।
[40] "To whom comes a disgracing torment, and on whom descends an everlasting torment."
[41] إِنّا أَنزَلنا عَلَيكَ الكِتٰبَ لِلنّاسِ بِالحَقِّ ۖ فَمَنِ اهتَدىٰ فَلِنَفسِهِ ۖ وَمَن ضَلَّ فَإِنَّما يَضِلُّ عَلَيها ۖ وَما أَنتَ عَلَيهِم بِوَكيلٍ
[41] আমি আপনার প্রতি সত্য ধর্মসহ কিতাব নাযিল করেছি মানুষের কল্যাণকল্পে। অতঃপর যে সৎপথে আসে, সে নিজের কল্যাণের জন্যেই আসে, আর যে পথভ্রষ্ট হয়, সে নিজেরই অনিষ্টের জন্যে পথভ্রষ্ট হয়। আপনি তাদের জন্যে দায়ী নন।
[41] Verily, We have sent down to you (O Muhammad SAW) the Book (this Qur'ân) for mankind in truth. So whosoever accepts the guidance, it is only for his ownself, and whosoever goes astray, he goes astray only for his (own) loss. And you (O Muhammad SAW) are not a Wakîl (trustee or disposer of affairs, or guardian) over them.
[42] اللَّهُ يَتَوَفَّى الأَنفُسَ حينَ مَوتِها وَالَّتى لَم تَمُت فى مَنامِها ۖ فَيُمسِكُ الَّتى قَضىٰ عَلَيهَا المَوتَ وَيُرسِلُ الأُخرىٰ إِلىٰ أَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى ۚ إِنَّ فى ذٰلِكَ لَءايٰتٍ لِقَومٍ يَتَفَكَّرونَ
[42] আল্লাহ মানুষের প্রাণ হরণ করেন তার মৃত্যুর সময়, আর যে মরে না, তার নিদ্রাকালে। অতঃপর যার মৃত্যু অবধারিত করেন, তার প্রাণ ছাড়েন না এবং অন্যান্যদের ছেড়ে দেন এক নির্দিষ্ট সময়ের জন্যে। নিশ্চয় এতে চিন্তাশীল লোকদের জন্যে নিদর্শনাবলী রয়েছে।
[42] It is Allâh Who takes away the souls at the time of their death, and those that die not during their sleep. He keeps those (souls) for which He has ordained death and sends the rest for a term appointed. Verily, in this are signs for a people who think deeply.
[43] أَمِ اتَّخَذوا مِن دونِ اللَّهِ شُفَعاءَ ۚ قُل أَوَلَو كانوا لا يَملِكونَ شَيـًٔا وَلا يَعقِلونَ
[43] তারা কি আল্লাহ ব্যতীত সুপারিশকারী গ্রহণ করেছে? বলুন, তাদের কোন এখতিয়ার না থাকলেও এবং তারা না বুঝলেও?
[43] Have they taken (others) as intercessors besides Allâh? Say: "Even if they have power over nothing whatever and have no intelligence?"
[44] قُل لِلَّهِ الشَّفٰعَةُ جَميعًا ۖ لَهُ مُلكُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضِ ۖ ثُمَّ إِلَيهِ تُرجَعونَ
[44] বলুন, সমস্ত সুপারিশ আল্লাহরই ক্ষমতাধীন, আসমান ও যমীনে তাঁরই সাম্রাজ্য। অতঃপর তাঁরই কাছে তোমরা প্রত্যাবর্তিত হবে।
[44] Say: "To Allâh belongs all intercession. His is the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth, Then to Him you shall be brought back."
[45] وَإِذا ذُكِرَ اللَّهُ وَحدَهُ اشمَأَزَّت قُلوبُ الَّذينَ لا يُؤمِنونَ بِالءاخِرَةِ ۖ وَإِذا ذُكِرَ الَّذينَ مِن دونِهِ إِذا هُم يَستَبشِرونَ
[45] যখন খাঁটিভাবে আল্লাহর নাম উচ্চারণ করা হয়, তখন যারা পরকালে বিশ্বাস করে না, তাদের অন্তর সংকুচিত হয়ে যায়, আর যখন আল্লাহ ব্যতীত অন্য উপাস্যদের নাম উচ্চারণ করা হয়, তখন তারা আনন্দে উল্লসিত হয়ে উঠে।
[45] And when Allâh Alone is mentioned, the hearts of those who believe not in the Hereafter are filled with disgust (from the Oneness of Allâh (<><>) and when those (whom they obey or worship) besides Him [like all false deities other than Allâh, it may be a Messenger, an angel, a pious man, a jinn, or any other creature even idols, graves of religious people, saints, priests, monks and others] are mentioned, behold, they rejoice!
[46] قُلِ اللَّهُمَّ فاطِرَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضِ عٰلِمَ الغَيبِ وَالشَّهٰدَةِ أَنتَ تَحكُمُ بَينَ عِبادِكَ فى ما كانوا فيهِ يَختَلِفونَ
[46] বলুন, হে আল্লাহ আসমান ও যমীনের স্রষ্টা, দৃশ্য ও অদৃশ্যের জ্ঞানী, আপনিই আপনার বান্দাদের মধ্যে ফয়সালা করবেন, যে বিষয়ে তারা মত বিরোধ করত।
[46] Say (O Muhammad SAW): "O Allâh! Creator of the heavens and the earth! All-Knower of the Ghaib (unseen) and the seen. You will judge between your slaves about that wherein they used to differ."
[47] وَلَو أَنَّ لِلَّذينَ ظَلَموا ما فِى الأَرضِ جَميعًا وَمِثلَهُ مَعَهُ لَافتَدَوا بِهِ مِن سوءِ العَذابِ يَومَ القِيٰمَةِ ۚ وَبَدا لَهُم مِنَ اللَّهِ ما لَم يَكونوا يَحتَسِبونَ
[47] যদি গোনাহগারদের কাছে পৃথিবীর সবকিছু থাকে এবং তার সাথে সমপরিমাণ আরও থাকে, তবে অবশ্যই তারা কেয়ামতের দিন সে সবকিছুই নিস্কৃতি পাওয়ার জন্যে মুক্তিপন হিসেবে দিয়ে দেবে। অথচ তারা দেখতে পাবে, আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে এমন শাস্তি, যা তারা কল্পনাও করত না।
[47] And those who did wrong (the polytheists and disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâh), if they had all that is in earth and therewith as much again, they verily, would offer it to ransom themselves therewith on the Day of Resurrection from the evil torment, and there will become apparent to them from Allâh, what they had not been reckoning
[48] وَبَدا لَهُم سَيِّـٔاتُ ما كَسَبوا وَحاقَ بِهِم ما كانوا بِهِ يَستَهزِءونَ
[48] আর দেখবে, তাদের দুস্কর্মসমূহ এবং যে বিষয়ে তারা ঠাট্টা-বিদ্রুপ করত, তা তাদেরকে ঘিরে নেবে।
[48] And the evils of that which they earned will become apparent to them, and that which they used to mock at will encircled them.
[49] فَإِذا مَسَّ الإِنسٰنَ ضُرٌّ دَعانا ثُمَّ إِذا خَوَّلنٰهُ نِعمَةً مِنّا قالَ إِنَّما أوتيتُهُ عَلىٰ عِلمٍ ۚ بَل هِىَ فِتنَةٌ وَلٰكِنَّ أَكثَرَهُم لا يَعلَمونَ
[49] মানুষকে যখন দুঃখ-কষ্ট স্পর্শ করে, তখন সে আমাকে ডাকতে শুরু করে, এরপর আমি যখন তাকে আমার পক্ষ থেকে নেয়ামত দান করি, তখন সে বলে, এটা তো আমি পূর্বের জানা মতেই প্রাপ্ত হয়েছি। অথচ এটা এক পরীক্ষা, কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই বোঝে না।
[49] When harm touches man, he calls to Us (for help), then when We have (rescued him from that harm and) changed it into a favour from Us, he says: "Only because of knowledge (that I possess) I obtained it." Nay, it is only a trial, but most of them know not!
[50] قَد قالَهَا الَّذينَ مِن قَبلِهِم فَما أَغنىٰ عَنهُم ما كانوا يَكسِبونَ
[50] তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরাও তাই বলত, অতঃপর তাদের কৃতকর্ম তাদের কোন উপকারে আসেনি।
[50] Verily, those before them said it, yet (all) that they had earned availed them not.
[51] فَأَصابَهُم سَيِّـٔاتُ ما كَسَبوا ۚ وَالَّذينَ ظَلَموا مِن هٰؤُلاءِ سَيُصيبُهُم سَيِّـٔاتُ ما كَسَبوا وَما هُم بِمُعجِزينَ
[51] তাদের দুস্কর্ম তাদেরকে বিপদে ফেলেছে, এদের মধ্যেও যারা পাপী, তাদেরকেও অতি সত্ত্বর তাদের দুস্কর্ম বিপদে ফেলবে। তারা তা প্রতিহত করতে সক্ষম হবে না।
[51] So, the evil results of that which they earned overtook them. And those who did wrong of these [people to whom you (Muhammad SAW) have been sent], will also be overtaken by the evil results (torment) for that which they earned, and they will never be able to escape.
[52] أَوَلَم يَعلَموا أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَبسُطُ الرِّزقَ لِمَن يَشاءُ وَيَقدِرُ ۚ إِنَّ فى ذٰلِكَ لَءايٰتٍ لِقَومٍ يُؤمِنونَ
[52] তারা কি জানেনি যে, আল্লাহ যার জন্যে ইচ্ছা রিযিক বৃদ্ধি করেন এবং পরিমিত দেন। নিশ্চয় এতে বিশ্বাসী সম্প্রদায়ের জন্যে নিদর্শনাবলী রয়েছে।
[52] Do they not know that Allâh enlarges the provision for whom He wills, and straitens it (for whom He wills). Verily, in this are signs for the folk who believe!
[53] ۞ قُل يٰعِبادِىَ الَّذينَ أَسرَفوا عَلىٰ أَنفُسِهِم لا تَقنَطوا مِن رَحمَةِ اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَغفِرُ الذُّنوبَ جَميعًا ۚ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الغَفورُ الرَّحيمُ
[53] বলুন, হে আমার বান্দাগণ যারা নিজেদের উপর যুলুম করেছ তোমরা আল্লাহর রহমত থেকে নিরাশ হয়ো না। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সমস্ত গোনাহ মাফ করেন। তিনি ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু।
[53] Say: "O 'Ibâdî (My slaves) who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allâh, verily Allâh forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful
[54] وَأَنيبوا إِلىٰ رَبِّكُم وَأَسلِموا لَهُ مِن قَبلِ أَن يَأتِيَكُمُ العَذابُ ثُمَّ لا تُنصَرونَ
[54] তোমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তার অভিমূখী হও এবং তাঁর আজ্ঞাবহ হও তোমাদের কাছে আযাব আসার পূর্বে। এরপর তোমরা সাহায্যপ্রাপ্ত হবে না;
[54] "And turn in repentance and in obedience with true Faith (Islâmic Monotheism) to your Lord and submit to Him, (in Islâm), before the torment comes upon you, (and) then you will not be helped.
