আদ-দোখান (ধোঁয়া)
بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ
শুরু করছি আল্লাহর নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়, অতি দয়ালু
[1] حم
[1] হা-মীম।
[1] Hâ-Mîm [These letters are one of the miracles of the Qur'ân and none but Allâh (Alone) knows their meanings]
[2] وَالكِتٰبِ المُبينِ
[2] শপথ সুস্পষ্ট কিতাবের।
[2] By the manifest Book (this Qur'ân) that makes things clear,
[3] إِنّا أَنزَلنٰهُ فى لَيلَةٍ مُبٰرَكَةٍ ۚ إِنّا كُنّا مُنذِرينَ
[3] আমি একে নাযিল করেছি। এক বরকতময় রাতে, নিশ্চয় আমি সতর্ককারী।
[3] We sent it (this Qur'ân) down on a blessed night [(i.e. night of Qadr, Sûrah No: 97) in the month of Ramadân — the 9th month of the Islâmic calendar]. Verily, We are ever warning [mankind that Our Torment will reach those who disbelieve in Our Oneness of Lordship and in Our Oneness of worship].
[4] فيها يُفرَقُ كُلُّ أَمرٍ حَكيمٍ
[4] এ রাতে প্রত্যেক প্রজ্ঞাপূর্ণ বিষয় স্থিরীকৃত হয়।
[4] Therein (that night) is decreed every matter of ordainments
[5] أَمرًا مِن عِندِنا ۚ إِنّا كُنّا مُرسِلينَ
[5] আমার পক্ষ থেকে আদেশক্রমে, আমিই প্রেরণকারী।
[5] As a Command (or this Qur'an or the Decree of every matter) from Us. Verily, We are ever sending (the Messengers),
[6] رَحمَةً مِن رَبِّكَ ۚ إِنَّهُ هُوَ السَّميعُ العَليمُ
[6] আপনার পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে রহমতস্বরূপ। তিনি সর্বশ্রোতা, সর্বজ্ঞ।
[6] (As) a Mercy from your Lord. Verily! He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.
[7] رَبِّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضِ وَما بَينَهُما ۖ إِن كُنتُم موقِنينَ
[7] যদি তোমাদের বিশ্বাস থাকে দেখতে পাবে। তিনি নভোমন্ডল, ভূমন্ডল ও এতদুভয়ের মধ্যেবর্তী সবকিছুর পালনকর্তা।
[7] The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, if you (but) have a faith with certainty.
[8] لا إِلٰهَ إِلّا هُوَ يُحيۦ وَيُميتُ ۖ رَبُّكُم وَرَبُّ ءابائِكُمُ الأَوَّلينَ
[8] তিনি ব্যতীত কোন উপাস্য নেই। তিনি জীবন দান করেন ও মৃত্যু দেন। তিনি তোমাদের পালনকর্তা এবং তোমাদের পূর্ববর্তী পিতৃ-পুরুষদেরও পালনকর্তা।
[8] Lâ ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He). It is He Who gives life and causes death,— your Lord and the Lord of your fore-fathers.
[9] بَل هُم فى شَكٍّ يَلعَبونَ
[9] এতদসত্ত্বেও এরা সন্দেহে পতিত হয়ে ক্রীড়া-কৌতুক করছে।
[9] Nay! They play about in doubt.
[10] فَارتَقِب يَومَ تَأتِى السَّماءُ بِدُخانٍ مُبينٍ
[10] অতএব আপনি সেই দিনের অপেক্ষা করুন, যখন আকাশ ধূয়ায় ছেয়ে যাবে।
[10] Then wait you for the Day when the sky will bring forth a visible smoke.
[11] يَغشَى النّاسَ ۖ هٰذا عَذابٌ أَليمٌ
[11] যা মানুষকে ঘিরে ফেলবে। এটা যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি।
[11] Covering the people? this is a painful torment.
[12] رَبَّنَا اكشِف عَنَّا العَذابَ إِنّا مُؤمِنونَ
[12] হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা আমাদের উপর থেকে শাস্তি প্রত্যাহার করুন, আমরা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করছি।
[12] (They will say): "Our Lord! Remove the torment from us, really we shall become believers!"
