ইয়াসীন (ইয়াসীন)
بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ
শুরু করছি আল্লাহর নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়, অতি দয়ালু
[1] يس
[1] ইয়া-সীন
[1] Yâ-Sîn. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Qur'ân, and none but Allâh (Alone) knows their meanings.]
[2] وَالقُرءانِ الحَكيمِ
[2] প্রজ্ঞাময় কোরআনের কসম।
[2] By the Qur'ân, full of wisdom (i.e. full of laws, evidences, and proofs),
[3] إِنَّكَ لَمِنَ المُرسَلينَ
[3] নিশ্চয় আপনি প্রেরিত রসূলগণের একজন।
[3] Truly, you (O Muhammad SAW) are one of the Messengers,
[4] عَلىٰ صِرٰطٍ مُستَقيمٍ
[4] সরল পথে প্রতিষ্ঠিত।
[4] On the Straight Path (i.e. on Allâh's religion of Islâmic Monotheism).
[5] تَنزيلَ العَزيزِ الرَّحيمِ
[5] কোরআন পরাক্রমশালী পরম দয়ালু আল্লাহর তরফ থেকে অবতীর্ণ,
[5] (This is a Revelation) sent down by the All¬Mighty, the Most Merciful,
[6] لِتُنذِرَ قَومًا ما أُنذِرَ ءاباؤُهُم فَهُم غٰفِلونَ
[6] যাতে আপনি এমন এক জাতিকে সতর্ক করেন, যাদের পূর্ব পুরুষগণকেও সতর্ক করা হয়নি। ফলে তারা গাফেল।
[6] In order that you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are heedless.
[7] لَقَد حَقَّ القَولُ عَلىٰ أَكثَرِهِم فَهُم لا يُؤمِنونَ
[7] তাদের অধিকাংশের জন্যে শাস্তির বিষয় অবধারিত হয়েছে। সুতরাং তারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করবে না।
[7] Indeed the Word (of punishment) has proved true against most of them, so they will not believe.
[8] إِنّا جَعَلنا فى أَعنٰقِهِم أَغلٰلًا فَهِىَ إِلَى الأَذقانِ فَهُم مُقمَحونَ
[8] আমি তাদের গর্দানে চিবুক পর্যন্ত বেড়ী পরিয়েছি। ফলে তাদের মস্তক উর্দ্ধমুখী হয়ে গেছে।
[8] Verily! We have put on their necks iron collars reaching to the chins, so that their heads are raised up.
[9] وَجَعَلنا مِن بَينِ أَيديهِم سَدًّا وَمِن خَلفِهِم سَدًّا فَأَغشَينٰهُم فَهُم لا يُبصِرونَ
[9] আমি তাদের সামনে ও পিছনে প্রাচীর স্থাপন করেছি, অতঃপর তাদেরকে আবৃত করে দিয়েছি, ফলে তারা দেখে না।
[9] And We have put a barrier before them, and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up, so that they cannot see.
[10] وَسَواءٌ عَلَيهِم ءَأَنذَرتَهُم أَم لَم تُنذِرهُم لا يُؤمِنونَ
[10] আপনি তাদেরকে সতর্ক করুন বা না করুন, তাদের পক্ষে দুয়েই সমান; তারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করবে না।
[10] It is the same to them whether you warn them or you warn them not, they will not believe.
[11] إِنَّما تُنذِرُ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ الذِّكرَ وَخَشِىَ الرَّحمٰنَ بِالغَيبِ ۖ فَبَشِّرهُ بِمَغفِرَةٍ وَأَجرٍ كَريمٍ
[11] আপনি কেবল তাদেরকেই সতর্ক করতে পারেন, যারা উপদেশ অনুসরণ করে এবং দয়াময় আল্লাহকে না দেখে ভয় করে। অতএব আপনি তাদেরকে সুসংবাদ দিয়ে দিন ক্ষমা ও সম্মানজনক পুরস্কারের।
[11] You can only warn him who follows the Reminder (the Qur'ân), and fears the Most Gracious (Allâh) unseen. Bear you to such one the glad tidings of forgiveness, and a generous reward (i.e. Paradise).
[12] إِنّا نَحنُ نُحىِ المَوتىٰ وَنَكتُبُ ما قَدَّموا وَءاثٰرَهُم ۚ وَكُلَّ شَيءٍ أَحصَينٰهُ فى إِمامٍ مُبينٍ
[12] আমিই মৃতদেরকে জীবিত করি এবং তাদের কর্ম ও কীর্তিসমূহ লিপিবদ্ধ করি। আমি প্রত্যেক বস্তু স্পষ্ট কিতাবে সংরক্ষিত রেখেছি।
[12] Verily, We give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before (them), and their traces[1] and all things We have recorded with numbers (as a record) in a Clear Book.
[13] وَاضرِب لَهُم مَثَلًا أَصحٰبَ القَريَةِ إِذ جاءَهَا المُرسَلونَ
[13] আপনি তাদের কাছে সে জনপদের অধিবাসীদের দৃষ্টান্ত বর্ণনা করুন, যখন সেখানে রসূল আগমন করেছিলেন।
[13] And put forward to them a similitude; the (story of the) dwellers of the town, [It is said that the town was Antioch (Antakiya)], when there came Messengers to them.
[14] إِذ أَرسَلنا إِلَيهِمُ اثنَينِ فَكَذَّبوهُما فَعَزَّزنا بِثالِثٍ فَقالوا إِنّا إِلَيكُم مُرسَلونَ
[14] আমি তাদের নিকট দুজন রসূল প্রেরণ করেছিলাম, অতঃপর ওরা তাদেরকে মিথ্যা প্রতিপন্ন করল। তখন আমি তাদেরকে শক্তিশালী করলাম তৃতীয় একজনের মাধ্যমে। তারা সবাই বলল, আমরা তোমাদের প্রতি প্রেরিত হয়েছি।
[14] When We sent to them two Messengers, they belied them both, so We reinforced them with a third, and they said: "Verily! We have been sent to you as Messengers."
[15] قالوا ما أَنتُم إِلّا بَشَرٌ مِثلُنا وَما أَنزَلَ الرَّحمٰنُ مِن شَيءٍ إِن أَنتُم إِلّا تَكذِبونَ
[15] তারা বলল, তোমরা তো আমাদের মতই মানুষ, রহমান আল্লাহ কিছুই নাযিল করেননি। তোমরা কেবল মিথ্যাই বলে যাচ্ছ।
[15] They (people of the town) said: "You are only human beings like ourselves, and the Most Gracious (Allâh) has revealed nothing, you are only telling lies."
[16] قالوا رَبُّنا يَعلَمُ إِنّا إِلَيكُم لَمُرسَلونَ
[16] রাসূলগণ বলল, আমাদের পরওয়ারদেগার জানেন, আমরা অবশ্যই তোমাদের প্রতি প্রেরিত হয়েছি।
[16] The Messengers said: "Our Lord knows that we have been sent as Messengers to you,
[17] وَما عَلَينا إِلَّا البَلٰغُ المُبينُ
[17] পরিস্কারভাবে আল্লাহর বাণী পৌছে দেয়াই আমাদের দায়িত্ব।
[17] "And our duty is only to convey plainly (the Message)."
[18] قالوا إِنّا تَطَيَّرنا بِكُم ۖ لَئِن لَم تَنتَهوا لَنَرجُمَنَّكُم وَلَيَمَسَّنَّكُم مِنّا عَذابٌ أَليمٌ
[18] তারা বলল, আমরা তোমাদেরকে অশুভ-অকল্যাণকর দেখছি। যদি তোমরা বিরত না হও, তবে অবশ্যই তোমাদেরকে প্রস্তর বর্ষণে হত্যা করব এবং আমাদের পক্ষ থেকে তোমাদেরকে যন্ত্রনাদায়ক শাস্তি স্পর্শ করবে।
[18] They (people) said: "For us, we see an evil omen from you, if you cease not, we will surely stone you, and a painful torment will touch you from us."
[19] قالوا طٰئِرُكُم مَعَكُم ۚ أَئِن ذُكِّرتُم ۚ بَل أَنتُم قَومٌ مُسرِفونَ
[19] রসূলগণ বলল, তোমাদের অকল্যাণ তোমাদের সাথেই! এটা কি এজন্যে যে, আমরা তোমাদেরকে সদুপদেশ দিয়েছি? বস্তুতঃ তোমরা সীমা লংঘনকারী সম্প্রদায় বৈ নও।
[19] They (Messengers) said: "Your evil omens be with you! (Do you call it "evil omen") because you are admonished? Nay, but you are a people Musrifûn (transgressing all bounds by committing all kinds of great sins, and by disobeying Allâh).
[20] وَجاءَ مِن أَقصَا المَدينَةِ رَجُلٌ يَسعىٰ قالَ يٰقَومِ اتَّبِعُوا المُرسَلينَ
[20] অতঃপর শহরের প্রান্তভাগ থেকে এক ব্যক্তি দৌড়ে এল। সে বলল, হে আমার সম্প্রদায় তোমরা রসূলগণের অনুসরণ কর।
[20] And there came a man running from the farthest part of the town. He said: "O my people! Obey the Messengers.
[21] اتَّبِعوا مَن لا يَسـَٔلُكُم أَجرًا وَهُم مُهتَدونَ
[21] অনুসরণ কর তাদের, যারা তোমাদের কাছে কোন বিনিময় কামনা করে না, অথচ তারা সুপথ প্রাপ্ত।
[21] "Obey those who ask no wages of you (for themselves), and who are rightly guided.