[55] وَاتَّبِعوا أَحسَنَ ما أُنزِلَ إِلَيكُم مِن رَبِّكُم مِن قَبلِ أَن يَأتِيَكُمُ العَذابُ بَغتَةً وَأَنتُم لا تَشعُرونَ
[55] তোমাদের প্রতি অবতীর্ণ উত্তম বিষয়ের অনুসরণ কর তোমাদের কাছে অতর্কিতে ও অজ্ঞাতসারে আযাব আসার পূর্বে,
[55] "And follow the best of that which is sent down to you from your Lord (i.e. this Qur'ân, do what it orders you to do and keep away from what it forbids), before the torment comes on you suddenly while you perceive not!"
[56] أَن تَقولَ نَفسٌ يٰحَسرَتىٰ عَلىٰ ما فَرَّطتُ فى جَنبِ اللَّهِ وَإِن كُنتُ لَمِنَ السّٰخِرينَ
[56] যাতে কেউ না বলে, হায়, হায়, আল্লাহ সকাশে আমি কর্তব্যে অবহেলা করেছি এবং আমি ঠাট্টা-বিদ্রুপকারীদের অন্তর্ভূক্ত ছিলাম।
[56] Lest a person should say: "Alas, my grief that I was undutiful to Allâh (i.e. I have not done what Allâh has ordered me to do), and I was indeed among those who mocked [at the truth! i.e. Lâ ilâha illallâh (none has the right to be worshipped but Allâh), the Qur'ân, and Muhammad SAW and at the faithful believers]
[57] أَو تَقولَ لَو أَنَّ اللَّهَ هَدىٰنى لَكُنتُ مِنَ المُتَّقينَ
[57] অথবা না বলে, আল্লাহ যদি আমাকে পথপ্রদর্শন করতেন, তবে অবশ্যই আমি পরহেযগারদের একজন হতাম।
[57] Or (lest) he should say: "If only Allâh had guided me, I should indeed have been among the Muttaqûn (pious and righteous persons - see V.2:2)."
[58] أَو تَقولَ حينَ تَرَى العَذابَ لَو أَنَّ لى كَرَّةً فَأَكونَ مِنَ المُحسِنينَ
[58] অথবা আযাব প্রত্যক্ষ করার সময় না বলে, যদি কোনরূপে একবার ফিরে যেতে পারি, তবে আমি সৎকর্মপরায়ণ হয়ে যাব।
[58] Or (lest) he should say when he sees the torment: "If only I had another chance (to return to the world) then I should indeed be among the Muhsinûn (good-doers - see V.2:112)."
[59] بَلىٰ قَد جاءَتكَ ءايٰتى فَكَذَّبتَ بِها وَاستَكبَرتَ وَكُنتَ مِنَ الكٰفِرينَ
[59] হাঁ, তোমার কাছে আমার নির্দেশ এসেছিল; অতঃপর তুমি তাকে মিথ্যা বলেছিলে, অহংকার করেছিলে এবং কাফেরদের অন্তর্ভূক্ত হয়ে গিয়েছিলে।
[59] Yes! Verily, there came to you My Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) and you denied them, and were proud and were among the disbelievers.
[60] وَيَومَ القِيٰمَةِ تَرَى الَّذينَ كَذَبوا عَلَى اللَّهِ وُجوهُهُم مُسوَدَّةٌ ۚ أَلَيسَ فى جَهَنَّمَ مَثوًى لِلمُتَكَبِّرينَ
[60] যারা আল্লাহর প্রতি মিথ্যা আরোপ করে, কেয়ামতের দিন আপনি তাদের মুখ কাল দেখবেন। অহংকারীদের আবাসস্থল জাহান্নামে নয় কি?
[60] And on the Day of Resurrection you will see those who lied against Allâh (i.e. attributed to Him sons, partners) — their faces will be black. Is there not in Hell an abode for the arrogant?
[61] وَيُنَجِّى اللَّهُ الَّذينَ اتَّقَوا بِمَفازَتِهِم لا يَمَسُّهُمُ السّوءُ وَلا هُم يَحزَنونَ
[61] আর যারা শিরক থেকে বেঁচে থাকত, আল্লাহ তাদেরকে সাফল্যের সাথে মুক্তি দেবেন, তাদেরকে অনিষ্ট স্পর্শ করবে না এবং তারা চিন্তিতও হবে না।
[61] And Allâh will deliver those who are the Muttaqûn (pious - see V.2:2) to their places of success (Paradise). Evil shall touch them not, nor shall they grieve.
[62] اللَّهُ خٰلِقُ كُلِّ شَيءٍ ۖ وَهُوَ عَلىٰ كُلِّ شَيءٍ وَكيلٌ
[62] আল্লাহ সর্বকিছুর স্রষ্টা এবং তিনি সবকিছুর দায়িত্ব গ্রহণ করেন।
[62] Allâh is the Creator of all things, and He is the Wakîl (Trustee, Disposer of affairs, Guardian) over all things.
[63] لَهُ مَقاليدُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضِ ۗ وَالَّذينَ كَفَروا بِـٔايٰتِ اللَّهِ أُولٰئِكَ هُمُ الخٰسِرونَ
[63] আসমান ও যমীনের চাবি তাঁরই নিকট। যারা আল্লাহর আয়াতসমূহকে অস্বীকার করে, তারাই ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত।
[63] To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth. And those who disbelieve in the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allâh, such are they who will be the losers.
[64] قُل أَفَغَيرَ اللَّهِ تَأمُرونّى أَعبُدُ أَيُّهَا الجٰهِلونَ
[64] বলুন, হে মুর্খরা, তোমরা কি আমাকে আল্লাহ ব্যতীত অন্যের এবাদত করতে আদেশ করছ?
[64] Say (O Muhammad SAW to the polytheists): "Do you order me to worship other than Allâh? O you fools!"
[65] وَلَقَد أوحِىَ إِلَيكَ وَإِلَى الَّذينَ مِن قَبلِكَ لَئِن أَشرَكتَ لَيَحبَطَنَّ عَمَلُكَ وَلَتَكونَنَّ مِنَ الخٰسِرينَ
[65] আপনার প্রতি এবং আপনার পূর্ববর্তীদের পতি প্রত্যাদেশ হয়েছে, যদি আল্লাহর শরীক স্থির করেন, তবে আপনার কর্ম নিষ্ফল হবে এবং আপনি ক্ষতিগ্রস্তদের একজন হবেন।
[65] And indeed it has been revealed to you (O Muhammad SAW), as it was to those (Allâh's Messengers) before you: "If you join others in worship with Allâh, (then) surely (all) your deeds will be in vain, and you will certainly be among the losers."
[66] بَلِ اللَّهَ فَاعبُد وَكُن مِنَ الشّٰكِرينَ
[66] বরং আল্লাহরই এবাদত করুন এবং কৃতজ্ঞদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত থাকুন।
[66] Nay! But worship Allâh (Alone and none else), and be among the grateful.
[67] وَما قَدَرُوا اللَّهَ حَقَّ قَدرِهِ وَالأَرضُ جَميعًا قَبضَتُهُ يَومَ القِيٰمَةِ وَالسَّمٰوٰتُ مَطوِيّٰتٌ بِيَمينِهِ ۚ سُبحٰنَهُ وَتَعٰلىٰ عَمّا يُشرِكونَ
[67] তারা আল্লাহকে যথার্থরূপে বোঝেনি। কেয়ামতের দিন গোটা পৃথিবী থাকবে তাঁর হাতের মুঠোতে এবং আসমান সমূহ ভাঁজ করা অবস্থায় থাকবে তাঁর ডান হাতে। তিনি পবিত্র। আর এরা যাকে শরীক করে, তা থেকে তিনি অনেক উর্ধ্বে।
[67] They made not a just estimate of Allâh such as is due to Him. And on the Day of Resurrection the whole of the earth will be grasped by His Hand and the heavens will be rolled up in His Right Hand. Glorified is He, and High is He above all that they associate as partners with Him!
[68] وَنُفِخَ فِى الصّورِ فَصَعِقَ مَن فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَن فِى الأَرضِ إِلّا مَن شاءَ اللَّهُ ۖ ثُمَّ نُفِخَ فيهِ أُخرىٰ فَإِذا هُم قِيامٌ يَنظُرونَ
[68] শিংগায় ফুঁক দেয়া হবে, ফলে আসমান ও যমীনে যারা আছে সবাই বেহুঁশ হয়ে যাবে, তবে আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা করেন। অতঃপর আবার শিংগায় ফুঁক দেয়া হবে, তৎক্ষণাৎ তারা দন্ডায়মান হয়ে দেখতে থাকবে।
[68] And the Trumpet will be blown, and all who are in the heavens and all who are on the earth will swoon away, except him whom Allâh wills. Then it will blown a second time and behold, they will be standing, looking on (waiting).
[69] وَأَشرَقَتِ الأَرضُ بِنورِ رَبِّها وَوُضِعَ الكِتٰبُ وَجِا۟يءَ بِالنَّبِيّۦنَ وَالشُّهَداءِ وَقُضِىَ بَينَهُم بِالحَقِّ وَهُم لا يُظلَمونَ
[69] পৃথিবী তার পালনকর্তার নূরে উদ্ভাসিত হবে, আমলনামা স্থাপন করা হবে, পয়গম্বরগণ ও সাক্ষীগণকে আনা হবে এবং সকলের মধ্যে ন্যায় বিচার করা হবে-তাদের প্রতি জুলুম করা হবে না।
[69] And the earth will shine with the light of its Lord (Allâh, when He will come to judge among men) and the Book will be placed (open) and the Prophets and the witnesses will be brought forward, and it will be judged between them with truth, and they will not be wronged.
[70] وَوُفِّيَت كُلُّ نَفسٍ ما عَمِلَت وَهُوَ أَعلَمُ بِما يَفعَلونَ
[70] প্রত্যেকে যা করেছে, তার পূর্ণ প্রতিফল দেয়া হবে। তারা যা কিছু করে, সে সম্পর্কে আল্লাহ সম্যক অবগত।
[70] And each person will be paid in full of what he did; and He is Best Aware of what they do.