[13] أَنّىٰ لَهُمُ الذِّكرىٰ وَقَد جاءَهُم رَسولٌ مُبينٌ
[13] তারা কি করে বুঝবে, অথচ তাদের কাছে এসেছিলেন স্পষ্ট বর্ণনাকারী রসূল।
[13] How can there be for them an admonition (at the time when the torment has reached them), when a Messenger explaining things clearly has already come to them.
[14] ثُمَّ تَوَلَّوا عَنهُ وَقالوا مُعَلَّمٌ مَجنونٌ
[14] অতঃপর তারা তাকে পৃষ্ঠপ্রদর্শন করে এবং বলে, সে তো উম্মাদ-শিখানো কথা বলে।
[14] Then they had turned away from him (Messenger Muhammad SAW) and said: "Hw is One taught (by a human being), a madman!"
[15] إِنّا كاشِفُوا العَذابِ قَليلًا ۚ إِنَّكُم عائِدونَ
[15] আমি তোমাদের উপর থেকে আযাব কিছুটা প্রত্যাহার করব, কিন্তু তোমরা পুনরায় পুনর্বস্থায় ফিরে যাবে।
[15] Verily, We shall remove the torment for a while. Verily! You will revert (to disbelief).
[16] يَومَ نَبطِشُ البَطشَةَ الكُبرىٰ إِنّا مُنتَقِمونَ
[16] যেদিন আমি প্রবলভাবে ধৃত করব, সেদিন পুরোপুরি প্রতিশোধ গ্রহণ করবই।
[16] On the Day when We shall seize you with the greatest seizure (punishment). Verily, We will exact retribution.
[17] ۞ وَلَقَد فَتَنّا قَبلَهُم قَومَ فِرعَونَ وَجاءَهُم رَسولٌ كَريمٌ
[17] তাদের পূর্বে আমি ফেরাউনের সম্প্রদায়কে পরীক্ষা করেছি এবং তাদের কাছে আগমন করেছেন একজন সম্মানিত রসূল,
[17] And indeed We tried before them Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) people, when there came to them a noble Messenger [i.e. Mûsa (Moses) A.S.],
[18] أَن أَدّوا إِلَىَّ عِبادَ اللَّهِ ۖ إِنّى لَكُم رَسولٌ أَمينٌ
[18] এই মর্মে যে, আল্লাহর বান্দাদেরকে আমার কাছে অর্পণ কর। আমি তোমাদের জন্য প্রেরীত বিশ্বস্ত রসূল।
[18] Saying: "Deliver to me the slaves of Allâh (i.e. the Children of Israel). Verily! I am to you a Messenger worthy of all trust,
[19] وَأَن لا تَعلوا عَلَى اللَّهِ ۖ إِنّى ءاتيكُم بِسُلطٰنٍ مُبينٍ
[19] আর তোমরা আল্লাহর বিরুদ্ধে ঔদ্ধত্য প্রকাশ করো না। আমি তোমাদের কাছে প্রকাশ্য প্রমাণ উপস্থিত করছি।
[19] "And exalt not yourselves against Allâh. Truly, I have come to you with a manifest authority.
[20] وَإِنّى عُذتُ بِرَبّى وَرَبِّكُم أَن تَرجُمونِ
[20] তোমরা যাতে আমাকে প্রস্তরবর্ষণে হত্যা না কর, তজ্জন্যে আমি আমার পালনকর্তা ও তোমাদের পালনকর্তার শরনাপন্ন হয়েছি।
[20] "And truly, I seek refuge with my Lord and your Lord, lest you should stone me (or call me a sorcerer or kill me).
[21] وَإِن لَم تُؤمِنوا لى فَاعتَزِلونِ
[21] তোমরা যদি আমার প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন না কর, তবে আমার কাছ থেকে দূরে থাক।
[21] "But if you believe me not, then keep away from me and leave me alone."
[22] فَدَعا رَبَّهُ أَنَّ هٰؤُلاءِ قَومٌ مُجرِمونَ
[22] অতঃপর সে তার পালনকর্তার কাছে দোয়া করল যে, এরা অপরাধী সম্প্রদায়।
[22] (But they were aggressive), so he [Mûsa (Moses)] called upon his Lord (saying): "These are indeed the people who are Mujrimûn (disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, criminals)."