[22] وَما لِىَ لا أَعبُدُ الَّذى فَطَرَنى وَإِلَيهِ تُرجَعونَ
[22] আমার কি হল যে, যিনি আমাকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন এবং যার কাছে তোমরা প্রত্যাবর্তিত হবে, আমি তাঁর এবাদত করব না?
[22] "And why should I not worship Him (Allâh Alone) Who has created me and to Whom you shall be returned.
[23] ءَأَتَّخِذُ مِن دونِهِ ءالِهَةً إِن يُرِدنِ الرَّحمٰنُ بِضُرٍّ لا تُغنِ عَنّى شَفٰعَتُهُم شَيـًٔا وَلا يُنقِذونِ
[23] আমি কি তাঁর পরিবর্তে অন্যান্যদেরকে উপাস্যরূপে গ্রহণ করব? করুণাময় যদি আমাকে কষ্টে নিপতিত করতে চান, তবে তাদের সুপারিশ আমার কোনই কাজে আসবে না এবং তারা আমাকে রক্ষাও করতে পারবে না।
[23] "Shall I take besides Him âlihah (gods)? if the Most Gracious (Allâh) intends me any harm, their intercession will be of no use for me whatsoever, nor can they save me?
[24] إِنّى إِذًا لَفى ضَلٰلٍ مُبينٍ
[24] এরূপ করলে আমি প্রকাশ্য পথভ্রষ্টতায় পতিত হব।
[24] "Then verily, I should be in plain error.
[25] إِنّى ءامَنتُ بِرَبِّكُم فَاسمَعونِ
[25] আমি নিশ্চিতভাবে তোমাদের পালনকর্তার প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করলাম। অতএব আমার কাছ থেকে শুনে নাও।
[25] Verily! I have believed in your Lord, so listen to me!"
[26] قيلَ ادخُلِ الجَنَّةَ ۖ قالَ يٰلَيتَ قَومى يَعلَمونَ
[26] তাকে বলা হল, জান্নাতে প্রবেশ কর। সে বলল হায়, আমার সম্প্রদায় যদি কোন ক্রমে জানতে পারত-
[26] It was said (to him when the disbelievers killed him): "Enter Paradise." He said: "Would that my people knew!
[27] بِما غَفَرَ لى رَبّى وَجَعَلَنى مِنَ المُكرَمينَ
[27] যে আমার পরওয়ারদেগার আমাকে ক্ষমা করেছেন এবং আমাকে সম্মানিতদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত করেছেন।
[27] "That my Lord (Allâh) has forgiven me, and made me of the honoured ones!"
[28] ۞ وَما أَنزَلنا عَلىٰ قَومِهِ مِن بَعدِهِ مِن جُندٍ مِنَ السَّماءِ وَما كُنّا مُنزِلينَ
[28] তারপর আমি তার সম্প্রদায়ের উপর আকাশ থেকে কোন বাহিনী অবতীর্ণ করিনি এবং আমি (বাহিনী) অবতরণকারীও না।
[28] And We sent not against his people after him a host from the heaven, nor was it needful for Us to send (such a thing).
[29] إِن كانَت إِلّا صَيحَةً وٰحِدَةً فَإِذا هُم خٰمِدونَ
[29] বস্তুতঃ এ ছিল এক মহানাদ। অতঃপর সঙ্গে সঙ্গে সবাই স্তদ্ধ হয়ে গেল।
[29] It was but one Saihah (shout) and lo! they (all) were still (silent,dead,destroyed).
[30] يٰحَسرَةً عَلَى العِبادِ ۚ ما يَأتيهِم مِن رَسولٍ إِلّا كانوا بِهِ يَستَهزِءونَ
[30] বান্দাদের জন্যে আক্ষেপ যে, তাদের কাছে এমন কোন রসূলই আগমন করেনি যাদের প্রতি তারা বিদ্রুপ করে না।
[30] Alas for mankind! There never came a Messenger to them but they used to mock at him.
[31] أَلَم يَرَوا كَم أَهلَكنا قَبلَهُم مِنَ القُرونِ أَنَّهُم إِلَيهِم لا يَرجِعونَ
[31] তারা কি প্রত্যক্ষ করে না, তাদের পূর্বে আমি কত সম্প্রদায়কে ধ্বংস করেছি যে, তারা তাদের মধ্যে আর ফিরে আসবে না।
[31] Do they not see how many of the generations We have destroyed before them? Verily, they will not return to them.
[32] وَإِن كُلٌّ لَمّا جَميعٌ لَدَينا مُحضَرونَ
[32] ওদের সবাইকে সমবেত অবস্থায় আমার দরবারে উপস্থিত হতেই হবে।
[32] And surely, all,— everyone of them will be brought before Us.
[33] وَءايَةٌ لَهُمُ الأَرضُ المَيتَةُ أَحيَينٰها وَأَخرَجنا مِنها حَبًّا فَمِنهُ يَأكُلونَ
[33] তাদের জন্যে একটি নিদর্শন মৃত পৃথিবী। আমি একে সঞ্জীবিত করি এবং তা থেকে উৎপন্ন করি শস্য, তারা তা থেকে ভক্ষণ করে।
[33] And a sign for them is the dead land. We gave it life, and We bring forth from it grains, so that they eat thereof.
[34] وَجَعَلنا فيها جَنّٰتٍ مِن نَخيلٍ وَأَعنٰبٍ وَفَجَّرنا فيها مِنَ العُيونِ
[34] আমি তাতে সৃষ্টি করি খেজুর ও আঙ্গুরের বাগান এবং প্রবাহিত করি তাতে নির্ঝরিণী।
[34] And We have made therein gardens of date-palms and grapes, and We have caused springs of water to gush forth therein.
[35] لِيَأكُلوا مِن ثَمَرِهِ وَما عَمِلَتهُ أَيديهِم ۖ أَفَلا يَشكُرونَ
[35] যাতে তারা তার ফল খায়। তাদের হাত একে সৃষ্টি করে না। অতঃপর তারা কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করে না কেন?
[35] So that they may eat of the fruit thereof,— and their hands made it not. Will they not, then, give thanks?
[36] سُبحٰنَ الَّذى خَلَقَ الأَزوٰجَ كُلَّها مِمّا تُنبِتُ الأَرضُ وَمِن أَنفُسِهِم وَمِمّا لا يَعلَمونَ
[36] পবিত্র তিনি যিনি যমীন থেকে উৎপন্ন উদ্ভিদকে, তাদেরই মানুষকে এবং যা তারা জানে না, তার প্রত্যেককে জোড়া জোড়া করে সৃষ্টি করেছেন।
[36] Glory is to Him, Who has created all the pairs of that which the earth produces, as well as of their own (human) kind (male and female), and of that which they know not.
[37] وَءايَةٌ لَهُمُ الَّيلُ نَسلَخُ مِنهُ النَّهارَ فَإِذا هُم مُظلِمونَ
[37] তাদের জন্যে এক নিদর্শন রাত্রি, আমি তা থেকে দিনকে অপসারিত করি, তখনই তারা অন্ধকারে থেকে যায়।
[37] And a sign for them is the night, We withdraw therefrom the day, and behold, they are in darkness.
[38] وَالشَّمسُ تَجرى لِمُستَقَرٍّ لَها ۚ ذٰلِكَ تَقديرُ العَزيزِ العَليمِ
[38] সূর্য তার নির্দিষ্ট অবস্থানে আবর্তন করে। এটা পরাক্রমশালী, সর্বজ্ঞ, আল্লাহর নিয়ন্ত্রণ।
[38] And the sun runs on its fixed course for a term (appointed). That is the Decree of the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing.
[39] وَالقَمَرَ قَدَّرنٰهُ مَنازِلَ حَتّىٰ عادَ كَالعُرجونِ القَديمِ
[39] চন্দ্রের জন্যে আমি বিভিন্ন মনযিল নির্ধারিত করেছি। অবশেষে সে পুরাতন খর্জুর শাখার অনুরূপ হয়ে যায়।
[39] And the moon, We have measured for it mansions (to traverse) till it returns like the old dried curved date stalk.
[40] لَا الشَّمسُ يَنبَغى لَها أَن تُدرِكَ القَمَرَ وَلَا الَّيلُ سابِقُ النَّهارِ ۚ وَكُلٌّ فى فَلَكٍ يَسبَحونَ
[40] সূর্য নাগাল পেতে পারে না চন্দ্রের এবং রাত্রি অগ্রে চলে না দিনের প্রত্যেকেই আপন আপন কক্ষপথে সন্তরণ করে।
[40] It is not for the sun to overtake the moon, nor does the night outstrip the day. They all float, each in an orbit.
[41] وَءايَةٌ لَهُم أَنّا حَمَلنا ذُرِّيَّتَهُم فِى الفُلكِ المَشحونِ
[41] তাদের জন্যে একটি নিদর্শন এই যে, আমি তাদের সন্তান-সন্ততিকে বোঝাই নৌকায় আরোহণ করিয়েছি।
[41] And an Ayâh (sign) for them is that We bore their offspring in the laden ship [of Nûh (Noah)].
[42] وَخَلَقنا لَهُم مِن مِثلِهِ ما يَركَبونَ
[42] এবং তাদের জন্যে নৌকার অনুরূপ যানবাহন সৃষ্টি করেছি, যাতে তারা আরোহণ করে।
[42] d We have created for them of the like thereunto, on which they ride.