[71] وَسيقَ الَّذينَ كَفَروا إِلىٰ جَهَنَّمَ زُمَرًا ۖ حَتّىٰ إِذا جاءوها فُتِحَت أَبوٰبُها وَقالَ لَهُم خَزَنَتُها أَلَم يَأتِكُم رُسُلٌ مِنكُم يَتلونَ عَلَيكُم ءايٰتِ رَبِّكُم وَيُنذِرونَكُم لِقاءَ يَومِكُم هٰذا ۚ قالوا بَلىٰ وَلٰكِن حَقَّت كَلِمَةُ العَذابِ عَلَى الكٰفِرينَ
[71] কাফেরদেরকে জাহান্নামের দিকে দলে দলে হাঁকিয়ে নেয়া হবে। তারা যখন সেখানে পৌছাবে, তখন তার দরজাসমূহ খুলে দেয়া হবে এবং জাহান্নামের রক্ষীরা তাদেরকে বলবে, তোমাদের কাছে কি তোমাদের মধ্য থেকে পয়গম্বর আসেনি, যারা তোমাদের কাছে তোমাদের পালনকর্তার আয়াতসমূহ আবৃত্তি করত এবং সতর্ক করত এ দিনের সাক্ষাতের ব্যাপারে? তারা বলবে, হঁ্যা, কিন্তু কাফেরদের প্রতি শাস্তির হুকুমই বাস্তবায়িত হয়েছে।
[71] And those who disbelieved will be driven to Hell in groups, till, when they reach it, the gates thereof will be opened (suddenly like a prison at the arrival of the prisoners). And its keepers will say, "Did not the Messengers come to you from yourselves, reciting to you the Verses of your Lord, and warning you of the Meeting of this Day of yours?" They will say: "Yes, but the Word of torment has been justified against the disbelievers!"
[72] قيلَ ادخُلوا أَبوٰبَ جَهَنَّمَ خٰلِدينَ فيها ۖ فَبِئسَ مَثوَى المُتَكَبِّرينَ
[72] বলা হবে, তোমরা জাহান্নামের দরজা দিয়ে প্রবেশ কর, সেখানে চিরকাল অবস্থানের জন্যে। কত নিকৃষ্ট অহংকারীদের আবাসস্থল।
[72] It will be said (to them): "Enter you the gates of Hell, to abide therein. And (indeed) what an evil abode of the arrogant!"
[73] وَسيقَ الَّذينَ اتَّقَوا رَبَّهُم إِلَى الجَنَّةِ زُمَرًا ۖ حَتّىٰ إِذا جاءوها وَفُتِحَت أَبوٰبُها وَقالَ لَهُم خَزَنَتُها سَلٰمٌ عَلَيكُم طِبتُم فَادخُلوها خٰلِدينَ
[73] যারা তাদের পালনকর্তাকে ভয় করত তাদেরকে দলে দলে জান্নাতের দিকে নিয়ে যাওয়া হবে। যখন তারা উম্মুক্ত দরজা দিয়ে জান্নাতে পৌছাবে এবং জান্নাতের রক্ষীরা তাদেরকে বলবে, তোমাদের প্রতি সালাম, তোমরা সুখে থাক, অতঃপর সদাসর্বদা বসবাসের জন্যে তোমরা জান্নাতে প্রবেশ কর।
[73] And those who kept their duty to their Lord will be led to Paradise in groups, till, when they reach it, and its gates will be opened (before their arrival for their reception) and its keepers will say: Salâmun 'Alaikum (peace be upon you)! You have done well, so enter here to abide therein."
[74] وَقالُوا الحَمدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذى صَدَقَنا وَعدَهُ وَأَورَثَنَا الأَرضَ نَتَبَوَّأُ مِنَ الجَنَّةِ حَيثُ نَشاءُ ۖ فَنِعمَ أَجرُ العٰمِلينَ
[74] তারা বলবে, সমস্ত প্রশংসা আল্লাহর, যিনি আমাদের প্রতি তাঁর ওয়াদা পূর্ণ করেছেন এবং আমাদেরকে এ ভূমির উত্তরাধিকারী করেছেন। আমরা জান্নাতের যেখানে ইচ্ছা বসবাস করব। মেহনতকারীদের পুরস্কার কতই চমৎকার।
[74] And they will say: "All the praises and thanks are to Allâh Who has fulfilled His Promise to us and has made us inherit (this) land. We can dwell in Paradise where we will; how excellent a reward for the (pious good) workers!"
[75] وَتَرَى المَلٰئِكَةَ حافّينَ مِن حَولِ العَرشِ يُسَبِّحونَ بِحَمدِ رَبِّهِم ۖ وَقُضِىَ بَينَهُم بِالحَقِّ وَقيلَ الحَمدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ العٰلَمينَ
[75] আপনি ফেরেশতাগণকে দেখবেন, তারা আরশের চার পাশ ঘিরে তাদের পালনকর্তার পবিত্রতা ঘোষনা করছে। তাদের সবার মাঝে ন্যায় বিচার করা হবে। বলা হবে, সমস্ত প্রশংসা বিশ্বপালক আল্লাহর।
[75] And you will see the angels surrounding the Throne (of Allâh) from all round, glorifying the praises of their Lord (Allâh). And they (all the creatures) will be judged with truth, and it will be said. All the praises and thanks are to Allâh, the Lord of the 'Alamîn (mankind, jinn and all that exists)."
[1] تَنزيلُ الكِتٰبِ مِنَ اللَّهِ العَزيزِ الحَكيمِ
[1] কিতাব অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে পরাক্রমশালী, প্রজ্ঞাময় আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে।
[1] The revelation of this Book (the Qur'ân) is from Allâh, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
[2] إِنّا أَنزَلنا إِلَيكَ الكِتٰبَ بِالحَقِّ فَاعبُدِ اللَّهَ مُخلِصًا لَهُ الدّينَ
[2] আমি আপনার প্রতি এ কিতাব যথার্থরূপে নাযিল করেছি। অতএব, আপনি নিষ্ঠার সাথে আল্লাহর এবাদত করুন।
[2] Verily, We have sent down the Book to you (O Muhammad SAW) in truth: So worship Allâh (Alone) by doing religious deeds sincerely for Allâh's sake only.
[3] أَلا لِلَّهِ الدّينُ الخالِصُ ۚ وَالَّذينَ اتَّخَذوا مِن دونِهِ أَولِياءَ ما نَعبُدُهُم إِلّا لِيُقَرِّبونا إِلَى اللَّهِ زُلفىٰ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَحكُمُ بَينَهُم فى ما هُم فيهِ يَختَلِفونَ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لا يَهدى مَن هُوَ كٰذِبٌ كَفّارٌ
[3] জেনে রাখুন, নিষ্ঠাপূর্ণ এবাদত আল্লাহরই নিমিত্ত। যারা আল্লাহ ব্যতীত অপরকে উপাস্যরূপে গ্রহণ করে রেখেছে এবং বলে যে, আমরা তাদের এবাদত এ জন্যেই করি, যেন তারা আমাদেরকে আল্লাহর নিকটবর্তী করে দেয়। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তাদের মধ্যে তাদের পারস্পরিক বিরোধপূর্ণ বিষয়ের ফয়সালা করে দেবেন। আল্লাহ মিথ্যাবাদী কাফেরকে সৎপথে পরিচালিত করেন না।
[3] Surely, the religion (i.e. the worship and the obedience) is for Allâh only. And those who take Auliyâ' (protectors, helpers, lords, gods) besides Him (say): "We worship them only that they may bring us near to Allâh." Verily, Allâh will judge between them concerning that wherein they differ. Truly, Allâh guides not him who is a liar, and a disbeliever.
[4] لَو أَرادَ اللَّهُ أَن يَتَّخِذَ وَلَدًا لَاصطَفىٰ مِمّا يَخلُقُ ما يَشاءُ ۚ سُبحٰنَهُ ۖ هُوَ اللَّهُ الوٰحِدُ القَهّارُ
[4] আল্লাহ যদি সন্তান গ্রহণ করার ইচ্ছা করতেন, তবে তাঁর সৃষ্টির মধ্য থেকে যা কিছু ইচ্ছা মনোনীত করতেন, তিনি পবিত্র। তিনি আল্লাহ, এক পরাক্রমশালী।
[4] Had Allâh willed to take a son (or offspring), He could have chosen whom He willed out of those whom He created. But glory is to Him! (He is above such things). He is Allâh, the One, the Irresistible.
[5] خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضَ بِالحَقِّ ۖ يُكَوِّرُ الَّيلَ عَلَى النَّهارِ وَيُكَوِّرُ النَّهارَ عَلَى الَّيلِ ۖ وَسَخَّرَ الشَّمسَ وَالقَمَرَ ۖ كُلٌّ يَجرى لِأَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى ۗ أَلا هُوَ العَزيزُ الغَفّٰرُ
[5] তিনি আসমান ও যমীন সৃষ্টি করেছেন যথাযথভাবে। তিনি রাত্রিকে দিবস দ্বারা আচ্ছাদিত করেন এবং দিবসকে রাত্রি দ্বারা আচ্ছাদিত করেন এবং তিনি সুর্য ও চন্দ্রকে কাজে নিযুক্ত করেছেন প্রত্যেকেই বিচরণ করে নির্দিষ্ট সময়কাল পর্যন্ত। জেনে রাখুন, তিনি পরাক্রমশালী, ক্ষমাশীল।
[5] He has created the heavens and the earth with truth. He makes the night to go in the day and makes the day to go in the night. And He has subjected the sun and the moon. Each running (on a fixed course) for an appointed term. Verily, He is the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving.
[6] خَلَقَكُم مِن نَفسٍ وٰحِدَةٍ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِنها زَوجَها وَأَنزَلَ لَكُم مِنَ الأَنعٰمِ ثَمٰنِيَةَ أَزوٰجٍ ۚ يَخلُقُكُم فى بُطونِ أُمَّهٰتِكُم خَلقًا مِن بَعدِ خَلقٍ فى ظُلُمٰتٍ ثَلٰثٍ ۚ ذٰلِكُمُ اللَّهُ رَبُّكُم لَهُ المُلكُ ۖ لا إِلٰهَ إِلّا هُوَ ۖ فَأَنّىٰ تُصرَفونَ
[6] তিনি সৃষ্টি করেছেন তোমাদেরকে একই ব্যক্তি থেকে। অতঃপর তা থেকে তার যুগল সৃষ্টি করেছেন এবং তিনি তোমাদের জন্যে আট প্রকার চতুষ্পদ জন্তু অবতীর্ণ করেছেন। তিনি তোমাদেরকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন তোমাদের মাতৃগর্ভে পর্যায়ক্রমে একের পর এক ত্রিবিধ অন্ধকারে। তিনি আল্লাহ তোমাদের পালনকর্তা, সাম্রাজ্য তাঁরই। তিনি ব্যতীত কোন উপাস্য নেই। অতএব, তোমরা কোথায় বিভ্রান্ত হচ্ছ?