[23] فَأَسرِ بِعِبادى لَيلًا إِنَّكُم مُتَّبَعونَ
[23] তাহলে তুমি আমার বান্দাদেরকে নিয়ে রাত্রিবেলায় বের হয়ে পড়। নিশ্চয় তোমাদের পশ্চাদ্ধবন করা হবে।
[23] (Allâh said): "Depart you with My slaves by night. Surely, you will be pursued
[24] وَاترُكِ البَحرَ رَهوًا ۖ إِنَّهُم جُندٌ مُغرَقونَ
[24] এবং সমুদ্রকে অচল থাকতে দাও। নিশ্চয় ওরা নিমজ্জত বাহিনী।
[24] "And leave the sea as it is (quiet and divided). Verily, they are a host to be drowned."
[25] كَم تَرَكوا مِن جَنّٰتٍ وَعُيونٍ
[25] তারা ছেড়ে গিয়েছিল কত উদ্যান ও প্রস্রবন,
[25] How many of gardens and springs that they [Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) people] left behind,
[26] وَزُروعٍ وَمَقامٍ كَريمٍ
[26] কত শস্যক্ষেত্র ও সূরম্য স্থান।
[26] And green crops (fields) and goodly places,
[27] وَنَعمَةٍ كانوا فيها فٰكِهينَ
[27] কত সুখের উপকরণ, যাতে তারা খোশগল্প করত।
[27] And comforts of life wherein they used to take delight!
[28] كَذٰلِكَ ۖ وَأَورَثنٰها قَومًا ءاخَرينَ
[28] এমনিই হয়েছিল এবং আমি ওগুলোর মালিক করেছিলাম ভিন্ন সম্প্রদায়কে।
[28] Thus (it was)! And We made other people inherit them (i.e. We made the Children of Israel to inherit the kingdom of Egypt).
[29] فَما بَكَت عَلَيهِمُ السَّماءُ وَالأَرضُ وَما كانوا مُنظَرينَ
[29] তাদের জন্যে ক্রন্দন করেনি আকাশ ও পৃথিবী এবং তারা অবকাশও পায়নি।
[29] And the heavens and the earth wept not for them , nor were they given a respite.
[30] وَلَقَد نَجَّينا بَنى إِسرٰءيلَ مِنَ العَذابِ المُهينِ
[30] আমি বনী-ইসরাঈলকে অপমানজনক শাস্তি থেকে উদ্ধার করছি।
[30] And indeed We saved the Children of Israel from the humiliating torment,
[31] مِن فِرعَونَ ۚ إِنَّهُ كانَ عالِيًا مِنَ المُسرِفينَ
[31] ফেরাউন সে ছিল সীমালংঘনকারীদের মধ্যে শীর্ষস্থানীয়।
[31] From Fir'aun (Pharaoh); Verily, he was arrogant and was of the Musrifûn (those who transgress beyond bound in spending and other things and commit great sins).
[32] وَلَقَدِ اختَرنٰهُم عَلىٰ عِلمٍ عَلَى العٰلَمينَ
[32] আমি জেনেশুনে তাদেরকে বিশ্ববাসীদের উপর শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব দিয়েছিলাম।
[32] And We chose them (the Children of Israel) above the 'Alamîn (mankind, and jinn) [during the time of Mûsa (Moses)] with knowledge,
[33] وَءاتَينٰهُم مِنَ الءايٰتِ ما فيهِ بَلٰؤٌا۟ مُبينٌ
[33] এবং আমি তাদেরকে এমন নিদর্শনাবলী দিয়েছিলাম যাতে ছিল স্পষ্ট সাহায্য।
[33] And granted them signs in which there was a plain trial.
[34] إِنَّ هٰؤُلاءِ لَيَقولونَ
[34] কাফেররা বলেই থাকে,
[34] Verily, these (Quraish) people are saying:
[35] إِن هِىَ إِلّا مَوتَتُنَا الأولىٰ وَما نَحنُ بِمُنشَرينَ
[35] প্রথম মৃত্যুর মাধ্যমেই আমাদের সবকিছুর অবসান হবে এবং আমরা পুনরুত্থিত হব না।
[35] "There is nothing but our first death, and we shall not be resurrected.