[43] وَإِن نَشَأ نُغرِقهُم فَلا صَريخَ لَهُم وَلا هُم يُنقَذونَ
[43] আমি ইচ্ছা করলে তাদেরকে নিমজ্জত করতে পারি, তখন তাদের জন্যে কোন সাহায্যকারী নেই এবং তারা পরিত্রাণও পাবে না।
[43] And if We will, We shall drown them, and there will be no shout (or helper) for them (to hear their cry for help) nor will they be saved.
[44] إِلّا رَحمَةً مِنّا وَمَتٰعًا إِلىٰ حينٍ
[44] কিন্তু আমারই পক্ষ থেকে কৃপা এবং তাদেরকে কিছু কাল জীবনোপভোগ করার সুযোগ দেয়ার কারণে তা করি না।
[44] Unless it be a mercy from Us, and as an enjoyment for a while.
[45] وَإِذا قيلَ لَهُمُ اتَّقوا ما بَينَ أَيديكُم وَما خَلفَكُم لَعَلَّكُم تُرحَمونَ
[45] আর যখন তাদেরকে বলা হয়, তোমরা সামনের আযাব ও পেছনের আযাবকে ভয় কর, যাতে তোমাদের প্রতি অনুগ্রহ করা হয়, তখন তারা তা অগ্রাহ্য করে।
[45] And when it is said to them: "Fear of that which is before you (worldly torments), and that which is behind you (torments in the Hereafter), in order that you may receive Mercy (i.e. if you believe in Allâh’s religion - Islâmic Monotheism, and avoid polytheism, and obey Allâh with righteous deeds)."
[46] وَما تَأتيهِم مِن ءايَةٍ مِن ءايٰتِ رَبِّهِم إِلّا كانوا عَنها مُعرِضينَ
[46] যখনই তাদের পালনকর্তার নির্দেশাবলীর মধ্যে থেকে কোন নির্দেশ তাদের কাছে আসে, তখনই তারা তা থেকে মুখে ফিরিয়ে নেয়।
[46] And never came an Ayâh from among the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of their Lord to them, but they did turn away from it.
[47] وَإِذا قيلَ لَهُم أَنفِقوا مِمّا رَزَقَكُمُ اللَّهُ قالَ الَّذينَ كَفَروا لِلَّذينَ ءامَنوا أَنُطعِمُ مَن لَو يَشاءُ اللَّهُ أَطعَمَهُ إِن أَنتُم إِلّا فى ضَلٰلٍ مُبينٍ
[47] যখন তাদেরকে বলা হয়, আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে যা দিয়েছেন, তা থেকে ব্যয় কর। তখন কাফেররা মুমিনগণকে বলে, ইচ্ছা করলেই আল্লাহ যাকে খাওয়াতে পারতেন, আমরা তাকে কেন খাওয়াব? তোমরা তো স্পষ্ট বিভ্রান্তিতে পতিত রয়েছ।
[47] And when it is said to them: "Spend of that with which Allâh has provided you," those who disbelieve say to those who believe: "Shall we feed those whom, if Allâh willed, He (Himself) would have fed? You are only in a plain error."
[48] وَيَقولونَ مَتىٰ هٰذَا الوَعدُ إِن كُنتُم صٰدِقينَ
[48] তারা বলে, তোমরা সত্যবাদী হলে বল এই ওয়াদা কবে পূর্ণ হবে?
[48] And they say: "When will this promise (i.e. Resurrection) be fulfilled, if you are truthful?"
[49] ما يَنظُرونَ إِلّا صَيحَةً وٰحِدَةً تَأخُذُهُم وَهُم يَخِصِّمونَ
[49] তারা কেবল একটা ভয়াবহ শব্দের অপেক্ষা করছে, যা তাদেরকে আঘাত করবে তাদের পারস্পরিক বাকবিতন্ডাকালে।
[49] They await only but a single Saihah (shout), which will seize them while they are disputing!
[50] فَلا يَستَطيعونَ تَوصِيَةً وَلا إِلىٰ أَهلِهِم يَرجِعونَ
[50] তখন তারা ওছিয়ত করতেও সক্ষম হবে না। এবং তাদের পরিবার-পরিজনের কাছেও ফিরে যেতে পারবে না।
[50] Then they will not be able to make bequest, nor they will return to their family.
[51] وَنُفِخَ فِى الصّورِ فَإِذا هُم مِنَ الأَجداثِ إِلىٰ رَبِّهِم يَنسِلونَ
[51] শিংগায় ফুঁক দেয়া হবে, তখনই তারা কবর থেকে তাদের পালনকর্তার দিকে ছুটে চলবে।
[51] And the Trumpet will be blown (i.e. the second blowing) and behold from the graves they will come out quickly to their Lord.
[52] قالوا يٰوَيلَنا مَن بَعَثَنا مِن مَرقَدِنا ۜ ۗ هٰذا ما وَعَدَ الرَّحمٰنُ وَصَدَقَ المُرسَلونَ
[52] তারা বলবে, হায় আমাদের দুর্ভোগ! কে আমাদেরকে নিদ্রাস্থল থেকে উখিত করল? রহমান আল্লাহ তো এরই ওয়াদা দিয়েছিলেন এবং রসূলগণ সত্য বলেছিলেন।
[52] They will say: "Woe to us! Who has raised us up from our place of sleep." (It will be said to them): "This is what the Most Gracious (Allâh) had promised, and the Messengers spoke truth!"
[53] إِن كانَت إِلّا صَيحَةً وٰحِدَةً فَإِذا هُم جَميعٌ لَدَينا مُحضَرونَ
[53] এটা তো হবে কেবল এক মহানাদ। সে মুহুর্তেই তাদের সবাইকে আমার সামনে উপস্থিত করা হবে।
[53] It will be but a single Saihah (shout), so behold! They will all be brought up before Us!
[54] فَاليَومَ لا تُظلَمُ نَفسٌ شَيـًٔا وَلا تُجزَونَ إِلّا ما كُنتُم تَعمَلونَ
[54] আজকের দিনে কারও প্রতি জুলুম করা হবে না এবং তোমরা যা করবে কেবল তারই প্রতিদান পাবে।
[54] This Day (Day of Resurrection), none will be wronged in anything, nor will you be requited anything except that which you used to do.
[55] إِنَّ أَصحٰبَ الجَنَّةِ اليَومَ فى شُغُلٍ فٰكِهونَ
[55] এদিন জান্নাতীরা আনন্দে মশগুল থাকবে।
[55] Verily, the dwellers of the Paradise, that Day, will be busy with joyful things.
[56] هُم وَأَزوٰجُهُم فى ظِلٰلٍ عَلَى الأَرائِكِ مُتَّكِـٔونَ
[56] তারা এবং তাদের স্ত্রীরা উপবিষ্ট থাকবে ছায়াময় পরিবেশে আসনে হেলান দিয়ে।
[56] They and their wives will be in pleasant shade, reclining on thrones.
[57] لَهُم فيها فٰكِهَةٌ وَلَهُم ما يَدَّعونَ
[57] সেখানে তাদের জন্যে থাকবে ফল-মূল এবং যা চাইবে।
[57] They will have therein fruits (of all kinds) and all that they ask for.
[58] سَلٰمٌ قَولًا مِن رَبٍّ رَحيمٍ
[58] করুণাময় পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে তাদেরকে বলা হবে সালাম।
[58] (It will be said to them): Salâm (peace be on you),— a Word from the Lord (Allâh), Most Merciful.
[59] وَامتٰزُوا اليَومَ أَيُّهَا المُجرِمونَ
[59] হে অপরাধীরা! আজ তোমরা আলাদা হয়ে যাও।
[59] (It will be said): "And O you Mujrimûn (criminals, polytheists, sinners, disbelievers in the Islâmic Monotheism, wicked evil ones)! Get you apart this Day (from the believers).
[60] ۞ أَلَم أَعهَد إِلَيكُم يٰبَنى ءادَمَ أَن لا تَعبُدُوا الشَّيطٰنَ ۖ إِنَّهُ لَكُم عَدُوٌّ مُبينٌ
[60] হে বনী-আদম! আমি কি তোমাদেরকে বলে রাখিনি যে, শয়তানের এবাদত করো না, সে তোমাদের প্রকাশ্য শত্রু?
[60] Did I not command for you, O Children of Adam, that you should not worship Shaitân (Satan). Verily, he is a plain enemy to you.
[61] وَأَنِ اعبُدونى ۚ هٰذا صِرٰطٌ مُستَقيمٌ
[61] এবং আমার এবাদত কর। এটাই সরল পথ।
[61] And that you should worship Me [Alone — Islâmic Monotheism, and set up not rivals, associate-gods with Me]. That is the Straight Path.
[62] وَلَقَد أَضَلَّ مِنكُم جِبِلًّا كَثيرًا ۖ أَفَلَم تَكونوا تَعقِلونَ
[62] শয়তান তোমাদের অনেক দলকে পথভ্রষ্ট করেছে। তবুও কি তোমরা বুঝনি?
[62] And indeed he (Satan) did lead astray a great multitude of you. Did you not, then, understand?
[63] هٰذِهِ جَهَنَّمُ الَّتى كُنتُم توعَدونَ
[63] এই সে জাহান্নাম, যার ওয়াদা তোমাদেরকে দেয়া হতো।
[63] This is Hell which you were promised!
[64] اصلَوهَا اليَومَ بِما كُنتُم تَكفُرونَ
[64] তোমাদের কুফরের কারণে আজ এতে প্রবেশ কর।
[64] Burn therein this Day, for that you used to disbelieve.