[6] He created you (all) from a single person (Adam); then made from him his wife [Hawwa' (Eve)]. And He has sent down for you of cattle eight pairs (of the sheep, two, male and female; of the goats, two, male and female; of the oxen, two, male and female; and of the camels, two, male and female). He creates you in the wombs of your mothers, creation after creation in three veils of darkness, such is Allâh your Lord. His is the kingdom, Lâ ilâha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He). How then are you turned away?
[7] إِن تَكفُروا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَنِىٌّ عَنكُم ۖ وَلا يَرضىٰ لِعِبادِهِ الكُفرَ ۖ وَإِن تَشكُروا يَرضَهُ لَكُم ۗ وَلا تَزِرُ وازِرَةٌ وِزرَ أُخرىٰ ۗ ثُمَّ إِلىٰ رَبِّكُم مَرجِعُكُم فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِما كُنتُم تَعمَلونَ ۚ إِنَّهُ عَليمٌ بِذاتِ الصُّدورِ
[7] যদি তোমরা অস্বীকার কর, তবে আল্লাহ তোমাদের থেকে বেপরওয়া। তিনি তাঁর বান্দাদের কাফের হয়ে পড়া পছন্দ করেন না। পক্ষান্তরে যদি তোমরা কৃতজ্ঞ হও, তবে তিনি তোমাদের জন্যে তা পছন্দ করেন। একের পাপ ভার অন্যে বহন করবে না। অতঃপর তোমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তার কাছে ফিরে যাবে। তিনি তোমাদেরকে তোমাদের কর্ম সম্বন্ধে অবহিত করবেন। নিশ্চয় তিনি অন্তরের বিষয় সম্পর্কেও অবগত।
[7] If you disbelieve, then verily, Allâh is not in need of you, He likes not disbelief for His slaves. And if you are grateful (by being believers), He is pleased therewith for you. No bearer of burdens shall bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return, and He will inform you what you used to do. Verily, He is the All-Knower of that which is in (men's) breasts.
[8] ۞ وَإِذا مَسَّ الإِنسٰنَ ضُرٌّ دَعا رَبَّهُ مُنيبًا إِلَيهِ ثُمَّ إِذا خَوَّلَهُ نِعمَةً مِنهُ نَسِىَ ما كانَ يَدعوا إِلَيهِ مِن قَبلُ وَجَعَلَ لِلَّهِ أَندادًا لِيُضِلَّ عَن سَبيلِهِ ۚ قُل تَمَتَّع بِكُفرِكَ قَليلًا ۖ إِنَّكَ مِن أَصحٰبِ النّارِ
[8] যখন মানুষকে দুঃখ-কষ্ট স্পর্শ করে, তখন সে একাগ্রচিত্তে তার পালনকর্তাকে ডাকে, অতঃপর তিনি যখন তাকে নেয়ামত দান করেন, তখন সে কষ্টের কথা বিস্মৃত হয়ে যায়, যার জন্যে পূর্বে ডেকেছিল এবং আল্লাহর সমকক্ষ স্থির করে; যাতে করে অপরকে আল্লাহর পথ থেকে বিভ্রান্ত করে। বলুন, তুমি তোমার কুফর সহকারে কিছুকাল জীবনোপভোগ করে নাও। নিশ্চয় তুমি জাহান্নামীদের অন্তর্ভূক্ত।
[8] And when some hurt touches man, he cries to his Lord (Allâh Alone), turning to Him in repentance, but when He bestows a favour upon him from Himself, he forgets that for which he cried for before, and he sets up rivals to Allâh, in order to mislead others from His Path. Say: "Take pleasure in your disbelief for a while: surely, you are (one) of the dwellers of the Fire!"
[9] أَمَّن هُوَ قٰنِتٌ ءاناءَ الَّيلِ ساجِدًا وَقائِمًا يَحذَرُ الءاخِرَةَ وَيَرجوا رَحمَةَ رَبِّهِ ۗ قُل هَل يَستَوِى الَّذينَ يَعلَمونَ وَالَّذينَ لا يَعلَمونَ ۗ إِنَّما يَتَذَكَّرُ أُولُوا الأَلبٰبِ
[9] যে ব্যক্তি রাত্রিকালে সেজদার মাধ্যমে অথবা দাঁড়িয়ে এবাদত করে, পরকালের আশংকা রাখে এবং তার পালনকর্তার রহমত প্রত্যাশা করে, সে কি তার সমান, যে এরূপ করে না; বলুন, যারা জানে এবং যারা জানে না; তারা কি সমান হতে পারে? চিন্তা-ভাবনা কেবল তারাই করে, যারা বুদ্ধিমান।
[9] Is one who is obedient to Allâh, prostrating himself or standing (in prayer) during the hours of the night, fearing the Hereafter and hoping for the Mercy of his Lord (like one who disbelieves)? Say: "Are those who know equal to those who know not?" It is only men of understanding who will remember (i.e. get a lesson from Allâh's Signs and Verses).
[10] قُل يٰعِبادِ الَّذينَ ءامَنُوا اتَّقوا رَبَّكُم ۚ لِلَّذينَ أَحسَنوا فى هٰذِهِ الدُّنيا حَسَنَةٌ ۗ وَأَرضُ اللَّهِ وٰسِعَةٌ ۗ إِنَّما يُوَفَّى الصّٰبِرونَ أَجرَهُم بِغَيرِ حِسابٍ
[10] বলুন, হে আমার বিশ্বাসী বান্দাগণ! তোমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তাকে ভয় কর। যারা এ দুনিয়াতে সৎকাজ করে, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে পুণ্য। আল্লাহর পৃথিবী প্রশস্ত। যারা সবরকারী, তারাই তাদের পুরস্কার পায় অগণিত।
[10] Say (O Muhammad SAW): "O My slaves who believe (in the Oneness of Allâh Islâmic — Monotheism), be afraid of your Lord (Allâh) and keep your duty to Him. Good is (the reward) for those who do good in this world, and Allâh's earth is spacious (so if you cannot worship Allâh at a place, then go to another)! Only those who are patient shall receive their reward in full, without reckoning."
[11] قُل إِنّى أُمِرتُ أَن أَعبُدَ اللَّهَ مُخلِصًا لَهُ الدّينَ
[11] বলুন, আমি নিষ্ঠার সাথে আল্লাহর এবাদত করতে আদিষ্ট হয়েছি।
[11] Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Verily, I am commanded to worship Allâh (Alone) by obeying Him and doing religious deeds sincerely for His sake only.
[12] وَأُمِرتُ لِأَن أَكونَ أَوَّلَ المُسلِمينَ
[12] আরও আদিষ্ট হয়েছি, সর্ব প্রথম নির্দেশ পালনকারী হওয়ার জন্যে।
[12] "And I am commanded (this) in order that I may be the first of those who submit themselves to Allâh (in Islâm) as Muslims."
[13] قُل إِنّى أَخافُ إِن عَصَيتُ رَبّى عَذابَ يَومٍ عَظيمٍ
[13] বলুন, আমি আমার পালনকর্তার অবাধ্য হলে এক মহাদিবসের শাস্তির ভয় করি।
[13] Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Verily, if I disobey my Lord, I am afraid of the torment of a great Day."
[14] قُلِ اللَّهَ أَعبُدُ مُخلِصًا لَهُ دينى
[14] বলুন, আমি নিষ্ঠার সাথে আল্লাহ তা’আলারই এবাদত করি।
[14] Say (O Muhammad SAW) "Allâh Alone I worship by doing religious deeds sincerely for His sake only (and not to show off, and not to set up rivals with Him in worship)."
[15] فَاعبُدوا ما شِئتُم مِن دونِهِ ۗ قُل إِنَّ الخٰسِرينَ الَّذينَ خَسِروا أَنفُسَهُم وَأَهليهِم يَومَ القِيٰمَةِ ۗ أَلا ذٰلِكَ هُوَ الخُسرانُ المُبينُ
[15] অতএব, তোমরা আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে যার ইচ্ছা তার এবাদত কর। বলুন, কেয়ামতের দিন তারাই বেশী ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হবে, যারা নিজেদের ও পরিবারবর্গের তরফ থেকে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হবে। জেনে রাখ, এটাই সুস্পষ্ট ক্ষতি।
[15] So worship what you like besides Him. Say (O Muhammad SAW): "The losers are those who will lose themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection. Verily, that will be a manifest loss!"
[16] لَهُم مِن فَوقِهِم ظُلَلٌ مِنَ النّارِ وَمِن تَحتِهِم ظُلَلٌ ۚ ذٰلِكَ يُخَوِّفُ اللَّهُ بِهِ عِبادَهُ ۚ يٰعِبادِ فَاتَّقونِ
[16] তাদের জন্যে উপর দিক থেকে এবং নীচের দিক থেকে আগুনের মেঘমালা থাকবে। এ শাস্তি দ্বারা আল্লাহ তাঁর বান্দাদেরকে সতর্ক করেন যে, হে আমার বান্দাগণ, আমাকে ভয় কর।
[16] They shall have coverings of Fire, above them and covering (of Fire) beneath them; with this Allâh does frighten His slaves: "O My slaves, therefore fear Me!"
[17] وَالَّذينَ اجتَنَبُوا الطّٰغوتَ أَن يَعبُدوها وَأَنابوا إِلَى اللَّهِ لَهُمُ البُشرىٰ ۚ فَبَشِّر عِبادِ
[17] যারা শয়তানী শক্তির পূজা-অর্চনা থেকে দূরে থাকে এবং আল্লাহ অভিমুখী হয়, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে সুসংবাদ। অতএব, সুসংবাদ দিন আমার বান্দাদেরকে।
[17] Those who avoid At-Tâghût (false deities) by not worshipping them and turn to Allâh (in repentance), for them are glad tidings; so announce the good news to My slaves,—
[18] الَّذينَ يَستَمِعونَ القَولَ فَيَتَّبِعونَ أَحسَنَهُ ۚ أُولٰئِكَ الَّذينَ هَدىٰهُمُ اللَّهُ ۖ وَأُولٰئِكَ هُم أُولُوا الأَلبٰبِ
[18] যারা মনোনিবেশ সহকারে কথা শুনে, অতঃপর যা উত্তম, তার অনুসরণ করে। তাদেরকেই আল্লাহ সৎপথ প্রদর্শন করেন এবং তারাই বুদ্ধিমান।
[18] Those who listen to the Word [good advice Lâ ilâha ill-allâh — (none has the right to be worshipped but Allâh) and Islâmic Monotheism] and follow the best thereof (i.e. worship Allâh Alone, repent to Him and avoid Tâghût) those are (the ones) whom Allâh has guided and those are men of understanding.