[36] فَأتوا بِـٔابائِنا إِن كُنتُم صٰدِقينَ
[36] তোমরা যদি সত্যবাদী হও, তবে আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদেরকে নিয়ে এস।
[36] "Then bring back our forefathers, if you speak the truth!"
[37] أَهُم خَيرٌ أَم قَومُ تُبَّعٍ وَالَّذينَ مِن قَبلِهِم ۚ أَهلَكنٰهُم ۖ إِنَّهُم كانوا مُجرِمينَ
[37] ওরা শ্রেষ্ঠ, না তুব্বার সম্প্রদায় ও তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরা? আমি ওদেরকে ধ্বংস করে দিয়েছি। ওরা ছিল অপরাধী।
[37] Are they better or the people of Tubba' and those before them? We destroyed them because they were indeed Mujrimûn (disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, criminals).
[38] وَما خَلَقنَا السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضَ وَما بَينَهُما لٰعِبينَ
[38] আমি নভোমন্ডল, ভূমন্ডল ও এতদুভয়ের মধ্যবর্তী সবকিছু ক্রীড়াচ্ছলে সৃষ্টি করিনি।
[38] And We created not the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, for mere play,
[39] ما خَلَقنٰهُما إِلّا بِالحَقِّ وَلٰكِنَّ أَكثَرَهُم لا يَعلَمونَ
[39] আমি এগুলো যথাযথ উদ্দেশ্যে সৃষ্টি করেছি; কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই বোঝে না।
[39] We created them not except with truth (i.e. to examine and test those who are obedient and those who are disobedient and then reward the obedient ones and punish the disobedient ones), but most of them know not.
[40] إِنَّ يَومَ الفَصلِ ميقٰتُهُم أَجمَعينَ
[40] নিশ্চয় ফয়সালার দিন তাদের সবারই নির্ধারিত সময়।
[40] Verily, the Day of Judgement (when Allâh will judge between the creatures) is the time appointed for all of them,—
[41] يَومَ لا يُغنى مَولًى عَن مَولًى شَيـًٔا وَلا هُم يُنصَرونَ
[41] যেদিন কোন বন্ধুই কোন বন্ধুর উপকারে আসবে না এবং তারা সাহায্যপ্রাপ্তও হবে না।
[41] The Day when Maula (a near relative) cannot avail Maula (a near relative) in aught, and no help can they receive,
[42] إِلّا مَن رَحِمَ اللَّهُ ۚ إِنَّهُ هُوَ العَزيزُ الرَّحيمُ
[42] তবে আল্লাহ যার প্রতি দয়া করেন, তার কথা ভিন্ন। নিশ্চয় তিনি পরাক্রমশালী দয়াময়।
[42] Except him on whom Allâh has Mercy. Verily, He is the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful.
[45] كَالمُهلِ يَغلى فِى البُطونِ
[45] গলিত তাম্রের মত পেটে ফুটতে থাকবে।
[45] Like boiling oil, it will boil in the bellies,
[47] خُذوهُ فَاعتِلوهُ إِلىٰ سَواءِ الجَحيمِ
[47] একে ধর এবং টেনে নিয়ে যাও জাহান্নামের মধ্যস্থলে,
[47] (It will be said) "Seize him and drag him into the midst of blazing Fire,
[48] ثُمَّ صُبّوا فَوقَ رَأسِهِ مِن عَذابِ الحَميمِ
[48] অতঃপর তার মাথার উপর ফুটন্ত পানির আযাব ঢেলে দাও,
[48] "Then pour over his head the torment of boiling water,
[49] ذُق إِنَّكَ أَنتَ العَزيزُ الكَريمُ
[49] স্বাদ গ্রহণ কর, তুমি তো সম্মানিত, সম্ভ্রান্ত।
[49] "Taste you (this)! Verily, you were (pretending to be) the mighty, the generous!
[50] إِنَّ هٰذا ما كُنتُم بِهِ تَمتَرونَ
[50] এ সম্পর্কে তোমরা সন্দেহে পতিত ছিলে।
[50] "Verily, this is that whereof you used to doubt!"