[65] اليَومَ نَختِمُ عَلىٰ أَفوٰهِهِم وَتُكَلِّمُنا أَيديهِم وَتَشهَدُ أَرجُلُهُم بِما كانوا يَكسِبونَ
[65] আজ আমি তাদের মুখে মোহর এঁটে দেব তাদের হাত আমার সাথে কথা বলবে এবং তাদের পা তাদের কৃতকর্মের সাক্ষ্য দেবে।
[65] This Day, We shall seal up their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their legs will bear witness to what they used to earn. (It is said that one's left thigh will be the first to bear the witness). [Tafsir At-Tabarî]
[66] وَلَو نَشاءُ لَطَمَسنا عَلىٰ أَعيُنِهِم فَاستَبَقُوا الصِّرٰطَ فَأَنّىٰ يُبصِرونَ
[66] আমি ইচ্ছা করলে তাদের দৃষ্টি শক্তি বিলুপ্ত করে দিতে পারতাম, তখন তারা পথের দিকে দৌড়াতে চাইলে কেমন করে দেখতে পেত!
[66] And if it had been Our Will, We would surely have wiped out (blinded) their eyes, so that they would struggle for the Path, how then would they see?
[67] وَلَو نَشاءُ لَمَسَخنٰهُم عَلىٰ مَكانَتِهِم فَمَا استَطٰعوا مُضِيًّا وَلا يَرجِعونَ
[67] আমি ইচ্ছা করলে তাদেরকে স্ব স্ব স্থানে আকার বিকৃত করতে পারতাম, ফলে তারা আগেও চলতে পারত না এবং পেছনেও ফিরে যেতে পারত না।
[67] And if it had been Our Will, We could have transformed them (into animals or lifeless objects) in their places. Then they would have been unable to go forward (move about) nor they could have turned back.
[68] وَمَن نُعَمِّرهُ نُنَكِّسهُ فِى الخَلقِ ۖ أَفَلا يَعقِلونَ
[68] আমি যাকে দীর্ঘ জীবন দান করি, তাকে সৃষ্টিগত পূর্বাবস্থায় ফিরিয়ে নেই। তবুও কি তারা বুঝে না?
[68] And he whom We grant long life,— We reverse him in creation (weakness after strength). Will they not then understand?
[69] وَما عَلَّمنٰهُ الشِّعرَ وَما يَنبَغى لَهُ ۚ إِن هُوَ إِلّا ذِكرٌ وَقُرءانٌ مُبينٌ
[69] আমি রসূলকে কবিতা শিক্ষা দেইনি এবং তা তার জন্যে শোভনীয়ও নয়। এটা তো এক উপদেশ ও প্রকাশ্য কোরআন।
[69] And We have not taught him (Muhammad SAW) poetry, nor is it suitable for him. This is only a Reminder and a plain Qur'ân.
[70] لِيُنذِرَ مَن كانَ حَيًّا وَيَحِقَّ القَولُ عَلَى الكٰفِرينَ
[70] যাতে তিনি সতর্ক করেন জীবিতকে এবং যাতে কাফেরদের বিরুদ্ধে অভিযোগ প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়।
[70] That he or it (Muhammad SAW or the Qur'ân) may give warning to him who is living (a healthy minded the believer), and that Word (charge) may be justified against the disbelievers (dead, as they reject the warnings).
[71] أَوَلَم يَرَوا أَنّا خَلَقنا لَهُم مِمّا عَمِلَت أَيدينا أَنعٰمًا فَهُم لَها مٰلِكونَ
[71] তারা কি দেখে না, তাদের জন্যে আমি আমার নিজ হাতের তৈরী বস্তুর দ্বারা চতুস্পদ জন্তু সৃষ্টি করেছি, অতঃপর তারাই এগুলোর মালিক।
[71] Do they not see that We have created for them of what Our Hands have created, the cattle, so that they are their owners.
[72] وَذَلَّلنٰها لَهُم فَمِنها رَكوبُهُم وَمِنها يَأكُلونَ
[72] আমি এগুলোকে তাদের হাতে অসহায় করে দিয়েছি। ফলে এদের কতক তাদের বাহন এবং কতক তারা ভক্ষণ করে।
[72] And We have subdued them unto them so that some of them they have for riding and some they eat.
[73] وَلَهُم فيها مَنٰفِعُ وَمَشارِبُ ۖ أَفَلا يَشكُرونَ
[73] তাদের জন্যে চতুস্পদ জন্তুর মধ্যে অনেক উপকারিতা ও পানীয় রয়েছে। তবুও কেন তারা শুকরিয়া আদায় করে না?
[73] And they have (other) benefits from them, and they get (milk) to drink, will they not then be grateful?
[74] وَاتَّخَذوا مِن دونِ اللَّهِ ءالِهَةً لَعَلَّهُم يُنصَرونَ
[74] তারা আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে অনেক উপাস্য গ্রহণ করেছে যাতে তারা সাহায্যপ্রাপ্ত হতে পারে।
[74] And they have taken besides Allâh âlihah (gods), hoping that they might be helped (by those so— called gods).
[75] لا يَستَطيعونَ نَصرَهُم وَهُم لَهُم جُندٌ مُحضَرونَ
[75] অথচ এসব উপাস্য তাদেরকে সাহায্য করতে সক্ষম হবে না এবং এগুলো তাদের বাহিনী রূপে ধৃত হয়ে আসবে।
[75] They cannot help them, but they will be brought forward as a troop against those who worshipped them (at the time of Reckoning).
[76] فَلا يَحزُنكَ قَولُهُم ۘ إِنّا نَعلَمُ ما يُسِرّونَ وَما يُعلِنونَ
[76] অতএব তাদের কথা যেন আপনাকে দুঃখিত না করে। আমি জানি যা তারা গোপনে করে এবং যা তারা প্রকাশ্যে করে।
[76] So let not their speech, then, grieve you (O Muhammad SAW). Verily, We know what they conceal and what they reveal.
[77] أَوَلَم يَرَ الإِنسٰنُ أَنّا خَلَقنٰهُ مِن نُطفَةٍ فَإِذا هُوَ خَصيمٌ مُبينٌ
[77] মানুষ কি দেখে না যে, আমি তাকে সৃষ্টি করেছি বীর্য থেকে? অতঃপর তখনই সে হয়ে গেল প্রকাশ্য বাকবিতন্ডাকারী।
[77] Does not man see that We have created him from Nutfah (mixed male and female discharge — semen drops). Yet behold! he (stands forth) as an open opponent.
[78] وَضَرَبَ لَنا مَثَلًا وَنَسِىَ خَلقَهُ ۖ قالَ مَن يُحىِ العِظٰمَ وَهِىَ رَميمٌ
[78] সে আমার সম্পর্কে এক অদ্ভূত কথা বর্ণনা করে, অথচ সে নিজের সৃষ্টি ভুলে যায়। সে বলে কে জীবিত করবে অস্থিসমূহকে যখন সেগুলো পচে গলে যাবে?
[78] And he puts forth for Us a parable, and forgets his own creation. He says: "Who will give life to these bones after they are rotten and have become dust?"
[79] قُل يُحييهَا الَّذى أَنشَأَها أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ ۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ خَلقٍ عَليمٌ
[79] বলুন, যিনি প্রথমবার সেগুলোকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন, তিনিই জীবিত করবেন। তিনি সর্বপ্রকার সৃষ্টি সম্পর্কে সম্যক অবগত।
[79] Say: (O Muhammad SAW) "He will give life to them Who created them for the first time! And He is the All-Knower of every creation!"
[80] الَّذى جَعَلَ لَكُم مِنَ الشَّجَرِ الأَخضَرِ نارًا فَإِذا أَنتُم مِنهُ توقِدونَ
[80] যিনি তোমাদের জন্যে সবুজ বৃক্ষ থেকে আগুন উৎপন্ন করেন। তখন তোমরা তা থেকে আগুন জ্বালাও।
[80] He, Who produces for you fire out of the green tree, when behold! You kindle therewith.
[81] أَوَلَيسَ الَّذى خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضَ بِقٰدِرٍ عَلىٰ أَن يَخلُقَ مِثلَهُم ۚ بَلىٰ وَهُوَ الخَلّٰقُ العَليمُ
[81] যিনি নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডল সৃষ্টি করেছেন, তিনিই কি তাদের অনুরূপ সৃষ্টি করতে সক্ষম নন? হ্যাঁ তিনি মহাস্রষ্টা, সর্বজ্ঞ।
[81] Is not He, Who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the like of them? Yes, indeed! He is the All-Knowing Supreme Creator.
[82] إِنَّما أَمرُهُ إِذا أَرادَ شَيـًٔا أَن يَقولَ لَهُ كُن فَيَكونُ
[82] তিনি যখন কোন কিছু করতে ইচ্ছা করেন, তখন তাকে কেবল বলে দেন, ‘হও’ তখনই তা হয়ে যায়।
[82] Verily, His Command, when He intends a thing, is only that He says to it, "Be!" and it is!
[83] فَسُبحٰنَ الَّذى بِيَدِهِ مَلَكوتُ كُلِّ شَيءٍ وَإِلَيهِ تُرجَعونَ
[83] অতএব পবিত্র তিনি, যাঁর হাতে সবকিছুর রাজত্ব এবং তাঁরই দিকে তোমরা প্রত্যাবর্তিত হবে।
[83] So glorified is He and Exalted above all that they associate with Him, and in Whose Hands is the dominion of all things: and to Him you shall be returned.