[19] أَفَمَن حَقَّ عَلَيهِ كَلِمَةُ العَذابِ أَفَأَنتَ تُنقِذُ مَن فِى النّارِ
[19] যার জন্যে শাস্তির হুকুম অবধারিত হয়ে গেছে আপনি কি সে জাহান্নামীকে মুক্ত করতে পারবেন?
[19] Is, then one against whom the Word of punishment is justified (equal to the one who avoids evil)? Will you (O Muhammad SAW) rescue him who is in the Fire?
[20] لٰكِنِ الَّذينَ اتَّقَوا رَبَّهُم لَهُم غُرَفٌ مِن فَوقِها غُرَفٌ مَبنِيَّةٌ تَجرى مِن تَحتِهَا الأَنهٰرُ ۖ وَعدَ اللَّهِ ۖ لا يُخلِفُ اللَّهُ الميعادَ
[20] কিন্তু যারা তাদের পালনকর্তাকে ভয় করে, তাদের জন্যে নির্মিত রয়েছে প্রাসাদের উপর প্রাসাদ। এগুলোর তলদেশে নদী প্রবাহিত। আল্লাহ প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়েছেন। আল্লাহ প্রতিশ্রুতির খেলাফ করেন না।
[20] But those who fear their Lord (Allâh) and keep their duty to Him, for them are built lofty rooms; one above another under which rivers flow (i.e. Paradise). (This is) the Promise of Allâh: and Allâh does not fail in (His) Promise.
[21] أَلَم تَرَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ أَنزَلَ مِنَ السَّماءِ ماءً فَسَلَكَهُ يَنٰبيعَ فِى الأَرضِ ثُمَّ يُخرِجُ بِهِ زَرعًا مُختَلِفًا أَلوٰنُهُ ثُمَّ يَهيجُ فَتَرىٰهُ مُصفَرًّا ثُمَّ يَجعَلُهُ حُطٰمًا ۚ إِنَّ فى ذٰلِكَ لَذِكرىٰ لِأُولِى الأَلبٰبِ
[21] তুমি কি দেখনি যে, আল্লাহ আকাশ থেকে পানি বর্ষণ করেছেন, অতঃপর সে পানি যমীনের ঝর্ণাসমূহে প্রবাহিত করেছেন, এরপর তদ্দ্বারা বিভিন্ন রঙের ফসল উৎপন্ন করেন, অতঃপর তা শুকিয়ে যায়, ফলে তোমরা তা পীতবর্ণ দেখতে পাও। এরপর আল্লাহ তাকে খড়-কুটায় পরিণত করে দেন। নিশ্চয় এতে বুদ্ধিমানদের জন্যে উপদেশ রয়েছে।
[21] See you not, that Allâh sends down water (rain) from the sky, and causes it to penetrate the earth, (and then makes it to spring up) as water-springs and afterward thereby produces crops of different colours, and afterward they wither and you see them turn yellow, then He makes them dry and broken pieces. Verily, in this, is a Reminder for men of understanding.
[22] أَفَمَن شَرَحَ اللَّهُ صَدرَهُ لِلإِسلٰمِ فَهُوَ عَلىٰ نورٍ مِن رَبِّهِ ۚ فَوَيلٌ لِلقٰسِيَةِ قُلوبُهُم مِن ذِكرِ اللَّهِ ۚ أُولٰئِكَ فى ضَلٰلٍ مُبينٍ
[22] আল্লাহ যার বক্ষ ইসলামের জন্যে উম্মুক্ত করে দিয়েছেন, অতঃপর সে তার পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে আগত আলোর মাঝে রয়েছে। (সে কি তার সমান, যে এরূপ নয়) যাদের অন্তর আল্লাহ স্মরণের ব্যাপারে কঠোর, তাদের জন্যে দূর্ভোগ। তারা সুস্পষ্ঠ গোমরাহীতে রয়েছে।
[22] Is he whose breast Allâh has opened to Islâm, so that he is in light from His Lord (as he who is non-Muslim)? So, woe to those whose hearts are hardened against remembrance of Allâh! They are in plain error!
[23] اللَّهُ نَزَّلَ أَحسَنَ الحَديثِ كِتٰبًا مُتَشٰبِهًا مَثانِىَ تَقشَعِرُّ مِنهُ جُلودُ الَّذينَ يَخشَونَ رَبَّهُم ثُمَّ تَلينُ جُلودُهُم وَقُلوبُهُم إِلىٰ ذِكرِ اللَّهِ ۚ ذٰلِكَ هُدَى اللَّهِ يَهدى بِهِ مَن يَشاءُ ۚ وَمَن يُضلِلِ اللَّهُ فَما لَهُ مِن هادٍ
[23] আল্লাহ উত্তম বাণী তথা কিতাব নাযিল করেছেন, যা সামঞ্জস্যপূর্ণ, পূনঃ পূনঃ পঠিত। এতে তাদের লোম কাঁটা দিয়ে উঠে চামড়ার উপর, যারা তাদের পালনকর্তাকে ভয় করে, এরপর তাদের চামড়া ও অন্তর আল্লাহর স্মরণে বিনম্র হয়। এটাই আল্লাহর পথ নির্দেশ, এর মাধ্যমে আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা পথ প্রদর্শন করেন। আর আল্লাহ যাকে গোমরাহ করেন, তার কোন পথপ্রদর্শক নেই।
[23] Allâh has sent down the Best statement, a Book (this Qur'ân), its parts resembling each other (in goodness and truth), and oft-repeated. The skins of those who fear their Lord shiver from it (when they recite it or hear it). Then their skin and their heart soften to the remembrance of Allâh. That is the guidance of Allâh. He Guides therewith whom He wills and whomever Allâh sends astray, for him there is no guide.
[24] أَفَمَن يَتَّقى بِوَجهِهِ سوءَ العَذابِ يَومَ القِيٰمَةِ ۚ وَقيلَ لِلظّٰلِمينَ ذوقوا ما كُنتُم تَكسِبونَ
[24] যে ব্যক্তি কেয়ামতের দিন তার মুখ দ্বারা অশুভ আযাব ঠেকাবে এবং এরূপ জালেমদেরকে বলা হবে, তোমরা যা করতে তার স্বাদ আস্বাদন কর,-সে কি তার সমান, যে এরূপ নয়?
[24] Is he then, who will confront with his face the awful torment on the Day of Resurrection (as he who enters peacefully in Paradise)? And it will be said to the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers): "Taste what you used to earn!"
[25] كَذَّبَ الَّذينَ مِن قَبلِهِم فَأَتىٰهُمُ العَذابُ مِن حَيثُ لا يَشعُرونَ
[25] তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরাও মিথ্যারোপ করেছিল, ফলে তাদের কাছে আযাব এমনভাবে আসল, যা তারা কল্পনাও করত না।
[25] Those before them belied, and so the torment came on them from directions they perceived not.
[26] فَأَذاقَهُمُ اللَّهُ الخِزىَ فِى الحَيوٰةِ الدُّنيا ۖ وَلَعَذابُ الءاخِرَةِ أَكبَرُ ۚ لَو كانوا يَعلَمونَ
[26] অতঃপর আল্লাহ তাদেরকে পার্থিব জীবনে লাঞ্ছনার স্বাদ আস্বাদন করালেন, আর পরকালের আযাব হবে আরও গুরুতর, যদি তারা জানত!
[26] So Allâh made them to taste the disgrace in the present life, but greater is the torment of the Hereafter if they only knew!
[27] وَلَقَد ضَرَبنا لِلنّاسِ فى هٰذَا القُرءانِ مِن كُلِّ مَثَلٍ لَعَلَّهُم يَتَذَكَّرونَ
[27] আমি এ কোরআনে মানুষের জন্যে সব দৃষ্টান্তই বর্ণনা করেছি, যাতে তারা অনুধাবন করে;
[27] And indeed We have put forth for men, in this Qur'ân every kind of similitude in order that they may remember.
[28] قُرءانًا عَرَبِيًّا غَيرَ ذى عِوَجٍ لَعَلَّهُم يَتَّقونَ
[28] আরবী ভাষায় এ কোরআন বক্রতামুক্ত, যাতে তারা সাবধান হয়ে চলে।
[28] An Arabic Qur'ân, without any crookedness (therein) in order that they may avoid all evil which Allâh has ordered them to avoid, fear Him and keep their duty to Him
[29] ضَرَبَ اللَّهُ مَثَلًا رَجُلًا فيهِ شُرَكاءُ مُتَشٰكِسونَ وَرَجُلًا سَلَمًا لِرَجُلٍ هَل يَستَوِيانِ مَثَلًا ۚ الحَمدُ لِلَّهِ ۚ بَل أَكثَرُهُم لا يَعلَمونَ
[29] আল্লাহ এক দৃষ্টান্ত বর্ণনা করেছেনঃ একটি লোকের উপর পরস্পর বিরোধী কয়জন মালিক রয়েছে, আরেক ব্যক্তির প্রভু মাত্র একজন-তাদের উভয়ের অবস্থা কি সমান? সমস্ত প্রশংসা আল্লাহর। কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই জানে না।
[29] Allâh puts forth a similitude: a (slave) man belonging to many partners (like those who worship others along with Allâh) disputing with one another, and a (slave) man belonging entirely to one master, (like those who worship Allâh Alone). Are those two equal in comparison? All the praises and thanks are to Allâh! But most of them know not.
[30] إِنَّكَ مَيِّتٌ وَإِنَّهُم مَيِّتونَ
[30] নিশ্চয় তোমারও মৃত্যু হবে এবং তাদেরও মৃত্যু হবে।
[30] Verily, you (O Muhammad SAW) will die and verily, they (too) will die.
[31] ثُمَّ إِنَّكُم يَومَ القِيٰمَةِ عِندَ رَبِّكُم تَختَصِمونَ
[31] অতঃপর কেয়ামতের দিন তোমরা সবাই তোমাদের পালনকর্তার সামনে কথা কাটাকাটি করবে।
[31] Then, on the Day of Resurrection, you will be disputing before your Lord.
[32] ۞ فَمَن أَظلَمُ مِمَّن كَذَبَ عَلَى اللَّهِ وَكَذَّبَ بِالصِّدقِ إِذ جاءَهُ ۚ أَلَيسَ فى جَهَنَّمَ مَثوًى لِلكٰفِرينَ
[32] যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহর বিরুদ্ধে মিথ্যা বলে এবং তার কাছে সত্য আগমন করার পর তাকে মিথ্যা সাব্যস্ত করে, তার চেয়ে অধিক যালেম আর কে হবে? কাফেরদের বাসস্থান জাহান্নামে নয় কি?