[51] إِنَّ المُتَّقينَ فى مَقامٍ أَمينٍ
[51] নিশ্চয় খোদাভীরুরা নিরাপদ স্থানে থাকবে-
[51] Verily! The Muttaqûn (pious - see V.2:2), will be in place of Security (Paradise)
[53] يَلبَسونَ مِن سُندُسٍ وَإِستَبرَقٍ مُتَقٰبِلينَ
[53] তারা পরিধান করবে চিকন ও পুরু রেশমীবস্ত্র, মুখোমুখি হয়ে বসবে।
[53] Dressed in fine silk and (also) in thick silk, facing each other,
[54] كَذٰلِكَ وَزَوَّجنٰهُم بِحورٍ عينٍ
[54] এরূপই হবে এবং আমি তাদেরকে আনতলোচনা স্ত্রী দেব।
[54] So (it will be), and We shall marry them to Hur (fair females) with wide, lovely eyes.
[55] يَدعونَ فيها بِكُلِّ فٰكِهَةٍ ءامِنينَ
[55] তারা সেখানে শান্ত মনে বিভিন্ন ফল-মূল আনতে বলবে।
[55] They will call therein for every kind of fruit in peace and security;
[56] لا يَذوقونَ فيهَا المَوتَ إِلَّا المَوتَةَ الأولىٰ ۖ وَوَقىٰهُم عَذابَ الجَحيمِ
[56] তারা সেখানে মৃত্যু আস্বাদন করবে না, প্রথম মৃত্যু ব্যতীত এবং আপনার পালনকর্তা তাদেরকে জাহান্নামের আযাব থেকে রক্ষা করবেন।
[56] They will never taste death therein except the first death (of this world), and He will save them from the torment of the blazing Fire,
[57] فَضلًا مِن رَبِّكَ ۚ ذٰلِكَ هُوَ الفَوزُ العَظيمُ
[57] আপনার পালনকর্তার কৃপায় এটাই মহা সাফল্য।
[57] As a Bounty from your Lord! That will be the supreme success!
[58] فَإِنَّما يَسَّرنٰهُ بِلِسانِكَ لَعَلَّهُم يَتَذَكَّرونَ
[58] আমি আপনার ভাষায় কোরআনকে সহজ করে দিয়েছি, যাতে তারা স্মরণ রাখে।
[58] Certainly, We have made this (Qur'ân) easy in your tongue, in order that they may remember.

[12] (They will say): "Our Lord! Remove the torment from us, really we shall become believers!"
[13] أَنّىٰ لَهُمُ الذِّكرىٰ وَقَد جاءَهُم رَسولٌ مُبينٌ
[13] তারা কি করে বুঝবে, অথচ তাদের কাছে এসেছিলেন স্পষ্ট বর্ণনাকারী রসূল।

[15] আমি তোমাদের উপর থেকে আযাব কিছুটা প্রত্যাহার করব, কিন্তু তোমরা পুনরায় পুনর্বস্থায় ফিরে যাবে।
[15] Verily, We shall remove the torment for a while. Verily! You will revert (to disbelief).
[16] يَومَ نَبطِشُ البَطشَةَ الكُبرىٰ إِنّا مُنتَقِمونَ
[16] যেদিন আমি প্রবলভাবে ধৃত করব, সেদিন পুরোপুরি প্রতিশোধ গ্রহণ করবই।
[16] On the Day when We shall seize you with the greatest seizure (punishment). Verily, We will exact retribution.
[17] ۞ وَلَقَد فَتَنّا قَبلَهُم قَومَ فِرعَونَ وَجاءَهُم رَسولٌ كَريمٌ
[17] তাদের পূর্বে আমি ফেরাউনের সম্প্রদায়কে পরীক্ষা করেছি এবং তাদের কাছে আগমন করেছেন একজন সম্মানিত রসূল,
[17] And indeed We tried before them Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) people, when there came to them a noble Messenger [i.e. Mûsa (Moses) A.S.],
[18] أَن أَدّوا إِلَىَّ عِبادَ اللَّهِ ۖ إِنّى لَكُم رَسولٌ أَمينٌ
[18] এই মর্মে যে, আল্লাহর বান্দাদেরকে আমার কাছে অর্পণ কর। আমি তোমাদের জন্য প্রেরীত বিশ্বস্ত রসূল।
[18] Saying: "Deliver to me the slaves of Allâh (i.e. the Children of Israel). Verily! I am to you a Messenger worthy of all trust,
[19] وَأَن لا تَعلوا عَلَى اللَّهِ ۖ إِنّى ءاتيكُم بِسُلطٰنٍ مُبينٍ
[19] আর তোমরা আল্লাহর বিরুদ্ধে ঔদ্ধত্য প্রকাশ করো না। আমি তোমাদের কাছে প্রকাশ্য প্রমাণ উপস্থিত করছি।
[19] "And exalt not yourselves against Allâh. Truly, I have come to you with a manifest authority.