[1] ইয়া-সীন
[1] Yâ-Sîn. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Qur'ân, and none but Allâh (Alone) knows their meanings.]
[2] وَالقُرءانِ الحَكيمِ
[2] প্রজ্ঞাময় কোরআনের কসম।
[2] By the Qur'ân, full of wisdom (i.e. full of laws, evidences, and proofs),
[3] إِنَّكَ لَمِنَ المُرسَلينَ
[3] নিশ্চয় আপনি প্রেরিত রসূলগণের একজন।
[3] Truly, you (O Muhammad SAW) are one of the Messengers,
[4] عَلىٰ صِرٰطٍ مُستَقيمٍ
[4] সরল পথে প্রতিষ্ঠিত।
[4] On the Straight Path (i.e. on Allâh's religion of Islâmic Monotheism).
[5] تَنزيلَ العَزيزِ الرَّحيمِ
[5] কোরআন পরাক্রমশালী পরম দয়ালু আল্লাহর তরফ থেকে অবতীর্ণ,
[5] (This is a Revelation) sent down by the All¬Mighty, the Most Merciful,
[6] لِتُنذِرَ قَومًا ما أُنذِرَ ءاباؤُهُم فَهُم غٰفِلونَ
[6] যাতে আপনি এমন এক জাতিকে সতর্ক করেন, যাদের পূর্ব পুরুষগণকেও সতর্ক করা হয়নি। ফলে তারা গাফেল।
[6] In order that you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are heedless.
[7] لَقَد حَقَّ القَولُ عَلىٰ أَكثَرِهِم فَهُم لا يُؤمِنونَ
[7] তাদের অধিকাংশের জন্যে শাস্তির বিষয় অবধারিত হয়েছে। সুতরাং তারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করবে না।
[7] Indeed the Word (of punishment) has proved true against most of them, so they will not believe.
[8] إِنّا جَعَلنا فى أَعنٰقِهِم أَغلٰلًا فَهِىَ إِلَى الأَذقانِ فَهُم مُقمَحونَ
[8] আমি তাদের গর্দানে চিবুক পর্যন্ত বেড়ী পরিয়েছি। ফলে তাদের মস্তক উর্দ্ধমুখী হয়ে গেছে।
[8] Verily! We have put on their necks iron collars reaching to the chins, so that their heads are raised up.
[9] وَجَعَلنا مِن بَينِ أَيديهِم سَدًّا وَمِن خَلفِهِم سَدًّا فَأَغشَينٰهُم فَهُم لا يُبصِرونَ
[9] আমি তাদের সামনে ও পিছনে প্রাচীর স্থাপন করেছি, অতঃপর তাদেরকে আবৃত করে দিয়েছি, ফলে তারা দেখে না।
[9] And We have put a barrier before them, and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up, so that they cannot see.
[10] وَسَواءٌ عَلَيهِم ءَأَنذَرتَهُم أَم لَم تُنذِرهُم لا يُؤمِنونَ
[10] আপনি তাদেরকে সতর্ক করুন বা না করুন, তাদের পক্ষে দুয়েই সমান; তারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করবে না।
[10] It is the same to them whether you warn them or you warn them not, they will not believe.
[11] إِنَّما تُنذِرُ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ الذِّكرَ وَخَشِىَ الرَّحمٰنَ بِالغَيبِ ۖ فَبَشِّرهُ بِمَغفِرَةٍ وَأَجرٍ كَريمٍ
[11] আপনি কেবল তাদেরকেই সতর্ক করতে পারেন, যারা উপদেশ অনুসরণ করে এবং দয়াময় আল্লাহকে না দেখে ভয় করে। অতএব আপনি তাদেরকে সুসংবাদ দিয়ে দিন ক্ষমা ও সম্মানজনক পুরস্কারের।
[11] You can only warn him who follows the Reminder (the Qur'ân), and fears the Most Gracious (Allâh) unseen. Bear you to such one the glad tidings of forgiveness, and a generous reward (i.e. Paradise).
[12] إِنّا نَحنُ نُحىِ المَوتىٰ وَنَكتُبُ ما قَدَّموا وَءاثٰرَهُم ۚ وَكُلَّ شَيءٍ أَحصَينٰهُ فى إِمامٍ مُبينٍ
[12] আমিই মৃতদেরকে জীবিত করি এবং তাদের কর্ম ও কীর্তিসমূহ লিপিবদ্ধ করি। আমি প্রত্যেক বস্তু স্পষ্ট কিতাবে সংরক্ষিত রেখেছি।
[12] Verily, We give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before (them), and their traces[1] and all things We have recorded with numbers (as a record) in a Clear Book.
[13] وَاضرِب لَهُم مَثَلًا أَصحٰبَ القَريَةِ إِذ جاءَهَا المُرسَلونَ
[13] আপনি তাদের কাছে সে জনপদের অধিবাসীদের দৃষ্টান্ত বর্ণনা করুন, যখন সেখানে রসূল আগমন করেছিলেন।
[13] And put forward to them a similitude; the (story of the) dwellers of the town, [It is said that the town was Antioch (Antakiya)], when there came Messengers to them.
[14] إِذ أَرسَلنا إِلَيهِمُ اثنَينِ فَكَذَّبوهُما فَعَزَّزنا بِثالِثٍ فَقالوا إِنّا إِلَيكُم مُرسَلونَ
[14] আমি তাদের নিকট দুজন রসূল প্রেরণ করেছিলাম, অতঃপর ওরা তাদেরকে মিথ্যা প্রতিপন্ন করল। তখন আমি তাদেরকে শক্তিশালী করলাম তৃতীয় একজনের মাধ্যমে। তারা সবাই বলল, আমরা তোমাদের প্রতি প্রেরিত হয়েছি।
[14] When We sent to them two Messengers, they belied them both, so We reinforced them with a third, and they said: "Verily! We have been sent to you as Messengers."
[15] قالوا ما أَنتُم إِلّا بَشَرٌ مِثلُنا وَما أَنزَلَ الرَّحمٰنُ مِن شَيءٍ إِن أَنتُم إِلّا تَكذِبونَ
[15] তারা বলল, তোমরা তো আমাদের মতই মানুষ, রহমান আল্লাহ কিছুই নাযিল করেননি। তোমরা কেবল মিথ্যাই বলে যাচ্ছ।
[15] They (people of the town) said: "You are only human beings like ourselves, and the Most Gracious (Allâh) has revealed nothing, you are only telling lies."
[16] قالوا رَبُّنا يَعلَمُ إِنّا إِلَيكُم لَمُرسَلونَ
[16] রাসূলগণ বলল, আমাদের পরওয়ারদেগার জানেন, আমরা অবশ্যই তোমাদের প্রতি প্রেরিত হয়েছি।
[16] The Messengers said: "Our Lord knows that we have been sent as Messengers to you,
[17] وَما عَلَينا إِلَّا البَلٰغُ المُبينُ
[17] পরিস্কারভাবে আল্লাহর বাণী পৌছে দেয়াই আমাদের দায়িত্ব।
[17] "And our duty is only to convey plainly (the Message)."
[18] قالوا إِنّا تَطَيَّرنا بِكُم ۖ لَئِن لَم تَنتَهوا لَنَرجُمَنَّكُم وَلَيَمَسَّنَّكُم مِنّا عَذابٌ أَليمٌ
[18] তারা বলল, আমরা তোমাদেরকে অশুভ-অকল্যাণকর দেখছি। যদি তোমরা বিরত না হও, তবে অবশ্যই তোমাদেরকে প্রস্তর বর্ষণে হত্যা করব এবং আমাদের পক্ষ থেকে তোমাদেরকে যন্ত্রনাদায়ক শাস্তি স্পর্শ করবে।
[18] They (people) said: "For us, we see an evil omen from you, if you cease not, we will surely stone you, and a painful torment will touch you from us."
[19] قالوا طٰئِرُكُم مَعَكُم ۚ أَئِن ذُكِّرتُم ۚ بَل أَنتُم قَومٌ مُسرِفونَ
[19] রসূলগণ বলল, তোমাদের অকল্যাণ তোমাদের সাথেই! এটা কি এজন্যে যে, আমরা তোমাদেরকে সদুপদেশ দিয়েছি? বস্তুতঃ তোমরা সীমা লংঘনকারী সম্প্রদায় বৈ নও।
[19] They (Messengers) said: "Your evil omens be with you! (Do you call it "evil omen") because you are admonished? Nay, but you are a people Musrifûn (transgressing all bounds by committing all kinds of great sins, and by disobeying Allâh).
[20] وَجاءَ مِن أَقصَا المَدينَةِ رَجُلٌ يَسعىٰ قالَ يٰقَومِ اتَّبِعُوا المُرسَلينَ
[20] অতঃপর শহরের প্রান্তভাগ থেকে এক ব্যক্তি দৌড়ে এল। সে বলল, হে আমার সম্প্রদায় তোমরা রসূলগণের অনুসরণ কর।
[20] And there came a man running from the farthest part of the town. He said: "O my people! Obey the Messengers.
[21] اتَّبِعوا مَن لا يَسـَٔلُكُم أَجرًا وَهُم مُهتَدونَ
[21] অনুসরণ কর তাদের, যারা তোমাদের কাছে কোন বিনিময় কামনা করে না, অথচ তারা সুপথ প্রাপ্ত।
[21] "Obey those who ask no wages of you (for themselves), and who are rightly guided.