[32] Then, who does more wrong than one who utters a lie against Allâh, and denies the truth [this Qur'ân, the Prophet (Muhammad SAW), and the Islâmic Monotheism] when it comes to him! Is there not in Hell an abode for the disbelievers?
[33] وَالَّذى جاءَ بِالصِّدقِ وَصَدَّقَ بِهِ ۙ أُولٰئِكَ هُمُ المُتَّقونَ
[33] যারা সত্য নিয়ে আগমন করছে এবং সত্যকে সত্য মেনে নিয়েছে; তারাই তো খোদাভীরু।
[33] And he (Muhammad SAW) who has brought the truth (this Qur'ân and Islâmic Monotheism) and (those who) believed therein (i.e. the true believers of Islâmic Monotheism), those are Al- Muttaqûn (the pious and righteous persons - see V.2:2)
[34] لَهُم ما يَشاءونَ عِندَ رَبِّهِم ۚ ذٰلِكَ جَزاءُ المُحسِنينَ
[34] তাদের জন্যে পালনকর্তার কাছে তাই রয়েছে, যা তারা চাইবে। এটা সৎকর্মীদের পুরস্কার।
[34] They shall have all that they will desire with their Lord. That is the reward of Muhsinûn (good-doers - see the footnote of V.9:120)
[35] لِيُكَفِّرَ اللَّهُ عَنهُم أَسوَأَ الَّذى عَمِلوا وَيَجزِيَهُم أَجرَهُم بِأَحسَنِ الَّذى كانوا يَعمَلونَ
[35] যাতে আল্লাহ তাদের মন্দ কর্মসমূহ মার্জনা করেন এবং তাদের উত্তম কর্মের পুরস্কার তাদেরকে দান করেন।
[35] So that Allâh may expiate from them the evil of what they did and give them the reward, according to the best of what they used to do
[36] أَلَيسَ اللَّهُ بِكافٍ عَبدَهُ ۖ وَيُخَوِّفونَكَ بِالَّذينَ مِن دونِهِ ۚ وَمَن يُضلِلِ اللَّهُ فَما لَهُ مِن هادٍ
[36] আল্লাহ কি তাঁর বান্দার পক্ষে যথেষ্ট নন? অথচ তারা আপনাকে আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে অন্যান্য উপাস্যদের ভয় দেখায়। আল্লাহ যাকে গোমরাহ করেন, তার কোন পথপ্রদর্শক নেই।
[36] Is not Allâh Sufficient for His slave? Yet they try to frighten you with those (whom they worship) besides Him! And whom Allâh sends astray, for him there will be no guide.
[37] وَمَن يَهدِ اللَّهُ فَما لَهُ مِن مُضِلٍّ ۗ أَلَيسَ اللَّهُ بِعَزيزٍ ذِى انتِقامٍ
[37] আর আল্লাহ যাকে পথপ্রদর্শন করেন, তাকে পথভ্রষ্টকারী কেউ নেই। আল্লাহ কি পরাক্রমশালী, প্রতিশোধ গ্রহণকারী নন?
[37] And whomsoever Allâh guides, for him there will be no misleader. Is not Allâh All-Mighty, Possessor of Retribution?
[38] وَلَئِن سَأَلتَهُم مَن خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضَ لَيَقولُنَّ اللَّهُ ۚ قُل أَفَرَءَيتُم ما تَدعونَ مِن دونِ اللَّهِ إِن أَرادَنِىَ اللَّهُ بِضُرٍّ هَل هُنَّ كٰشِفٰتُ ضُرِّهِ أَو أَرادَنى بِرَحمَةٍ هَل هُنَّ مُمسِكٰتُ رَحمَتِهِ ۚ قُل حَسبِىَ اللَّهُ ۖ عَلَيهِ يَتَوَكَّلُ المُتَوَكِّلونَ
[38] যদি আপনি তাদেরকে জিজ্ঞেস করেন, আসমান ও যমীন কে সৃষ্টি করেছে? তারা অবশ্যই বলবে-আল্লাহ। বলুন, তোমরা ভেবে দেখেছ কি, যদি আল্লাহ আমার অনিষ্ট করার ইচ্ছা করেন, তবে তোমরা আল্লাহ ব্যতীত যাদেরকে ডাক, তারা কি সে অনিষ্ট দূর করতে পারবে? অথবা তিনি আমার প্রতি রহমত করার ইচ্ছা করলে তারা কি সে রহমত রোধ করতে পারবে? বলুন, আমার পক্ষে আল্লাহই যথেষ্ট। নির্ভরকারীরা তাঁরই উপর নির্ভর করে।
[38] And verily, if you ask them: "Who created the heavens and the earth?" Surely, they will say: "Allâh (has created them)." Say: "Tell me then, the things that you invoke besides Allâh, if Allâh intended some harm for me, could they remove His harm, or if He (Allâh) intended some mercy for me, could they withhold His Mercy?" Say : "Sufficient for me is Allâh; in Him those who trust (i.e. believers) must put their trust."
[39] قُل يٰقَومِ اعمَلوا عَلىٰ مَكانَتِكُم إِنّى عٰمِلٌ ۖ فَسَوفَ تَعلَمونَ
[39] বলুন, হে আমার কওম, তোমরা তোমাদের জায়গায় কাজ কর, আমিও কাজ করছি। সত্ত্বরই জানতে পারবে।
[39] Say: (O Muhammad SAW) "O My people! Work according to your way, I am working (according to my way). Then you will come to know,
[40] مَن يَأتيهِ عَذابٌ يُخزيهِ وَيَحِلُّ عَلَيهِ عَذابٌ مُقيمٌ
[40] কার কাছে অবমাননাকর আযাব এবং চিরস্থায়ী শাস্তি নেমে আসে।
[40] "To whom comes a disgracing torment, and on whom descends an everlasting torment."
[41] إِنّا أَنزَلنا عَلَيكَ الكِتٰبَ لِلنّاسِ بِالحَقِّ ۖ فَمَنِ اهتَدىٰ فَلِنَفسِهِ ۖ وَمَن ضَلَّ فَإِنَّما يَضِلُّ عَلَيها ۖ وَما أَنتَ عَلَيهِم بِوَكيلٍ
[41] আমি আপনার প্রতি সত্য ধর্মসহ কিতাব নাযিল করেছি মানুষের কল্যাণকল্পে। অতঃপর যে সৎপথে আসে, সে নিজের কল্যাণের জন্যেই আসে, আর যে পথভ্রষ্ট হয়, সে নিজেরই অনিষ্টের জন্যে পথভ্রষ্ট হয়। আপনি তাদের জন্যে দায়ী নন।
[41] Verily, We have sent down to you (O Muhammad SAW) the Book (this Qur'ân) for mankind in truth. So whosoever accepts the guidance, it is only for his ownself, and whosoever goes astray, he goes astray only for his (own) loss. And you (O Muhammad SAW) are not a Wakîl (trustee or disposer of affairs, or guardian) over them.
[42] اللَّهُ يَتَوَفَّى الأَنفُسَ حينَ مَوتِها وَالَّتى لَم تَمُت فى مَنامِها ۖ فَيُمسِكُ الَّتى قَضىٰ عَلَيهَا المَوتَ وَيُرسِلُ الأُخرىٰ إِلىٰ أَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى ۚ إِنَّ فى ذٰلِكَ لَءايٰتٍ لِقَومٍ يَتَفَكَّرونَ
[42] আল্লাহ মানুষের প্রাণ হরণ করেন তার মৃত্যুর সময়, আর যে মরে না, তার নিদ্রাকালে। অতঃপর যার মৃত্যু অবধারিত করেন, তার প্রাণ ছাড়েন না এবং অন্যান্যদের ছেড়ে দেন এক নির্দিষ্ট সময়ের জন্যে। নিশ্চয় এতে চিন্তাশীল লোকদের জন্যে নিদর্শনাবলী রয়েছে।
[42] It is Allâh Who takes away the souls at the time of their death, and those that die not during their sleep. He keeps those (souls) for which He has ordained death and sends the rest for a term appointed. Verily, in this are signs for a people who think deeply.
[43] أَمِ اتَّخَذوا مِن دونِ اللَّهِ شُفَعاءَ ۚ قُل أَوَلَو كانوا لا يَملِكونَ شَيـًٔا وَلا يَعقِلونَ
[43] তারা কি আল্লাহ ব্যতীত সুপারিশকারী গ্রহণ করেছে? বলুন, তাদের কোন এখতিয়ার না থাকলেও এবং তারা না বুঝলেও?
[43] Have they taken (others) as intercessors besides Allâh? Say: "Even if they have power over nothing whatever and have no intelligence?"
[44] قُل لِلَّهِ الشَّفٰعَةُ جَميعًا ۖ لَهُ مُلكُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضِ ۖ ثُمَّ إِلَيهِ تُرجَعونَ
[44] বলুন, সমস্ত সুপারিশ আল্লাহরই ক্ষমতাধীন, আসমান ও যমীনে তাঁরই সাম্রাজ্য। অতঃপর তাঁরই কাছে তোমরা প্রত্যাবর্তিত হবে।
[44] Say: "To Allâh belongs all intercession. His is the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth, Then to Him you shall be brought back."
[45] وَإِذا ذُكِرَ اللَّهُ وَحدَهُ اشمَأَزَّت قُلوبُ الَّذينَ لا يُؤمِنونَ بِالءاخِرَةِ ۖ وَإِذا ذُكِرَ الَّذينَ مِن دونِهِ إِذا هُم يَستَبشِرونَ
[45] যখন খাঁটিভাবে আল্লাহর নাম উচ্চারণ করা হয়, তখন যারা পরকালে বিশ্বাস করে না, তাদের অন্তর সংকুচিত হয়ে যায়, আর যখন আল্লাহ ব্যতীত অন্য উপাস্যদের নাম উচ্চারণ করা হয়, তখন তারা আনন্দে উল্লসিত হয়ে উঠে।
[45] And when Allâh Alone is mentioned, the hearts of those who believe not in the Hereafter are filled with disgust (from the Oneness of Allâh (<><>) and when those (whom they obey or worship) besides Him [like all false deities other than Allâh, it may be a Messenger, an angel, a pious man, a jinn, or any other creature even idols, graves of religious people, saints, priests, monks and others] are mentioned, behold, they rejoice!
[46] قُلِ اللَّهُمَّ فاطِرَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضِ عٰلِمَ الغَيبِ وَالشَّهٰدَةِ أَنتَ تَحكُمُ بَينَ عِبادِكَ فى ما كانوا فيهِ يَختَلِفونَ
[46] বলুন, হে আল্লাহ আসমান ও যমীনের স্রষ্টা, দৃশ্য ও অদৃশ্যের জ্ঞানী, আপনিই আপনার বান্দাদের মধ্যে ফয়সালা করবেন, যে বিষয়ে তারা মত বিরোধ করত।
[46] Say (O Muhammad SAW): "O Allâh! Creator of the heavens and the earth! All-Knower of the Ghaib (unseen) and the seen. You will judge between your slaves about that wherein they used to differ."