[20] وَإِنّى عُذتُ بِرَبّى وَرَبِّكُم أَن تَرجُمونِ
[20] তোমরা যাতে আমাকে প্রস্তরবর্ষণে হত্যা না কর, তজ্জন্যে আমি আমার পালনকর্তা ও তোমাদের পালনকর্তার শরনাপন্ন হয়েছি।
[20] "And truly, I seek refuge with my Lord and your Lord, lest you should stone me (or call me a sorcerer or kill me).
[21] وَإِن لَم تُؤمِنوا لى فَاعتَزِلونِ
[21] তোমরা যদি আমার প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন না কর, তবে আমার কাছ থেকে দূরে থাক।
[21] "But if you believe me not, then keep away from me and leave me alone."
[22] فَدَعا رَبَّهُ أَنَّ هٰؤُلاءِ قَومٌ مُجرِمونَ
[22] অতঃপর সে তার পালনকর্তার কাছে দোয়া করল যে, এরা অপরাধী সম্প্রদায়।
[22] (But they were aggressive), so he [Mûsa (Moses)] called upon his Lord (saying): "These are indeed the people who are Mujrimûn (disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, criminals)."
[23] فَأَسرِ بِعِبادى لَيلًا إِنَّكُم مُتَّبَعونَ
[23] তাহলে তুমি আমার বান্দাদেরকে নিয়ে রাত্রিবেলায় বের হয়ে পড়। নিশ্চয় তোমাদের পশ্চাদ্ধবন করা হবে।
[23] (Allâh said): "Depart you with My slaves by night. Surely, you will be pursued
[24] وَاترُكِ البَحرَ رَهوًا ۖ إِنَّهُم جُندٌ مُغرَقونَ
[24] এবং সমুদ্রকে অচল থাকতে দাও। নিশ্চয় ওরা নিমজ্জত বাহিনী।
[24] "And leave the sea as it is (quiet and divided). Verily, they are a host to be drowned."
[25] كَم تَرَكوا مِن جَنّٰتٍ وَعُيونٍ
[25] তারা ছেড়ে গিয়েছিল কত উদ্যান ও প্রস্রবন,
[25] How many of gardens and springs that they [Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) people] left behind,
[26] وَزُروعٍ وَمَقامٍ كَريمٍ
[26] কত শস্যক্ষেত্র ও সূরম্য স্থান।
[26] And green crops (fields) and goodly places,
[27] وَنَعمَةٍ كانوا فيها فٰكِهينَ
[27] কত সুখের উপকরণ, যাতে তারা খোশগল্প করত।
[27] And comforts of life wherein they used to take delight!
[28] كَذٰلِكَ ۖ وَأَورَثنٰها قَومًا ءاخَرينَ
[28] এমনিই হয়েছিল এবং আমি ওগুলোর মালিক করেছিলাম ভিন্ন সম্প্রদায়কে।
[28] Thus (it was)! And We made other people inherit them (i.e. We made the Children of Israel to inherit the kingdom of Egypt).
[29] فَما بَكَت عَلَيهِمُ السَّماءُ وَالأَرضُ وَما كانوا مُنظَرينَ
[29] তাদের জন্যে ক্রন্দন করেনি আকাশ ও পৃথিবী এবং তারা অবকাশও পায়নি।
[29] And the heavens and the earth wept not for them , nor were they given a respite.