[22] وَما لِىَ لا أَعبُدُ الَّذى فَطَرَنى وَإِلَيهِ تُرجَعونَ
[22] আমার কি হল যে, যিনি আমাকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন এবং যার কাছে তোমরা প্রত্যাবর্তিত হবে, আমি তাঁর এবাদত করব না?
[22] "And why should I not worship Him (Allâh Alone) Who has created me and to Whom you shall be returned.
[23] ءَأَتَّخِذُ مِن دونِهِ ءالِهَةً إِن يُرِدنِ الرَّحمٰنُ بِضُرٍّ لا تُغنِ عَنّى شَفٰعَتُهُم شَيـًٔا وَلا يُنقِذونِ
[23] আমি কি তাঁর পরিবর্তে অন্যান্যদেরকে উপাস্যরূপে গ্রহণ করব? করুণাময় যদি আমাকে কষ্টে নিপতিত করতে চান, তবে তাদের সুপারিশ আমার কোনই কাজে আসবে না এবং তারা আমাকে রক্ষাও করতে পারবে না।
[23] "Shall I take besides Him âlihah (gods)? if the Most Gracious (Allâh) intends me any harm, their intercession will be of no use for me whatsoever, nor can they save me?
[24] إِنّى إِذًا لَفى ضَلٰلٍ مُبينٍ
[24] এরূপ করলে আমি প্রকাশ্য পথভ্রষ্টতায় পতিত হব।
[24] "Then verily, I should be in plain error.
[25] إِنّى ءامَنتُ بِرَبِّكُم فَاسمَعونِ
[25] আমি নিশ্চিতভাবে তোমাদের পালনকর্তার প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করলাম। অতএব আমার কাছ থেকে শুনে নাও।
[25] Verily! I have believed in your Lord, so listen to me!"
[26] قيلَ ادخُلِ الجَنَّةَ ۖ قالَ يٰلَيتَ قَومى يَعلَمونَ
[26] তাকে বলা হল, জান্নাতে প্রবেশ কর। সে বলল হায়, আমার সম্প্রদায় যদি কোন ক্রমে জানতে পারত-
[26] It was said (to him when the disbelievers killed him): "Enter Paradise." He said: "Would that my people knew!
[27] بِما غَفَرَ لى رَبّى وَجَعَلَنى مِنَ المُكرَمينَ
[27] যে আমার পরওয়ারদেগার আমাকে ক্ষমা করেছেন এবং আমাকে সম্মানিতদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত করেছেন।
[27] "That my Lord (Allâh) has forgiven me, and made me of the honoured ones!"
[28] ۞ وَما أَنزَلنا عَلىٰ قَومِهِ مِن بَعدِهِ مِن جُندٍ مِنَ السَّماءِ وَما كُنّا مُنزِلينَ
[28] তারপর আমি তার সম্প্রদায়ের উপর আকাশ থেকে কোন বাহিনী অবতীর্ণ করিনি এবং আমি (বাহিনী) অবতরণকারীও না।
[28] And We sent not against his people after him a host from the heaven, nor was it needful for Us to send (such a thing).
[29] إِن كانَت إِلّا صَيحَةً وٰحِدَةً فَإِذا هُم خٰمِدونَ
[29] বস্তুতঃ এ ছিল এক মহানাদ। অতঃপর সঙ্গে সঙ্গে সবাই স্তদ্ধ হয়ে গেল।
[29] It was but one Saihah (shout) and lo! they (all) were still (silent,dead,destroyed).
[30] يٰحَسرَةً عَلَى العِبادِ ۚ ما يَأتيهِم مِن رَسولٍ إِلّا كانوا بِهِ يَستَهزِءونَ
[30] বান্দাদের জন্যে আক্ষেপ যে, তাদের কাছে এমন কোন রসূলই আগমন করেনি যাদের প্রতি তারা বিদ্রুপ করে না।
[30] Alas for mankind! There never came a Messenger to them but they used to mock at him.
[31] أَلَم يَرَوا كَم أَهلَكنا قَبلَهُم مِنَ القُرونِ أَنَّهُم إِلَيهِم لا يَرجِعونَ
[31] তারা কি প্রত্যক্ষ করে না, তাদের পূর্বে আমি কত সম্প্রদায়কে ধ্বংস করেছি যে, তারা তাদের মধ্যে আর ফিরে আসবে না।
[31] Do they not see how many of the generations We have destroyed before them? Verily, they will not return to them.
[32] وَإِن كُلٌّ لَمّا جَميعٌ لَدَينا مُحضَرونَ
[32] ওদের সবাইকে সমবেত অবস্থায় আমার দরবারে উপস্থিত হতেই হবে।
[32] And surely, all,— everyone of them will be brought before Us.
[33] وَءايَةٌ لَهُمُ الأَرضُ المَيتَةُ أَحيَينٰها وَأَخرَجنا مِنها حَبًّا فَمِنهُ يَأكُلونَ
[33] তাদের জন্যে একটি নিদর্শন মৃত পৃথিবী। আমি একে সঞ্জীবিত করি এবং তা থেকে উৎপন্ন করি শস্য, তারা তা থেকে ভক্ষণ করে।
[33] And a sign for them is the dead land. We gave it life, and We bring forth from it grains, so that they eat thereof.
[34] وَجَعَلنا فيها جَنّٰتٍ مِن نَخيلٍ وَأَعنٰبٍ وَفَجَّرنا فيها مِنَ العُيونِ
[34] আমি তাতে সৃষ্টি করি খেজুর ও আঙ্গুরের বাগান এবং প্রবাহিত করি তাতে নির্ঝরিণী।
[34] And We have made therein gardens of date-palms and grapes, and We have caused springs of water to gush forth therein.
[35] لِيَأكُلوا مِن ثَمَرِهِ وَما عَمِلَتهُ أَيديهِم ۖ أَفَلا يَشكُرونَ
[35] যাতে তারা তার ফল খায়। তাদের হাত একে সৃষ্টি করে না। অতঃপর তারা কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করে না কেন?
[35] So that they may eat of the fruit thereof,— and their hands made it not. Will they not, then, give thanks?
[36] سُبحٰنَ الَّذى خَلَقَ الأَزوٰجَ كُلَّها مِمّا تُنبِتُ الأَرضُ وَمِن أَنفُسِهِم وَمِمّا لا يَعلَمونَ
[36] পবিত্র তিনি যিনি যমীন থেকে উৎপন্ন উদ্ভিদকে, তাদেরই মানুষকে এবং যা তারা জানে না, তার প্রত্যেককে জোড়া জোড়া করে সৃষ্টি করেছেন।
[36] Glory is to Him, Who has created all the pairs of that which the earth produces, as well as of their own (human) kind (male and female), and of that which they know not.
[37] وَءايَةٌ لَهُمُ الَّيلُ نَسلَخُ مِنهُ النَّهارَ فَإِذا هُم مُظلِمونَ
[37] তাদের জন্যে এক নিদর্শন রাত্রি, আমি তা থেকে দিনকে অপসারিত করি, তখনই তারা অন্ধকারে থেকে যায়।
[37] And a sign for them is the night, We withdraw therefrom the day, and behold, they are in darkness.
[38] وَالشَّمسُ تَجرى لِمُستَقَرٍّ لَها ۚ ذٰلِكَ تَقديرُ العَزيزِ العَليمِ
[38] সূর্য তার নির্দিষ্ট অবস্থানে আবর্তন করে। এটা পরাক্রমশালী, সর্বজ্ঞ, আল্লাহর নিয়ন্ত্রণ।
[38] And the sun runs on its fixed course for a term (appointed). That is the Decree of the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing.
[39] وَالقَمَرَ قَدَّرنٰهُ مَنازِلَ حَتّىٰ عادَ كَالعُرجونِ القَديمِ
[39] চন্দ্রের জন্যে আমি বিভিন্ন মনযিল নির্ধারিত করেছি। অবশেষে সে পুরাতন খর্জুর শাখার অনুরূপ হয়ে যায়।
[39] And the moon, We have measured for it mansions (to traverse) till it returns like the old dried curved date stalk.
[40] لَا الشَّمسُ يَنبَغى لَها أَن تُدرِكَ القَمَرَ وَلَا الَّيلُ سابِقُ النَّهارِ ۚ وَكُلٌّ فى فَلَكٍ يَسبَحونَ
[40] সূর্য নাগাল পেতে পারে না চন্দ্রের এবং রাত্রি অগ্রে চলে না দিনের প্রত্যেকেই আপন আপন কক্ষপথে সন্তরণ করে।
[40] It is not for the sun to overtake the moon, nor does the night outstrip the day. They all float, each in an orbit.
[41] وَءايَةٌ لَهُم أَنّا حَمَلنا ذُرِّيَّتَهُم فِى الفُلكِ المَشحونِ
[41] তাদের জন্যে একটি নিদর্শন এই যে, আমি তাদের সন্তান-সন্ততিকে বোঝাই নৌকায় আরোহণ করিয়েছি।
[41] And an Ayâh (sign) for them is that We bore their offspring in the laden ship [of Nûh (Noah)].
[42] وَخَلَقنا لَهُم مِن مِثلِهِ ما يَركَبونَ
[42] এবং তাদের জন্যে নৌকার অনুরূপ যানবাহন সৃষ্টি করেছি, যাতে তারা আরোহণ করে।
[42] d We have created for them of the like thereunto, on which they ride.