[47] وَلَو أَنَّ لِلَّذينَ ظَلَموا ما فِى الأَرضِ جَميعًا وَمِثلَهُ مَعَهُ لَافتَدَوا بِهِ مِن سوءِ العَذابِ يَومَ القِيٰمَةِ ۚ وَبَدا لَهُم مِنَ اللَّهِ ما لَم يَكونوا يَحتَسِبونَ
[47] যদি গোনাহগারদের কাছে পৃথিবীর সবকিছু থাকে এবং তার সাথে সমপরিমাণ আরও থাকে, তবে অবশ্যই তারা কেয়ামতের দিন সে সবকিছুই নিস্কৃতি পাওয়ার জন্যে মুক্তিপন হিসেবে দিয়ে দেবে। অথচ তারা দেখতে পাবে, আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে এমন শাস্তি, যা তারা কল্পনাও করত না।
[47] And those who did wrong (the polytheists and disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâh), if they had all that is in earth and therewith as much again, they verily, would offer it to ransom themselves therewith on the Day of Resurrection from the evil torment, and there will become apparent to them from Allâh, what they had not been reckoning
[48] وَبَدا لَهُم سَيِّـٔاتُ ما كَسَبوا وَحاقَ بِهِم ما كانوا بِهِ يَستَهزِءونَ
[48] আর দেখবে, তাদের দুস্কর্মসমূহ এবং যে বিষয়ে তারা ঠাট্টা-বিদ্রুপ করত, তা তাদেরকে ঘিরে নেবে।
[48] And the evils of that which they earned will become apparent to them, and that which they used to mock at will encircled them.
[49] فَإِذا مَسَّ الإِنسٰنَ ضُرٌّ دَعانا ثُمَّ إِذا خَوَّلنٰهُ نِعمَةً مِنّا قالَ إِنَّما أوتيتُهُ عَلىٰ عِلمٍ ۚ بَل هِىَ فِتنَةٌ وَلٰكِنَّ أَكثَرَهُم لا يَعلَمونَ
[49] মানুষকে যখন দুঃখ-কষ্ট স্পর্শ করে, তখন সে আমাকে ডাকতে শুরু করে, এরপর আমি যখন তাকে আমার পক্ষ থেকে নেয়ামত দান করি, তখন সে বলে, এটা তো আমি পূর্বের জানা মতেই প্রাপ্ত হয়েছি। অথচ এটা এক পরীক্ষা, কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই বোঝে না।
[49] When harm touches man, he calls to Us (for help), then when We have (rescued him from that harm and) changed it into a favour from Us, he says: "Only because of knowledge (that I possess) I obtained it." Nay, it is only a trial, but most of them know not!
[50] قَد قالَهَا الَّذينَ مِن قَبلِهِم فَما أَغنىٰ عَنهُم ما كانوا يَكسِبونَ
[50] তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরাও তাই বলত, অতঃপর তাদের কৃতকর্ম তাদের কোন উপকারে আসেনি।
[50] Verily, those before them said it, yet (all) that they had earned availed them not.
[51] فَأَصابَهُم سَيِّـٔاتُ ما كَسَبوا ۚ وَالَّذينَ ظَلَموا مِن هٰؤُلاءِ سَيُصيبُهُم سَيِّـٔاتُ ما كَسَبوا وَما هُم بِمُعجِزينَ
[51] তাদের দুস্কর্ম তাদেরকে বিপদে ফেলেছে, এদের মধ্যেও যারা পাপী, তাদেরকেও অতি সত্ত্বর তাদের দুস্কর্ম বিপদে ফেলবে। তারা তা প্রতিহত করতে সক্ষম হবে না।
[51] So, the evil results of that which they earned overtook them. And those who did wrong of these [people to whom you (Muhammad SAW) have been sent], will also be overtaken by the evil results (torment) for that which they earned, and they will never be able to escape.
[52] أَوَلَم يَعلَموا أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَبسُطُ الرِّزقَ لِمَن يَشاءُ وَيَقدِرُ ۚ إِنَّ فى ذٰلِكَ لَءايٰتٍ لِقَومٍ يُؤمِنونَ
[52] তারা কি জানেনি যে, আল্লাহ যার জন্যে ইচ্ছা রিযিক বৃদ্ধি করেন এবং পরিমিত দেন। নিশ্চয় এতে বিশ্বাসী সম্প্রদায়ের জন্যে নিদর্শনাবলী রয়েছে।
[52] Do they not know that Allâh enlarges the provision for whom He wills, and straitens it (for whom He wills). Verily, in this are signs for the folk who believe!
[53] ۞ قُل يٰعِبادِىَ الَّذينَ أَسرَفوا عَلىٰ أَنفُسِهِم لا تَقنَطوا مِن رَحمَةِ اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَغفِرُ الذُّنوبَ جَميعًا ۚ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الغَفورُ الرَّحيمُ
[53] বলুন, হে আমার বান্দাগণ যারা নিজেদের উপর যুলুম করেছ তোমরা আল্লাহর রহমত থেকে নিরাশ হয়ো না। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সমস্ত গোনাহ মাফ করেন। তিনি ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু।
[53] Say: "O 'Ibâdî (My slaves) who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allâh, verily Allâh forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful
[54] وَأَنيبوا إِلىٰ رَبِّكُم وَأَسلِموا لَهُ مِن قَبلِ أَن يَأتِيَكُمُ العَذابُ ثُمَّ لا تُنصَرونَ
[54] তোমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তার অভিমূখী হও এবং তাঁর আজ্ঞাবহ হও তোমাদের কাছে আযাব আসার পূর্বে। এরপর তোমরা সাহায্যপ্রাপ্ত হবে না;
[54] "And turn in repentance and in obedience with true Faith (Islâmic Monotheism) to your Lord and submit to Him, (in Islâm), before the torment comes upon you, (and) then you will not be helped.
[55] وَاتَّبِعوا أَحسَنَ ما أُنزِلَ إِلَيكُم مِن رَبِّكُم مِن قَبلِ أَن يَأتِيَكُمُ العَذابُ بَغتَةً وَأَنتُم لا تَشعُرونَ
[55] তোমাদের প্রতি অবতীর্ণ উত্তম বিষয়ের অনুসরণ কর তোমাদের কাছে অতর্কিতে ও অজ্ঞাতসারে আযাব আসার পূর্বে,
[55] "And follow the best of that which is sent down to you from your Lord (i.e. this Qur'ân, do what it orders you to do and keep away from what it forbids), before the torment comes on you suddenly while you perceive not!"
[56] أَن تَقولَ نَفسٌ يٰحَسرَتىٰ عَلىٰ ما فَرَّطتُ فى جَنبِ اللَّهِ وَإِن كُنتُ لَمِنَ السّٰخِرينَ
[56] যাতে কেউ না বলে, হায়, হায়, আল্লাহ সকাশে আমি কর্তব্যে অবহেলা করেছি এবং আমি ঠাট্টা-বিদ্রুপকারীদের অন্তর্ভূক্ত ছিলাম।
[56] Lest a person should say: "Alas, my grief that I was undutiful to Allâh (i.e. I have not done what Allâh has ordered me to do), and I was indeed among those who mocked [at the truth! i.e. Lâ ilâha illallâh (none has the right to be worshipped but Allâh), the Qur'ân, and Muhammad SAW and at the faithful believers]
[57] أَو تَقولَ لَو أَنَّ اللَّهَ هَدىٰنى لَكُنتُ مِنَ المُتَّقينَ
[57] অথবা না বলে, আল্লাহ যদি আমাকে পথপ্রদর্শন করতেন, তবে অবশ্যই আমি পরহেযগারদের একজন হতাম।
[57] Or (lest) he should say: "If only Allâh had guided me, I should indeed have been among the Muttaqûn (pious and righteous persons - see V.2:2)."
[58] أَو تَقولَ حينَ تَرَى العَذابَ لَو أَنَّ لى كَرَّةً فَأَكونَ مِنَ المُحسِنينَ
[58] অথবা আযাব প্রত্যক্ষ করার সময় না বলে, যদি কোনরূপে একবার ফিরে যেতে পারি, তবে আমি সৎকর্মপরায়ণ হয়ে যাব।
[58] Or (lest) he should say when he sees the torment: "If only I had another chance (to return to the world) then I should indeed be among the Muhsinûn (good-doers - see V.2:112)."
[59] بَلىٰ قَد جاءَتكَ ءايٰتى فَكَذَّبتَ بِها وَاستَكبَرتَ وَكُنتَ مِنَ الكٰفِرينَ
[59] হাঁ, তোমার কাছে আমার নির্দেশ এসেছিল; অতঃপর তুমি তাকে মিথ্যা বলেছিলে, অহংকার করেছিলে এবং কাফেরদের অন্তর্ভূক্ত হয়ে গিয়েছিলে।
[59] Yes! Verily, there came to you My Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) and you denied them, and were proud and were among the disbelievers.
[60] وَيَومَ القِيٰمَةِ تَرَى الَّذينَ كَذَبوا عَلَى اللَّهِ وُجوهُهُم مُسوَدَّةٌ ۚ أَلَيسَ فى جَهَنَّمَ مَثوًى لِلمُتَكَبِّرينَ
[60] যারা আল্লাহর প্রতি মিথ্যা আরোপ করে, কেয়ামতের দিন আপনি তাদের মুখ কাল দেখবেন। অহংকারীদের আবাসস্থল জাহান্নামে নয় কি?
[60] And on the Day of Resurrection you will see those who lied against Allâh (i.e. attributed to Him sons, partners) — their faces will be black. Is there not in Hell an abode for the arrogant?
[61] وَيُنَجِّى اللَّهُ الَّذينَ اتَّقَوا بِمَفازَتِهِم لا يَمَسُّهُمُ السّوءُ وَلا هُم يَحزَنونَ
[61] আর যারা শিরক থেকে বেঁচে থাকত, আল্লাহ তাদেরকে সাফল্যের সাথে মুক্তি দেবেন, তাদেরকে অনিষ্ট স্পর্শ করবে না এবং তারা চিন্তিতও হবে না।
[61] And Allâh will deliver those who are the Muttaqûn (pious - see V.2:2) to their places of success (Paradise). Evil shall touch them not, nor shall they grieve.
[62] اللَّهُ خٰلِقُ كُلِّ شَيءٍ ۖ وَهُوَ عَلىٰ كُلِّ شَيءٍ وَكيلٌ
[62] আল্লাহ সর্বকিছুর স্রষ্টা এবং তিনি সবকিছুর দায়িত্ব গ্রহণ করেন।
[62] Allâh is the Creator of all things, and He is the Wakîl (Trustee, Disposer of affairs, Guardian) over all things.