[30] وَلَقَد نَجَّينا بَنى إِسرٰءيلَ مِنَ العَذابِ المُهينِ
[30] আমি বনী-ইসরাঈলকে অপমানজনক শাস্তি থেকে উদ্ধার করছি।
[30] And indeed We saved the Children of Israel from the humiliating torment,
[31] مِن فِرعَونَ ۚ إِنَّهُ كانَ عالِيًا مِنَ المُسرِفينَ
[31] ফেরাউন সে ছিল সীমালংঘনকারীদের মধ্যে শীর্ষস্থানীয়।
[31] From Fir'aun (Pharaoh); Verily, he was arrogant and was of the Musrifûn (those who transgress beyond bound in spending and other things and commit great sins).
[32] وَلَقَدِ اختَرنٰهُم عَلىٰ عِلمٍ عَلَى العٰلَمينَ
[32] আমি জেনেশুনে তাদেরকে বিশ্ববাসীদের উপর শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব দিয়েছিলাম।
[32] And We chose them (the Children of Israel) above the 'Alamîn (mankind, and jinn) [during the time of Mûsa (Moses)] with knowledge,
[33] وَءاتَينٰهُم مِنَ الءايٰتِ ما فيهِ بَلٰؤٌا۟ مُبينٌ
[33] এবং আমি তাদেরকে এমন নিদর্শনাবলী দিয়েছিলাম যাতে ছিল স্পষ্ট সাহায্য।
[33] And granted them signs in which there was a plain trial.
[34] إِنَّ هٰؤُلاءِ لَيَقولونَ
[34] কাফেররা বলেই থাকে,
[34] Verily, these (Quraish) people are saying:
[35] إِن هِىَ إِلّا مَوتَتُنَا الأولىٰ وَما نَحنُ بِمُنشَرينَ
[35] প্রথম মৃত্যুর মাধ্যমেই আমাদের সবকিছুর অবসান হবে এবং আমরা পুনরুত্থিত হব না।
[35] "There is nothing but our first death, and we shall not be resurrected.
[36] فَأتوا بِـٔابائِنا إِن كُنتُم صٰدِقينَ
[36] তোমরা যদি সত্যবাদী হও, তবে আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদেরকে নিয়ে এস।
[36] "Then bring back our forefathers, if you speak the truth!"
[37] أَهُم خَيرٌ أَم قَومُ تُبَّعٍ وَالَّذينَ مِن قَبلِهِم ۚ أَهلَكنٰهُم ۖ إِنَّهُم كانوا مُجرِمينَ
[37] ওরা শ্রেষ্ঠ, না তুব্বার সম্প্রদায় ও তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরা? আমি ওদেরকে ধ্বংস করে দিয়েছি। ওরা ছিল অপরাধী।
[37] Are they better or the people of Tubba' and those before them? We destroyed them because they were indeed Mujrimûn (disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, criminals).
[38] وَما خَلَقنَا السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضَ وَما بَينَهُما لٰعِبينَ
[38] আমি নভোমন্ডল, ভূমন্ডল ও এতদুভয়ের মধ্যবর্তী সবকিছু ক্রীড়াচ্ছলে সৃষ্টি করিনি।
[38] And We created not the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, for mere play,
[39] ما خَلَقنٰهُما إِلّا بِالحَقِّ وَلٰكِنَّ أَكثَرَهُم لا يَعلَمونَ
[39] আমি এগুলো যথাযথ উদ্দেশ্যে সৃষ্টি করেছি; কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই বোঝে না।
[39] We created them not except with truth (i.e. to examine and test those who are obedient and those who are disobedient and then reward the obedient ones and punish the disobedient ones), but most of them know not.
[40] إِنَّ يَومَ الفَصلِ ميقٰتُهُم أَجمَعينَ
[40] নিশ্চয় ফয়সালার দিন তাদের সবারই নির্ধারিত সময়।
[40] Verily, the Day of Judgement (when Allâh will judge between the creatures) is the time appointed for all of them,—
[41] يَومَ لا يُغنى مَولًى عَن مَولًى شَيـًٔا وَلا هُم يُنصَرونَ
[41] যেদিন কোন বন্ধুই কোন বন্ধুর উপকারে আসবে না এবং তারা সাহায্যপ্রাপ্তও হবে না।
[41] The Day when Maula (a near relative) cannot avail Maula (a near relative) in aught, and no help can they receive,
[42] إِلّا مَن رَحِمَ اللَّهُ ۚ إِنَّهُ هُوَ العَزيزُ الرَّحيمُ
[42] তবে আল্লাহ যার প্রতি দয়া করেন, তার কথা ভিন্ন। নিশ্চয় তিনি পরাক্রমশালী দয়াময়।
[42] Except him on whom Allâh has Mercy. Verily, He is the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful.