[43] وَإِن نَشَأ نُغرِقهُم فَلا صَريخَ لَهُم وَلا هُم يُنقَذونَ
[43] আমি ইচ্ছা করলে তাদেরকে নিমজ্জত করতে পারি, তখন তাদের জন্যে কোন সাহায্যকারী নেই এবং তারা পরিত্রাণও পাবে না।
[43] And if We will, We shall drown them, and there will be no shout (or helper) for them (to hear their cry for help) nor will they be saved.
[44] إِلّا رَحمَةً مِنّا وَمَتٰعًا إِلىٰ حينٍ
[44] কিন্তু আমারই পক্ষ থেকে কৃপা এবং তাদেরকে কিছু কাল জীবনোপভোগ করার সুযোগ দেয়ার কারণে তা করি না।
[44] Unless it be a mercy from Us, and as an enjoyment for a while.
[45] وَإِذا قيلَ لَهُمُ اتَّقوا ما بَينَ أَيديكُم وَما خَلفَكُم لَعَلَّكُم تُرحَمونَ
[45] আর যখন তাদেরকে বলা হয়, তোমরা সামনের আযাব ও পেছনের আযাবকে ভয় কর, যাতে তোমাদের প্রতি অনুগ্রহ করা হয়, তখন তারা তা অগ্রাহ্য করে।
[45] And when it is said to them: "Fear of that which is before you (worldly torments), and that which is behind you (torments in the Hereafter), in order that you may receive Mercy (i.e. if you believe in Allâh’s religion - Islâmic Monotheism, and avoid polytheism, and obey Allâh with righteous deeds)."
[46] وَما تَأتيهِم مِن ءايَةٍ مِن ءايٰتِ رَبِّهِم إِلّا كانوا عَنها مُعرِضينَ
[46] যখনই তাদের পালনকর্তার নির্দেশাবলীর মধ্যে থেকে কোন নির্দেশ তাদের কাছে আসে, তখনই তারা তা থেকে মুখে ফিরিয়ে নেয়।
[46] And never came an Ayâh from among the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of their Lord to them, but they did turn away from it.
[47] وَإِذا قيلَ لَهُم أَنفِقوا مِمّا رَزَقَكُمُ اللَّهُ قالَ الَّذينَ كَفَروا لِلَّذينَ ءامَنوا أَنُطعِمُ مَن لَو يَشاءُ اللَّهُ أَطعَمَهُ إِن أَنتُم إِلّا فى ضَلٰلٍ مُبينٍ
[47] যখন তাদেরকে বলা হয়, আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে যা দিয়েছেন, তা থেকে ব্যয় কর। তখন কাফেররা মুমিনগণকে বলে, ইচ্ছা করলেই আল্লাহ যাকে খাওয়াতে পারতেন, আমরা তাকে কেন খাওয়াব? তোমরা তো স্পষ্ট বিভ্রান্তিতে পতিত রয়েছ।
[47] And when it is said to them: "Spend of that with which Allâh has provided you," those who disbelieve say to those who believe: "Shall we feed those whom, if Allâh willed, He (Himself) would have fed? You are only in a plain error."
[48] وَيَقولونَ مَتىٰ هٰذَا الوَعدُ إِن كُنتُم صٰدِقينَ
[48] তারা বলে, তোমরা সত্যবাদী হলে বল এই ওয়াদা কবে পূর্ণ হবে?
[48] And they say: "When will this promise (i.e. Resurrection) be fulfilled, if you are truthful?"
[49] ما يَنظُرونَ إِلّا صَيحَةً وٰحِدَةً تَأخُذُهُم وَهُم يَخِصِّمونَ
[49] তারা কেবল একটা ভয়াবহ শব্দের অপেক্ষা করছে, যা তাদেরকে আঘাত করবে তাদের পারস্পরিক বাকবিতন্ডাকালে।
[49] They await only but a single Saihah (shout), which will seize them while they are disputing!
[50] فَلا يَستَطيعونَ تَوصِيَةً وَلا إِلىٰ أَهلِهِم يَرجِعونَ
[50] তখন তারা ওছিয়ত করতেও সক্ষম হবে না। এবং তাদের পরিবার-পরিজনের কাছেও ফিরে যেতে পারবে না।
[50] Then they will not be able to make bequest, nor they will return to their family.
[51] وَنُفِخَ فِى الصّورِ فَإِذا هُم مِنَ الأَجداثِ إِلىٰ رَبِّهِم يَنسِلونَ
[51] শিংগায় ফুঁক দেয়া হবে, তখনই তারা কবর থেকে তাদের পালনকর্তার দিকে ছুটে চলবে।
[51] And the Trumpet will be blown (i.e. the second blowing) and behold from the graves they will come out quickly to their Lord.
[52] قالوا يٰوَيلَنا مَن بَعَثَنا مِن مَرقَدِنا ۜ ۗ هٰذا ما وَعَدَ الرَّحمٰنُ وَصَدَقَ المُرسَلونَ
[52] তারা বলবে, হায় আমাদের দুর্ভোগ! কে আমাদেরকে নিদ্রাস্থল থেকে উখিত করল? রহমান আল্লাহ তো এরই ওয়াদা দিয়েছিলেন এবং রসূলগণ সত্য বলেছিলেন।
[52] They will say: "Woe to us! Who has raised us up from our place of sleep." (It will be said to them): "This is what the Most Gracious (Allâh) had promised, and the Messengers spoke truth!"
[53] إِن كانَت إِلّا صَيحَةً وٰحِدَةً فَإِذا هُم جَميعٌ لَدَينا مُحضَرونَ
[53] এটা তো হবে কেবল এক মহানাদ। সে মুহুর্তেই তাদের সবাইকে আমার সামনে উপস্থিত করা হবে।
[53] It will be but a single Saihah (shout), so behold! They will all be brought up before Us!
[54] فَاليَومَ لا تُظلَمُ نَفسٌ شَيـًٔا وَلا تُجزَونَ إِلّا ما كُنتُم تَعمَلونَ
[54] আজকের দিনে কারও প্রতি জুলুম করা হবে না এবং তোমরা যা করবে কেবল তারই প্রতিদান পাবে।
[54] This Day (Day of Resurrection), none will be wronged in anything, nor will you be requited anything except that which you used to do.
[55] إِنَّ أَصحٰبَ الجَنَّةِ اليَومَ فى شُغُلٍ فٰكِهونَ
[55] এদিন জান্নাতীরা আনন্দে মশগুল থাকবে।
[55] Verily, the dwellers of the Paradise, that Day, will be busy with joyful things.
[56] هُم وَأَزوٰجُهُم فى ظِلٰلٍ عَلَى الأَرائِكِ مُتَّكِـٔونَ
[56] তারা এবং তাদের স্ত্রীরা উপবিষ্ট থাকবে ছায়াময় পরিবেশে আসনে হেলান দিয়ে।
[56] They and their wives will be in pleasant shade, reclining on thrones.
[57] لَهُم فيها فٰكِهَةٌ وَلَهُم ما يَدَّعونَ
[57] সেখানে তাদের জন্যে থাকবে ফল-মূল এবং যা চাইবে।
[57] They will have therein fruits (of all kinds) and all that they ask for.
[58] سَلٰمٌ قَولًا مِن رَبٍّ رَحيمٍ
[58] করুণাময় পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে তাদেরকে বলা হবে সালাম।
[58] (It will be said to them): Salâm (peace be on you),— a Word from the Lord (Allâh), Most Merciful.
[59] وَامتٰزُوا اليَومَ أَيُّهَا المُجرِمونَ
[59] হে অপরাধীরা! আজ তোমরা আলাদা হয়ে যাও।
[59] (It will be said): "And O you Mujrimûn (criminals, polytheists, sinners, disbelievers in the Islâmic Monotheism, wicked evil ones)! Get you apart this Day (from the believers).
[60] ۞ أَلَم أَعهَد إِلَيكُم يٰبَنى ءادَمَ أَن لا تَعبُدُوا الشَّيطٰنَ ۖ إِنَّهُ لَكُم عَدُوٌّ مُبينٌ
[60] হে বনী-আদম! আমি কি তোমাদেরকে বলে রাখিনি যে, শয়তানের এবাদত করো না, সে তোমাদের প্রকাশ্য শত্রু?
[60] Did I not command for you, O Children of Adam, that you should not worship Shaitân (Satan). Verily, he is a plain enemy to you.
[61] وَأَنِ اعبُدونى ۚ هٰذا صِرٰطٌ مُستَقيمٌ
[61] এবং আমার এবাদত কর। এটাই সরল পথ।
[61] And that you should worship Me [Alone — Islâmic Monotheism, and set up not rivals, associate-gods with Me]. That is the Straight Path.
[62] وَلَقَد أَضَلَّ مِنكُم جِبِلًّا كَثيرًا ۖ أَفَلَم تَكونوا تَعقِلونَ
[62] শয়তান তোমাদের অনেক দলকে পথভ্রষ্ট করেছে। তবুও কি তোমরা বুঝনি?
[62] And indeed he (Satan) did lead astray a great multitude of you. Did you not, then, understand?
[63] هٰذِهِ جَهَنَّمُ الَّتى كُنتُم توعَدونَ
[63] এই সে জাহান্নাম, যার ওয়াদা তোমাদেরকে দেয়া হতো।
[63] This is Hell which you were promised!
[64] اصلَوهَا اليَومَ بِما كُنتُم تَكفُرونَ
[64] তোমাদের কুফরের কারণে আজ এতে প্রবেশ কর।
[64] Burn therein this Day, for that you used to disbelieve.