[63] لَهُ مَقاليدُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضِ ۗ وَالَّذينَ كَفَروا بِـٔايٰتِ اللَّهِ أُولٰئِكَ هُمُ الخٰسِرونَ
[63] আসমান ও যমীনের চাবি তাঁরই নিকট। যারা আল্লাহর আয়াতসমূহকে অস্বীকার করে, তারাই ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত।
[63] To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth. And those who disbelieve in the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allâh, such are they who will be the losers.
[64] قُل أَفَغَيرَ اللَّهِ تَأمُرونّى أَعبُدُ أَيُّهَا الجٰهِلونَ
[64] বলুন, হে মুর্খরা, তোমরা কি আমাকে আল্লাহ ব্যতীত অন্যের এবাদত করতে আদেশ করছ?
[64] Say (O Muhammad SAW to the polytheists): "Do you order me to worship other than Allâh? O you fools!"
[65] وَلَقَد أوحِىَ إِلَيكَ وَإِلَى الَّذينَ مِن قَبلِكَ لَئِن أَشرَكتَ لَيَحبَطَنَّ عَمَلُكَ وَلَتَكونَنَّ مِنَ الخٰسِرينَ
[65] আপনার প্রতি এবং আপনার পূর্ববর্তীদের পতি প্রত্যাদেশ হয়েছে, যদি আল্লাহর শরীক স্থির করেন, তবে আপনার কর্ম নিষ্ফল হবে এবং আপনি ক্ষতিগ্রস্তদের একজন হবেন।
[65] And indeed it has been revealed to you (O Muhammad SAW), as it was to those (Allâh's Messengers) before you: "If you join others in worship with Allâh, (then) surely (all) your deeds will be in vain, and you will certainly be among the losers."
[66] بَلِ اللَّهَ فَاعبُد وَكُن مِنَ الشّٰكِرينَ
[66] বরং আল্লাহরই এবাদত করুন এবং কৃতজ্ঞদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত থাকুন।
[66] Nay! But worship Allâh (Alone and none else), and be among the grateful.
[67] وَما قَدَرُوا اللَّهَ حَقَّ قَدرِهِ وَالأَرضُ جَميعًا قَبضَتُهُ يَومَ القِيٰمَةِ وَالسَّمٰوٰتُ مَطوِيّٰتٌ بِيَمينِهِ ۚ سُبحٰنَهُ وَتَعٰلىٰ عَمّا يُشرِكونَ
[67] তারা আল্লাহকে যথার্থরূপে বোঝেনি। কেয়ামতের দিন গোটা পৃথিবী থাকবে তাঁর হাতের মুঠোতে এবং আসমান সমূহ ভাঁজ করা অবস্থায় থাকবে তাঁর ডান হাতে। তিনি পবিত্র। আর এরা যাকে শরীক করে, তা থেকে তিনি অনেক উর্ধ্বে।
[67] They made not a just estimate of Allâh such as is due to Him. And on the Day of Resurrection the whole of the earth will be grasped by His Hand and the heavens will be rolled up in His Right Hand. Glorified is He, and High is He above all that they associate as partners with Him!
[68] وَنُفِخَ فِى الصّورِ فَصَعِقَ مَن فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَن فِى الأَرضِ إِلّا مَن شاءَ اللَّهُ ۖ ثُمَّ نُفِخَ فيهِ أُخرىٰ فَإِذا هُم قِيامٌ يَنظُرونَ
[68] শিংগায় ফুঁক দেয়া হবে, ফলে আসমান ও যমীনে যারা আছে সবাই বেহুঁশ হয়ে যাবে, তবে আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা করেন। অতঃপর আবার শিংগায় ফুঁক দেয়া হবে, তৎক্ষণাৎ তারা দন্ডায়মান হয়ে দেখতে থাকবে।
[68] And the Trumpet will be blown, and all who are in the heavens and all who are on the earth will swoon away, except him whom Allâh wills. Then it will blown a second time and behold, they will be standing, looking on (waiting).
[69] وَأَشرَقَتِ الأَرضُ بِنورِ رَبِّها وَوُضِعَ الكِتٰبُ وَجِا۟يءَ بِالنَّبِيّۦنَ وَالشُّهَداءِ وَقُضِىَ بَينَهُم بِالحَقِّ وَهُم لا يُظلَمونَ
[69] পৃথিবী তার পালনকর্তার নূরে উদ্ভাসিত হবে, আমলনামা স্থাপন করা হবে, পয়গম্বরগণ ও সাক্ষীগণকে আনা হবে এবং সকলের মধ্যে ন্যায় বিচার করা হবে-তাদের প্রতি জুলুম করা হবে না।
[69] And the earth will shine with the light of its Lord (Allâh, when He will come to judge among men) and the Book will be placed (open) and the Prophets and the witnesses will be brought forward, and it will be judged between them with truth, and they will not be wronged.
[70] وَوُفِّيَت كُلُّ نَفسٍ ما عَمِلَت وَهُوَ أَعلَمُ بِما يَفعَلونَ
[70] প্রত্যেকে যা করেছে, তার পূর্ণ প্রতিফল দেয়া হবে। তারা যা কিছু করে, সে সম্পর্কে আল্লাহ সম্যক অবগত।
[70] And each person will be paid in full of what he did; and He is Best Aware of what they do.
[71] وَسيقَ الَّذينَ كَفَروا إِلىٰ جَهَنَّمَ زُمَرًا ۖ حَتّىٰ إِذا جاءوها فُتِحَت أَبوٰبُها وَقالَ لَهُم خَزَنَتُها أَلَم يَأتِكُم رُسُلٌ مِنكُم يَتلونَ عَلَيكُم ءايٰتِ رَبِّكُم وَيُنذِرونَكُم لِقاءَ يَومِكُم هٰذا ۚ قالوا بَلىٰ وَلٰكِن حَقَّت كَلِمَةُ العَذابِ عَلَى الكٰفِرينَ
[71] কাফেরদেরকে জাহান্নামের দিকে দলে দলে হাঁকিয়ে নেয়া হবে। তারা যখন সেখানে পৌছাবে, তখন তার দরজাসমূহ খুলে দেয়া হবে এবং জাহান্নামের রক্ষীরা তাদেরকে বলবে, তোমাদের কাছে কি তোমাদের মধ্য থেকে পয়গম্বর আসেনি, যারা তোমাদের কাছে তোমাদের পালনকর্তার আয়াতসমূহ আবৃত্তি করত এবং সতর্ক করত এ দিনের সাক্ষাতের ব্যাপারে? তারা বলবে, হঁ্যা, কিন্তু কাফেরদের প্রতি শাস্তির হুকুমই বাস্তবায়িত হয়েছে।
[71] And those who disbelieved will be driven to Hell in groups, till, when they reach it, the gates thereof will be opened (suddenly like a prison at the arrival of the prisoners). And its keepers will say, "Did not the Messengers come to you from yourselves, reciting to you the Verses of your Lord, and warning you of the Meeting of this Day of yours?" They will say: "Yes, but the Word of torment has been justified against the disbelievers!"
[72] قيلَ ادخُلوا أَبوٰبَ جَهَنَّمَ خٰلِدينَ فيها ۖ فَبِئسَ مَثوَى المُتَكَبِّرينَ
[72] বলা হবে, তোমরা জাহান্নামের দরজা দিয়ে প্রবেশ কর, সেখানে চিরকাল অবস্থানের জন্যে। কত নিকৃষ্ট অহংকারীদের আবাসস্থল।
[72] It will be said (to them): "Enter you the gates of Hell, to abide therein. And (indeed) what an evil abode of the arrogant!"
[73] وَسيقَ الَّذينَ اتَّقَوا رَبَّهُم إِلَى الجَنَّةِ زُمَرًا ۖ حَتّىٰ إِذا جاءوها وَفُتِحَت أَبوٰبُها وَقالَ لَهُم خَزَنَتُها سَلٰمٌ عَلَيكُم طِبتُم فَادخُلوها خٰلِدينَ
[73] যারা তাদের পালনকর্তাকে ভয় করত তাদেরকে দলে দলে জান্নাতের দিকে নিয়ে যাওয়া হবে। যখন তারা উম্মুক্ত দরজা দিয়ে জান্নাতে পৌছাবে এবং জান্নাতের রক্ষীরা তাদেরকে বলবে, তোমাদের প্রতি সালাম, তোমরা সুখে থাক, অতঃপর সদাসর্বদা বসবাসের জন্যে তোমরা জান্নাতে প্রবেশ কর।
[73] And those who kept their duty to their Lord will be led to Paradise in groups, till, when they reach it, and its gates will be opened (before their arrival for their reception) and its keepers will say: Salâmun 'Alaikum (peace be upon you)! You have done well, so enter here to abide therein."
[74] وَقالُوا الحَمدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذى صَدَقَنا وَعدَهُ وَأَورَثَنَا الأَرضَ نَتَبَوَّأُ مِنَ الجَنَّةِ حَيثُ نَشاءُ ۖ فَنِعمَ أَجرُ العٰمِلينَ
[74] তারা বলবে, সমস্ত প্রশংসা আল্লাহর, যিনি আমাদের প্রতি তাঁর ওয়াদা পূর্ণ করেছেন এবং আমাদেরকে এ ভূমির উত্তরাধিকারী করেছেন। আমরা জান্নাতের যেখানে ইচ্ছা বসবাস করব। মেহনতকারীদের পুরস্কার কতই চমৎকার।
[74] And they will say: "All the praises and thanks are to Allâh Who has fulfilled His Promise to us and has made us inherit (this) land. We can dwell in Paradise where we will; how excellent a reward for the (pious good) workers!"
[75] وَتَرَى المَلٰئِكَةَ حافّينَ مِن حَولِ العَرشِ يُسَبِّحونَ بِحَمدِ رَبِّهِم ۖ وَقُضِىَ بَينَهُم بِالحَقِّ وَقيلَ الحَمدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ العٰلَمينَ
[75] আপনি ফেরেশতাগণকে দেখবেন, তারা আরশের চার পাশ ঘিরে তাদের পালনকর্তার পবিত্রতা ঘোষনা করছে। তাদের সবার মাঝে ন্যায় বিচার করা হবে। বলা হবে, সমস্ত প্রশংসা বিশ্বপালক আল্লাহর।
[75] And you will see the angels surrounding the Throne (of Allâh) from all round, glorifying the praises of their Lord (Allâh). And they (all the creatures) will be judged with truth, and it will be said. All the praises and thanks are to Allâh, the Lord of the 'Alamîn (mankind, jinn and all that exists)."