[45] كَالمُهلِ يَغلى فِى البُطونِ
[45] গলিত তাম্রের মত পেটে ফুটতে থাকবে।
[45] Like boiling oil, it will boil in the bellies,
[47] خُذوهُ فَاعتِلوهُ إِلىٰ سَواءِ الجَحيمِ
[47] একে ধর এবং টেনে নিয়ে যাও জাহান্নামের মধ্যস্থলে,
[47] (It will be said) "Seize him and drag him into the midst of blazing Fire,
[48] ثُمَّ صُبّوا فَوقَ رَأسِهِ مِن عَذابِ الحَميمِ
[48] অতঃপর তার মাথার উপর ফুটন্ত পানির আযাব ঢেলে দাও,
[48] "Then pour over his head the torment of boiling water,
[49] ذُق إِنَّكَ أَنتَ العَزيزُ الكَريمُ
[49] স্বাদ গ্রহণ কর, তুমি তো সম্মানিত, সম্ভ্রান্ত।
[49] "Taste you (this)! Verily, you were (pretending to be) the mighty, the generous!
[50] إِنَّ هٰذا ما كُنتُم بِهِ تَمتَرونَ
[50] এ সম্পর্কে তোমরা সন্দেহে পতিত ছিলে।
[50] "Verily, this is that whereof you used to doubt!"
[51] إِنَّ المُتَّقينَ فى مَقامٍ أَمينٍ
[51] নিশ্চয় খোদাভীরুরা নিরাপদ স্থানে থাকবে-
[51] Verily! The Muttaqûn (pious - see V.2:2), will be in place of Security (Paradise)
[53] يَلبَسونَ مِن سُندُسٍ وَإِستَبرَقٍ مُتَقٰبِلينَ
[53] তারা পরিধান করবে চিকন ও পুরু রেশমীবস্ত্র, মুখোমুখি হয়ে বসবে।
[53] Dressed in fine silk and (also) in thick silk, facing each other,
[54] كَذٰلِكَ وَزَوَّجنٰهُم بِحورٍ عينٍ
[54] এরূপই হবে এবং আমি তাদেরকে আনতলোচনা স্ত্রী দেব।
[54] So (it will be), and We shall marry them to Hur (fair females) with wide, lovely eyes.
[55] يَدعونَ فيها بِكُلِّ فٰكِهَةٍ ءامِنينَ
[55] তারা সেখানে শান্ত মনে বিভিন্ন ফল-মূল আনতে বলবে।
[55] They will call therein for every kind of fruit in peace and security;
[56] لا يَذوقونَ فيهَا المَوتَ إِلَّا المَوتَةَ الأولىٰ ۖ وَوَقىٰهُم عَذابَ الجَحيمِ
[56] তারা সেখানে মৃত্যু আস্বাদন করবে না, প্রথম মৃত্যু ব্যতীত এবং আপনার পালনকর্তা তাদেরকে জাহান্নামের আযাব থেকে রক্ষা করবেন।
[56] They will never taste death therein except the first death (of this world), and He will save them from the torment of the blazing Fire,
[57] فَضلًا مِن رَبِّكَ ۚ ذٰلِكَ هُوَ الفَوزُ العَظيمُ
[57] আপনার পালনকর্তার কৃপায় এটাই মহা সাফল্য।
[57] As a Bounty from your Lord! That will be the supreme success!
[58] فَإِنَّما يَسَّرنٰهُ بِلِسانِكَ لَعَلَّهُم يَتَذَكَّرونَ
[58] আমি আপনার ভাষায় কোরআনকে সহজ করে দিয়েছি, যাতে তারা স্মরণ রাখে।
[58] Certainly, We have made this (Qur'ân) easy in your tongue, in order that they may remember.