[65] اليَومَ نَختِمُ عَلىٰ أَفوٰهِهِم وَتُكَلِّمُنا أَيديهِم وَتَشهَدُ أَرجُلُهُم بِما كانوا يَكسِبونَ
[65] আজ আমি তাদের মুখে মোহর এঁটে দেব তাদের হাত আমার সাথে কথা বলবে এবং তাদের পা তাদের কৃতকর্মের সাক্ষ্য দেবে।
[65] This Day, We shall seal up their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their legs will bear witness to what they used to earn. (It is said that one's left thigh will be the first to bear the witness). [Tafsir At-Tabarî]
[66] وَلَو نَشاءُ لَطَمَسنا عَلىٰ أَعيُنِهِم فَاستَبَقُوا الصِّرٰطَ فَأَنّىٰ يُبصِرونَ
[66] আমি ইচ্ছা করলে তাদের দৃষ্টি শক্তি বিলুপ্ত করে দিতে পারতাম, তখন তারা পথের দিকে দৌড়াতে চাইলে কেমন করে দেখতে পেত!
[66] And if it had been Our Will, We would surely have wiped out (blinded) their eyes, so that they would struggle for the Path, how then would they see?
[67] وَلَو نَشاءُ لَمَسَخنٰهُم عَلىٰ مَكانَتِهِم فَمَا استَطٰعوا مُضِيًّا وَلا يَرجِعونَ
[67] আমি ইচ্ছা করলে তাদেরকে স্ব স্ব স্থানে আকার বিকৃত করতে পারতাম, ফলে তারা আগেও চলতে পারত না এবং পেছনেও ফিরে যেতে পারত না।
[67] And if it had been Our Will, We could have transformed them (into animals or lifeless objects) in their places. Then they would have been unable to go forward (move about) nor they could have turned back.
[68] وَمَن نُعَمِّرهُ نُنَكِّسهُ فِى الخَلقِ ۖ أَفَلا يَعقِلونَ
[68] আমি যাকে দীর্ঘ জীবন দান করি, তাকে সৃষ্টিগত পূর্বাবস্থায় ফিরিয়ে নেই। তবুও কি তারা বুঝে না?
[68] And he whom We grant long life,— We reverse him in creation (weakness after strength). Will they not then understand?
[69] وَما عَلَّمنٰهُ الشِّعرَ وَما يَنبَغى لَهُ ۚ إِن هُوَ إِلّا ذِكرٌ وَقُرءانٌ مُبينٌ
[69] আমি রসূলকে কবিতা শিক্ষা দেইনি এবং তা তার জন্যে শোভনীয়ও নয়। এটা তো এক উপদেশ ও প্রকাশ্য কোরআন।
[69] And We have not taught him (Muhammad SAW) poetry, nor is it suitable for him. This is only a Reminder and a plain Qur'ân.
[70] لِيُنذِرَ مَن كانَ حَيًّا وَيَحِقَّ القَولُ عَلَى الكٰفِرينَ
[70] যাতে তিনি সতর্ক করেন জীবিতকে এবং যাতে কাফেরদের বিরুদ্ধে অভিযোগ প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়।
[70] That he or it (Muhammad SAW or the Qur'ân) may give warning to him who is living (a healthy minded the believer), and that Word (charge) may be justified against the disbelievers (dead, as they reject the warnings).
[71] أَوَلَم يَرَوا أَنّا خَلَقنا لَهُم مِمّا عَمِلَت أَيدينا أَنعٰمًا فَهُم لَها مٰلِكونَ
[71] তারা কি দেখে না, তাদের জন্যে আমি আমার নিজ হাতের তৈরী বস্তুর দ্বারা চতুস্পদ জন্তু সৃষ্টি করেছি, অতঃপর তারাই এগুলোর মালিক।
[71] Do they not see that We have created for them of what Our Hands have created, the cattle, so that they are their owners.
[72] وَذَلَّلنٰها لَهُم فَمِنها رَكوبُهُم وَمِنها يَأكُلونَ
[72] আমি এগুলোকে তাদের হাতে অসহায় করে দিয়েছি। ফলে এদের কতক তাদের বাহন এবং কতক তারা ভক্ষণ করে।
[72] And We have subdued them unto them so that some of them they have for riding and some they eat.
[73] وَلَهُم فيها مَنٰفِعُ وَمَشارِبُ ۖ أَفَلا يَشكُرونَ
[73] তাদের জন্যে চতুস্পদ জন্তুর মধ্যে অনেক উপকারিতা ও পানীয় রয়েছে। তবুও কেন তারা শুকরিয়া আদায় করে না?
[73] And they have (other) benefits from them, and they get (milk) to drink, will they not then be grateful?
[74] وَاتَّخَذوا مِن دونِ اللَّهِ ءالِهَةً لَعَلَّهُم يُنصَرونَ
[74] তারা আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে অনেক উপাস্য গ্রহণ করেছে যাতে তারা সাহায্যপ্রাপ্ত হতে পারে।
[74] And they have taken besides Allâh âlihah (gods), hoping that they might be helped (by those so— called gods).
[75] لا يَستَطيعونَ نَصرَهُم وَهُم لَهُم جُندٌ مُحضَرونَ
[75] অথচ এসব উপাস্য তাদেরকে সাহায্য করতে সক্ষম হবে না এবং এগুলো তাদের বাহিনী রূপে ধৃত হয়ে আসবে।
[75] They cannot help them, but they will be brought forward as a troop against those who worshipped them (at the time of Reckoning).
[76] فَلا يَحزُنكَ قَولُهُم ۘ إِنّا نَعلَمُ ما يُسِرّونَ وَما يُعلِنونَ
[76] অতএব তাদের কথা যেন আপনাকে দুঃখিত না করে। আমি জানি যা তারা গোপনে করে এবং যা তারা প্রকাশ্যে করে।
[76] So let not their speech, then, grieve you (O Muhammad SAW). Verily, We know what they conceal and what they reveal.
[77] أَوَلَم يَرَ الإِنسٰنُ أَنّا خَلَقنٰهُ مِن نُطفَةٍ فَإِذا هُوَ خَصيمٌ مُبينٌ
[77] মানুষ কি দেখে না যে, আমি তাকে সৃষ্টি করেছি বীর্য থেকে? অতঃপর তখনই সে হয়ে গেল প্রকাশ্য বাকবিতন্ডাকারী।
[77] Does not man see that We have created him from Nutfah (mixed male and female discharge — semen drops). Yet behold! he (stands forth) as an open opponent.
[78] وَضَرَبَ لَنا مَثَلًا وَنَسِىَ خَلقَهُ ۖ قالَ مَن يُحىِ العِظٰمَ وَهِىَ رَميمٌ
[78] সে আমার সম্পর্কে এক অদ্ভূত কথা বর্ণনা করে, অথচ সে নিজের সৃষ্টি ভুলে যায়। সে বলে কে জীবিত করবে অস্থিসমূহকে যখন সেগুলো পচে গলে যাবে?
[78] And he puts forth for Us a parable, and forgets his own creation. He says: "Who will give life to these bones after they are rotten and have become dust?"
[79] قُل يُحييهَا الَّذى أَنشَأَها أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ ۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ خَلقٍ عَليمٌ
[79] বলুন, যিনি প্রথমবার সেগুলোকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন, তিনিই জীবিত করবেন। তিনি সর্বপ্রকার সৃষ্টি সম্পর্কে সম্যক অবগত।
[79] Say: (O Muhammad SAW) "He will give life to them Who created them for the first time! And He is the All-Knower of every creation!"
[80] الَّذى جَعَلَ لَكُم مِنَ الشَّجَرِ الأَخضَرِ نارًا فَإِذا أَنتُم مِنهُ توقِدونَ
[80] যিনি তোমাদের জন্যে সবুজ বৃক্ষ থেকে আগুন উৎপন্ন করেন। তখন তোমরা তা থেকে আগুন জ্বালাও।
[80] He, Who produces for you fire out of the green tree, when behold! You kindle therewith.
[81] أَوَلَيسَ الَّذى خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضَ بِقٰدِرٍ عَلىٰ أَن يَخلُقَ مِثلَهُم ۚ بَلىٰ وَهُوَ الخَلّٰقُ العَليمُ
[81] যিনি নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডল সৃষ্টি করেছেন, তিনিই কি তাদের অনুরূপ সৃষ্টি করতে সক্ষম নন? হ্যাঁ তিনি মহাস্রষ্টা, সর্বজ্ঞ।
[81] Is not He, Who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the like of them? Yes, indeed! He is the All-Knowing Supreme Creator.
[82] إِنَّما أَمرُهُ إِذا أَرادَ شَيـًٔا أَن يَقولَ لَهُ كُن فَيَكونُ
[82] তিনি যখন কোন কিছু করতে ইচ্ছা করেন, তখন তাকে কেবল বলে দেন, ‘হও’ তখনই তা হয়ে যায়।
[82] Verily, His Command, when He intends a thing, is only that He says to it, "Be!" and it is!
[83] فَسُبحٰنَ الَّذى بِيَدِهِ مَلَكوتُ كُلِّ شَيءٍ وَإِلَيهِ تُرجَعونَ
[83] অতএব পবিত্র তিনি, যাঁর হাতে সবকিছুর রাজত্ব এবং তাঁরই দিকে তোমরা প্রত্যাবর্তিত হবে।
[83] So glorified is He and Exalted above all that they associate with Him, and in Whose Hands is the dominion of all things: and to Him you shall be returned.
